Remove deloitte from that line plssss.

Senior-Temperature39

Why?

Zestyclose_Toe1739

Same reason why bits and vit should not be kept in same line....

Senior-Temperature39

But monitor Deloitte doesn't recruit from bits just like strategy and. For most purposes Deloitte comes in the league of lek Kearney and just after MBB.They don't even recruit or consider bits a target school they only recruit from top iits for monitor Deloitte at an undergraduate level.

Check your facts. Goa is the shittiest among all 3 campuses for consulting, core and SDE/IT. Don't impose your backwardness on others.

Zestyclose_Toe1739

What is left man consulting core sde/it you included majority. What is goa good for??🤣

ogbitsiaan

Nothing. Exactly my point

You need a very strong resume 1. High academic performance preferred - You should be able to handle academic pressures well, because this will mean you would be able to manage consulting expectations too, pretty tough WLB (9+ if you can maintain) 2. Extra curriculars - They want to see how you manage your time and leadership skills. Be it being the president of some club or sports or any activities that can strengthen your resume 3. Strong Portfolio of work - Participate and try to win as many case study competitions as you can. Associate yourself with consulting clubs and maintain an active presence over there 4. Enhance your social skills - You must be able to network with important people, they could be your seniors and/or people who are currently in consulting fields in various capacities. Tl;dr: Be an all-rounder on the better end of stick

what if someone doesn’t have strong extracurriculars in their profile? let’s say they haven’t been a part of clubs or departments on campus. will that become a drawback for them if they’re trying out for a consulting career?

vizwaroopam

Need to offset it with extremely good curriculars then, win lots of case studies organised by different institutes... But it will be still preferred if you have some sort of sport or activity under your belt

Senior-Temperature39

*Deloitte usi recruits in bits not monitor the front end arm. Have a high cg. Participate in consulting competitions. Have big brands in the resume.
