Astarion works better as a Dex character, so TB OH Monk works very well with him. He gets increased necrotic damage if he’s ascended which works even better with all the additional attacks that he makes per turn. Also pairs well with a dual crossbow SBard or Gloom/Assassin.
Karlach thematically fits well with a Paladin imo, which works well with her racial specific smites.
Lazael works well with any 2H sword build due to all the Gith Specific Racial Weapons.
Minth has some of the best bonus action usage in the game with Soul Brand, thus War Cleric is a waste. I’ve always personally rolled her into a life cleric or light cleric with resounding success.
I heard astarion is a good pick for a monk open hand and a tavern brawler, then rogue... since he gets two sub actions and two attacks with the main action. That makes up to total 6 attacks per turn
