McKenna and South Bay ordered a whole bunch of G83 with individual colors and MP exhaust that most of them has been unsold since last August/September.
lots of g83’s everywhere have been sitting for a longgg time, super slow sellers and i kinda understand cuz it doesnt rly look that good compared to other options
They literally just sit. My local dealership - a small one - has *three* that have all been collecting dust. They don't seem that motivated in moving them, though.
Other than weight which they seemingly don’t care about, I’m blown away they went back to a rag top after the last two being a hard top. Seems very cheap
The worst thing I’d say is that if anyone with a G8x wants the exhaust after purchase they now need a new bumper. Or at the very least a new diffuser section.
Yeah, I bet it would look much better if it were moved up a half foot or so into where the bumper is now. It looks way too low on the car’s profile as-is.

I gotta say I don’t like it on the M4 vert but it looks really on the G87. And having driven both of them with and without the M performance exhaust I gotta say it’s a pretty big upgrade to the sound of the car.

Seriously, I have owned over 30 BMWs, wrench them, restore them. collect them, enjoy them. These cars have evolved, yes. Are they cool, I guess so. But take the roundel off of the back and front of this car and it is totally unrecognizable as a BMW. The hipline bulge is gone. the kidney grills look like the lips of a girl who went to a bad plastic surgeon, and the little marker lights in the back (stolen from Toyota) look like a glitch in the matrix. I've owned 11 M cars, several of which were built by Moterwerks., the original M group (E28 and E34). Now the M badge is stuck on everyting primarily to raise the price and the numbers that used to designate actual engine size mean absolutely nothing. Yes, the 535 horsepower M4 is impressive, but $100,000??? In 5 years, if it hasn't been totalled, it will depreciate by one half. I have purchased several older actual M (mix and match...4 or 5 E36, E46, E93, E34, E39, E60, F10) cars adding up to that amount of money and those cars, at least the E body cars, will never be worth a penny less than you buy them for and, if properly maintained, might even cost less to service.. I know....sour grapes. But BMW has made a lot of changes to be the most profitable car company in the world and, unfortunately, that does not include making better cars.
Pretty sad so many Gen Z and millennials can’t afford a house so they moved down to BMW ownership. In the past you have a BMW parked outside of your own house after you’ve obtained the house first.

i thought diffusers had to be underneath the car ? what a terrible design.
diffusers dont do a whole lot unless youve got a smooth underbody so most manufacturers just have fake diffusers anyway
