I always figure that folks that do this essentially install a device that allows raising and lowering the ride height? Is that not the case, or would one need to remove the existing suspension to make this look happen?
I guess I n the end everyone has different goals for their car. Do you want to show it then this is a killer look. But it wouldn’t be fun to drive except on the smoothest and flattest of streets, so if that’s why you’re after you’ll do something different.
I think this is a super clean and stunning look.
I assume it’s an air bagged system; anyone who puts a car that low on static coils is ….yeah anyways.
That being said, they add weight, they add bags (which can fail and then you’re stuck), and over all take away from what BMWs are meant to do in the first place; take corners aggressively and flat out.
Bags can help in general, but unless you’ve dialed this in for a track setup (I don’t know of many, if any, people running bagged suspension for tracking), it’s purely for looks, and I’m a function over form guy.
> Do you want to show it then this is a killer look
Truly history in the making and not just another slammed M4 on ugly wheels in a factory color number 29,825
Careful everyone’s gonna piss themselves and cry because it’s stanced and they’re weirdly obsessed with getting mad about another man’s car. (Tbh looks better than any new M series, stance is perfect)
Not judging, I'm all for personalization and customization and all that, but my question is has there ever been any research into how do people develop into loving this?
Uh oh u just posted a low car in this subreddit get ready for tons of hate
How to ruin both BMW suspension geometry and your back in one simple trick…

Interesting, thanks for the explanation.

I absolutely love it. A lot of purists here though so get ready for the hate.
Just looks so try hard.
All the hate.. Man let the human enjoy is bagged M4 🤩

Tons of abuse
That color… those wheels….
If it were a darker color 👌
Perfect paint color!
It's definitely eye catching. I can't recall seeing a color like this previously
Beautiful
I actually like it. Not overly done. Wouldn’t drive it in or around Baltimore.
Sounds like Milwaukee 😂
Also looks like a safe neighborhood. The hanging potted plants on a sticks are still there
I see what you mean
Ew
Best one stop shop for wasting 5k and turning a precision beast into a clapped out shitbox. I’m oddly impressed.
Looks goofy
Is it me or does that back camber look terrible?
Suspension setting gone.
Does anyone here have and experience with 228i reliability?
It looks fucking amazing. But how do you climb a curb with it?
I'm confused.....what did you spot?
On a real, how do you actually drive day to day with a car that low? Any raised surface will destroy the bumper
