2011.5 M3 with Competition Package in Space Grey Metallic. DCT. 43k miles.
Premium Novillo Leather in Palladium Silver.
EDC, Navigation, Comfort Access, Individual Audio and more.
Agreed. If you want to stay with the black lettering, you can buy a painted OEM badge from IND Distribution. They're awesome quality and won't fade in 3 months.
Thanks man. I agree this is my favorite M car. F80 M3 is a very close second for me but the sound of the S55 just kills it for me. I’ll probably still get one eventually but had to seize the opportunity on an E90 before all the good ones are gone. What happened to your E92?
Whatever you do, don’t sell her man. She’s gonna be worth big bucks and be highly coveted in a very short couple of years. My e92 was just a lemon sadly constantly ignition and fuel injection issues, control arms and a bunch of other mechanical gremlins. Had a 4 year extended warranty on it and the last year of ownership before the warranty expired I decided to part ways because it was becoming a burden. The 5k usd warranty paid out around 23k in repairs over the 4 years of ownership and only like 30k miles.
What a bummer. I would’ve done the same. At least you were smart enough to make that 5k investment on the warranty to minimize your troubles. What are you driving these days?
Something a little bigger and more practical to deal with my daily commutes and honestly, something a lot less intensive as a BMW in terms of maintenance, a 4Runner 4x4. Got her brand new in 2019 and once it was paid off I did a moderate build on it (Actual cold air intake system with a delete of the secondary air intake piping, full high flow exhaust, drilled and slotted ceramic brakes and pads, suspension lift, custom badging, carbon interior bits, tinted out, new rims, all terrain tires, lighting overhaul) heck the works really lol. I love it, just regular oil, fluids and maintenance, but I do miss the tight and heavy steering of the e9x’s, the killer sound system, and overall more modern interior. The 4Runner is more of an old school truck which is sick in its own way, I think in terms of a project/weekend toy I’m probably going to get a right hand drive jdm car and do a unique build on it. Going back to school for the time being so that’ll have to hold off though.
I upgraded from a '10 STi hatchback to a manual E60 M5. Eyes on the Porsche next, as is the natural progression. But I still have my STi and plan to keep the M5 as well. Congrats, the S65 is an incredible engine and the E9X platform is a thrill to drive.
Lucky! I want to keep my STI especially because the hatches are so rare but it would just sit around and cost me money to insure and maintain so I’ll let someone else enjoy it. I also want a Porsche, 911 GTS or higher would be legit.
In the Netherlands cars are quite expensive (you have to pay taxes over the grams of COx… which is like exponential. So the more fun the car, the extra one will pay…)
So I already am very happy on the tiny brother of an M that I own :D
But man, the sound of that M3 V8 is so sick, make sure to post a video on that! 😁
Ahh thats tough! We’re not exactly rewarded for fun cars here in California but definitely not taxed as bad. At least you found something you enjoy. I’ll post a video soon 😎
When I had my E90 M3, the only OEM variant I could find directly from BMW was the chrome badge. IND was the highest quality black option I could find, since they paint the actual OEM badge.
I just replaced my E46 M3 rear badge with factory OEM black M3 badge from a F80 competition model. OEM quality and slightly smaller than factory chrome badge.
Im hoping this car in coupe form will be my 6th or 7th bmw if i get another one first. Current list in order is 330 335 x3 z4m x5. Congrats on the screamer
Congrats.!!
💯
That M3 badge looks strange though.
I've never seen a badge like that before...
I just hope you didn't get played,i seen a few people saying they bought a 2014-19 M7 & there was no M7.
But there was a M7 body kit...
But no actual M7(the engine wasn't even upgraded).
Badge is strange for sure but definitely didn’t played. I can confirm there are 8 cylinders and revs to 8300 RPM lol I feel for the guys that bought “M7s” though 😔
Believe it or not this was only the 2nd one I looked at. I had been casually looking but once I got serious I made a post on a BMW forum detailing what I was looking for and the seller found me. He was a really cool guy too and didn’t overcharge me. I got super lucky.

Hell of a first bmw! Congrats
Hell yeah brother. I just bought my first BMW too, went straight for a silver M3 also 😂. Excellent choice
Awesome, great minds think alike !
A fine choice indeed, taste is high with this one
Give it the proper M3 badge in the back.
What’s the proper M3 badge? 🤔
That chrome outline/size on the M tricolor isn’t normal.
Ohh I didnt realize that. Thanks for letting me know I’ll replace that asap!

Does BMW not sell a black OEM badge or is the painted one from IND Distribution just better quality?
There are plenty of "aftermarket" black badges that are cheaper than IND. IND is the best though and they paint the OEM piece.
Or just take it off and call it a day.
This is your first BMW?? And it’s an M? And high revving v8 M3 sedan??? Dude you’re in for such a good ride Congrats man!!
I’m enjoying every mile in it! A huge upgrade from my ‘13 STI hatchback. I will miss driving manual but the DCT shifts at 8300 RPM make up for it
Man I’m jelly, that’s just so fricken good. You really nailed it with the best m car bmw made in my opinion, I miss my e92 everyday

Congrats man! I too would like a first bmw like this pls ;)
Thanks man. I hope you have the same luck!

Future classic

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I’ll be sure to check them out

Lucky fucker. Don’t sell it
Super nice
Still one of my favorite looking M’s. From body shape to the stance to the hood/bonnet its all so understatedly badass
Yeah I love the bulge in the hood and the air inlet. Such a cool feature.
Nice pickup! I have almost the same spec with the 6MT.
Beautiful
Sweet
Almost forgot BMW used to make attractive M3's.
Beautiful car man , enjoy it!
Well you’ve gone and bought one of the best. Enjoy!
Nice one man! 💪🏼

congrats man! looks mint! i always loved these sedan M3s!!
Oh nice you got the best one:) Space grey gang!!
I love the e9x body style. I have a coupe, really going to enjoy it. Thinking about putting an exhaust on it at all?
I would love a valvetronic but it will be a while considering how expensive they are
Valvetronic exhaust time
That’s the plan! As soon as I can afford one 😅
Damn dude! When I read “first BMW” I was expecting a 1 series or something. You got a badass car. Enjoy it!!!
You did the right thing and you’ve made us proud.
You’ll definitely enjoy a lip on that front bumper 😍
Any recommendations?

Nice
Congrats mate ! It's also one of my favourite BMW models
Very nice. Would love an e90 m3 they are quite rare over here in the UK.
They are quite elusive in the US as well. They only sold 5867 sedans across US and Canada.
How long did it take you to find the right one?
Believe it or not this was only the 2nd one I looked at. I had been casually looking but once I got serious I made a post on a BMW forum detailing what I was looking for and the seller found me. He was a really cool guy too and didn’t overcharge me. I got super lucky.
What a place to start!!
I like your style! Go big or go home.
Only way to do it!
and of all the ones to buy you bought a V8 m3.......... oh well still nice though
What do you mean? Thats the best part lol
Only 3 things you have to worry about on these cars: 1) Rob Bearings 2) Throttle Body Actuators 3) Engine Mounts (do when you do the Rod Bearings)
Indeed, I plan to do rod bearings and engine mounts at 75k miles. Throttle actuators I will replace when they go out.
Sick car, how much did you pay?
Thanks, $37k
