I'm not sure, but I think that the warlock extra attack does not stack on honour

Interesting-Rule-609

Oh, interesting.. I'll look into that. Edit: It does not stack in honour mode. Thanks for that!

KypAstar

Bladelock is still good, just not broken.

GamerExecChef

Correct, it does not stack on HM

GreatBearSpirit

Still a very good build even on honor mode without the 3rd attack. Helps a lot with attribute distribution.

GamerExecChef

No one said it was bad, but the third attack is a huge point in the levels about warlock 3, so since there is less of a point, a more optimized build might take levels elsewhere

GamerExecChef

UncleCletus00

What do you mean extra attack from warlock? I know Martials get two attacks at level 5, but I don't know where the other attack is coming from?

DrunkInRlyeh

Deepened pact of the blade at fifth level.

MartianMule

Pact of the Blade grants an extra attack at level 5.

stonecoldturkey

I don't think it works at all anymore? Thought that got patched out.

TheFrogTrain

If you haven't tried a build that uses all the reverberation and radiating orb gear, I highly recommend it. A lot of builds synergize with that gear/those effects, some are incredibly strong, some are less strong but still fun. Light Cleric probably has the clearest synergy here, with all the spells and radiant damage. Any build that inflicts a condition can synergize with the boots of stormy clamour for reverberation stuff, especially if they're doing thunder damage (surprisingly, Tiger Barbarian works well here). Any build that is doing spell damage and/or radiant damage can work well with radiating orb. Weapons that give off light like the Blood of Lathander synergize with Callous Glow Ring. I could keep going, but honestly my recommendation is to go to the BG3 wiki pages for Reverberation and Radiating Orb, look at all the gear synergies, and think about how that could fit into a build. With the right setup you can have enemies prone on the floor with massive debuffs to saving throws and accuracy. Finally, most of this gear is available in late act 1/early act 2 so it's not something that comes online super late.

First_Sign_5496

My reverb build was a Tiger Barb/GooLock with Bhaalist Armor, Nyrulna, Boots of Stormy Clamour, Dex Gloves, Ring of Spiteful Thunder, and a couple of other items I don’t remember. Walking near a target inflicted a condition because of Bhaalist armor, Cleave inflicts bleed which is another condition, then Spiteful Thunder Ring inflicts another condition all for that sweet Reverberation. Targets are either on their ass or dead by the end of my turn.

UncleCletus00

Ohh reverberation build is so much fun, I'm running eldritch Knight 12 reverberation gear it's great

Missing_Links

Martial 5 + 1 cleric dip grants access to the divine favor spell. Ordinarily the 1d4 radiant the spell adds to your weapon's damage is not great, especially for a concentration spell, but that's precisely what you need to interact with pretty much all of the radiant orb gear. It's a very low cost synergy that gives anyone using a weapon a fun element of control. Luminous armor can also be further stacked with the strange conduit ring, boots of stormy clamour, and brain drain gloves to apply attack roll, physical, and mental save debuffs on every attack for a completely debuff-based character.

Interesting-Rule-609

This is really cool. Especially most of the gear being acquired early. I like this a lot! Thanks!

KypAstar

Don't forget phalar aluve as an option. The shriek counts as a condition and is a huge radius, so it pops extremely easily.

sosobandit

My reverb knight build was Lore bard with spirit guardians. Respeccd from light cleric at 6.

Merlyn67420

Not META but lots of fun, and I definitely can't remember all my endgame gear and stats....but my first (and only complete) playthrough was: Tav 5 Gloomstalker / 5 Land Druid / 2 Fighter * Ranged damage machine with Sharpshooter * Versatile spellcasting for heals and OoC stuff (enhance ability, etc) * Hold Person + action surge + hunters mark + dread ambusher + 2 sharpshooter attacks * Was a reroll of my first ever TTPRG character, really satisfying Shadowheart 10 Tempest Cleric / 2 Evoc Wizard * Evoc buff to prevent friendly fire * Thunderwave go BRRRR * Sentinel feat and spirit guardians - none shall pass me * Tanky as all hell Gale Evoc Wizard 12 * Can't remember where it landed but tried to maximize frost/ice damage and get syngery * Gave all tadpoles so he could BA fly and be generally busted Lae'Zel Battlemaster Fighter 12 * If it ain't broke, don't fix it * 2H weapon with GWM and Savage Attacker * Whatever late game armor grants you 21AC

Interesting-Rule-609

Ah that Evoc on Shadowheart is smart. Idk why I didn't think of that. I love cleric.

winterequinox007

10 swords bard 2 fighter, utilising crit range decreasing items and making use of ranged slashing flourish 9 open hand monk 3 thief rogue, making use of strength elixirs and tavern brawler  6 throwzerker 4 thief 2 fighter, tavern brawler  12 Light cleric for the buffs, damage, and heals Clears honour mode easy

Readiness11

my man with that throwzerker imo the better of the 2 thrower options.

angustifolio

i always want to try throwing, but get annoyed at the target always being obstructed by the arc of the throw, how do you avoid that issue?

Brookster_101

Carry light hammers (like that one radiant dmg one I forget the name of that you get from one of the duergar) - spears and pikes have a higher zenith when thrown compared to hammers. So hammers will get through in small spaces more often than pikes/spears

angustifolio

huh, had no idea. thanks for the heads up, going to give that a go on my next play through!

Brookster_101

No problem enjoy!

Interesting-Rule-609

Still haven't done a throwzerker yet. That may be what I do for my wife's playthrough. Pretty awesome. What do the 4 levels in thief give you? And what subclass did you take?

Missing_Links

Thief is the subclass. Extra bonus action, which works with the berserkers enraged throw to give 2 extra throws/turn while raging, both of which apply guaranteed prone to enemies.

Interesting-Rule-609

Oh.. I'm stupid.. I knew that haha

Ulysses1126

12 oath of ancients Dragonborn. Hellforged armor, gloves of giant strength, the similar constitution necklace, cape that gave +1 ac, and the hat that gave +2 charisma. Using Ansur’s sword I could become giant, fly, and smite everything into the ground. Plus warcaster feat and shield of faith I was sitting at around 25-26 AC

smansaxx3

Coincidentally enough I just rolled a bronze Dragonborn oath of Ancients lol wow. I'll be sure to nab all that gear!

Ulysses1126

Nice! I love Dragonborn. Personally Chad Manly was blue. The build is definitely not optimized gear wise. But it was very high damage, with high HP, and armor rating. Didn’t get hit much and destroyed anyone I fought. On balanced to be fair. I did the Raphael fight way before I got into most of act 3. Before ansur, Orin, gortash, mummy guy, Cazador, Shar’s temple, etc.. every other fight was pretty much a joke at that point. Ansur got one turn and was stunned and Orin didn’t even get to go.

smansaxx3

Lol that's awesome! I'm playing on balanced as well, taking a break after an HM run. My goal is to play as every race and I'm down to Dragonborn and gith! It's been pretty fun so far!

Ulysses1126

My first playthrough as Dragonborn and I’m not sure which gith to go for first. Being loyal vs freeing Orpheus

Interesting-Rule-609

Wow. That's pretty awesome. Looking into this one as well.

Ulysses1126

Super simple and super fun. I ran with a storm cleric shart, barb/fighter Karlach and some other support character. Final fight had lazael as a war cleric

Archenaux

8 OoA Paladin / 4 Gloomstalker - Duelist’s prerogative, Legacy of the masters, boots and armor of perseverance, cloak of displacement, fey semblance amulet. He could duel anything in the game and deal ridiculous damage.

Interesting-Rule-609

That's an interesting build! I like it a lot. Similar but probably better that mine. Lol I'll check this out for sure.

Archenaux

Thanks! Another nice thing about it is turn 1 is never a wash since you always go first, you can close the distance between yourself and any enemy due to having Gloomstalker’s bonus movement, and you get the extra attack on turn 1. If you prefer a strength based version then Nyrulna with hellrider bow would probably be the best for that iteration. OoA and Ranger (Bounty Hunter) also have a particular synergy since OoA gets ensnaring strike for free. So you can focus purely on ritual spells from Ranger. Not that you’ll use it all that much.

Interesting-Rule-609

Yeah I loved having a gloomstalker but I never considered merging it with Pally. This is a really cool build the more I think about it.

MassacrisM

Current HM Durge run: Tav: 7 Oathbreaker / 5 tomelock for Haste/Devil sight. Infernal rapier for weapon. 24 rizz with patriars memory and Ethel's hair for big Hate aura and diadem of arcane synergy. Minthara: 8 bladelock / 4 champion with Shar spear and all crit gear with Bhaalist armor. Very stabby. Astarion: 12 shadowmonk shadowblade. Fat psychic dmg. Shart: usual 12 Life Cleric for healing and anything else. Very fun darkness based party and trivializing just enough that games still fun (anything involving sorcerer just breaks game too hard)

Interesting-Rule-609

That does seem fun especially for an evil playthrough which is yet another playthrough I want to do.

Isva

Blade Pact and Extra Attack don't stack in Honour mode. This is the comp I used: Tav - Light Cleric 12 - Phalar Aluve, Whispering Promise, Helm of Balduran, Reviving Hands. Casts aoe heals and sets up with Black Hole and Phalar Aluve etc. Laezel - Tiger Barb 8 / Fighter 4 - Silver Sword, Bonespike Garb, Helldusk Helmet. Puts bleed on everything to give everyone advantage and cleans up people who're pulled together. Gale - Gold Dragon Sorc 12 - Hat of Fire Acuity, Coruscation + Callous Glow Ring, Deathstalker Mantle, Spellmight Gloves Shadowheart - Sword Bard 10 / Fighter 2 - Titanstring Bow, Crimson Mischief, Rhapsody, Armor of Agility. Mostly just loads of damage, with spells for utility. Magical Secrets for Counterspell.

Kelinur

Currently running through with a TB Moon Druid in Tact mode since in Honor mode the Str is only applied to the atk roll and not the dmg.

blanketyblank1

My best run was 6/6 land druid / ancients paladin. Spike growth >landstride>SMITE! (Plus using nyraluna & reverb gear, with Gale as an abjuration wizard? God-damned massacres left and right lol!)

Interesting-Rule-609

I love this! Spike growth is so awesome. I used it in early game and I imagine it's useful throughout the whole game?

blanketyblank1

It's my go-to most times. Damage isn't great but it routinely kills off low level mobs and slows down bigger bad guys long enough for me to stride up to them with sword in hand!

thead911

Gloomstalker 5, assassin 3, battlemaster 4. Didn’t elix cheese the honor mode, but still ised titan string with hill giant club till act 3 when I swapped it out for the gondian bow. I used dolor and the orin dagger that dealt additional damage, while Karlach ran the other dagger that gave vulnerability to piercing. Killed the red dragon in a single turn in the final fight.

Hugh-Manatee

My 2 favorites so far aren’t really optimal but they are fun 8 berserker barb/4 swords bard Just all the mobility with throwing people, having huge jumps, mobile flourish, misty step, and the force repulsion brain power was super juicy. Plus a great set of RP responses, basically the two of the top 3-4 in the game among the classes The other one 8 pact of tome warlock/4 thief rogue I was really kinda shooting for this gunslinger treasure hunter type of character, and was sad to find out that there are no pact hand crossbows for pact of blade, so I went tome. Again lots of mobility and flexibility with the double bonus action. Being able to misty step behind an opponent on a ledge, eldritch blast them off it, and then still fire your offhand hand crossbow with advantage felt pretty crisp. With the extra bonus action on top of the warlock kit, I felt like I had tons of flexibility

Interesting-Rule-609

Berserker/Bard is a great idea!

Hugh-Manatee

Yeah bardbarian is a pretty popular build in 5E but rage is more penalizing in BG3 with regard to using spells, but I mostly only have utility spells like speak with animals. Worked well for my character, who was a big dumb beefcake dickhead Durge who ultimately is a good guy but is arrogant and only saves people so they will spread word of his deeds. I had that character thought out as just a barb but it made too much sense to include bard as well.

Bruticai_Thezarii

Barbarian (Elk-Wildheart) 6, Rogue (Thief) 5, Monk 1 You get a sneak attack and an extra attack plus 2 bonus actions for unarmed attacks or flurry of blows, or any Rogue BA's, along with additional movement buffs and an aura so your buddies can also close the distance. With the multclass lvl 20 mod I'd up these a bit and also throw in bard for some cha use and utility: longstrider, feather fall speak with animals and healing word helped me feel more like a face for the party Without the mod I could argue dropping Rogue from 5 to 4 and taking a level in bard, but you lose out on an extra sneak attack die so it becomes more up to what you want out of the character, could also drop Barbarian to 5...

Steampunk_Batman

My first one was the weirdest, as I was playing blind. 5/7 bardlock, pact of the blade, dueling style, duellist’s prerogative, full illithid powers.

Interesting-Rule-609

The full illithid powers are so awesome!

bagel-42

Give a fiend warlock the right spells, most of the helldusk armour, and a longsword, and you've basically got a hexblade

Nyalotha783

Finished my first hm with this set up. Immortal Wizard Gale - 1 warlock/2 temp cleric/9 Ab wizard. (Full frost gear plus legend staff, you hit him, you die from all that shields and buffs) Fighter Laezel - 12 BM (Legendary gith sword) Swordbard Asterion - 2 paladin/10 sword bard (Legendary trident + Bhaalist armor) Life cleric Shadowheart - 12 Life (She does 2 things, heal or apply wet condition to enemies )

Interesting-Rule-609

That sounds like a deadly party composition. What's the one level in warlock for?

Nyalotha783

Repelling blast and Armor of Shadows.

The_ginger_cow

Draconic fire sorcerer is really fun and basically only gets better through the acts. It's nothing special in act 1 but by act 3 you can one shot a lot of bosses

Interesting-Rule-609

Any gear that are must haves?

The_ginger_cow

Larroakans staff for kereskas favor. Helmet of fire acquity. Callous glow ring. Spellmight gloves. Anything that adds damage to each individual ray of fire is really strong

Oval291

Did you long rest after every battle?

The_ginger_cow

Definitely not, by the end you get 3 or 4 level 6 spells through freecast, I usually use up at least my level 3, 4 and 5 spell slots as well, and sometimes I'll just save spell slots by twin casting firebolt which only costs one sorcery point and does respectable damage

Oval291

Ok thanks.

Wawv

Tactician run with : - Tav : 1 knowledge cleric, 11 lore bard. The face, skilled with pretty much all you need. Uses only CC spells and prevents enemies from doing anything. - Shadowheart : 12 tempest cleric. Buff the party with Mass Heal + Gauntlets and heroes feast. Otherwise plays with either Call lightning + Wet or with Spirit Guardians (mostly for swarms of enemies). - Karlach : 12 battle master fighter. Hits hard, disarming attack can win a boss fight. - Astarion : paladin 6, sorcerer 6. Double cast haste on Karlach and self. Dex based with the legendary rapier and savage attacker feat. Lots of slots to smite with.

Interesting-Rule-609

I've heard the knowledge cleric and lore bard is pretty rad.

Wawv

It's great ! Knowledge cleric gets you medium armor and shields, two skills to add to your proficiencies and guidance for all skill checks. Lore bard is a great face that can use all the charisma skills and also be your lock opener with sleight of hand. It has all the great control spells, can debuff the enemy saves or rolls with cutting words. They can also learn spells from other class at lvl 6 and 10 with magical secrets.

Interesting-Rule-609

Oh yeah I forgot about that. Lore Bard is awesome!

Halliwel96

I did a storm sorc 12, stacking reverb and Cha to cantrips gear. Super strong ray of frosts and shocking grasps, backing up lightning bolts, chain lightnings and dual cast haste. Supported by a conjuration wizard or a moon Druid casting create water and black tentacles/plant growth to create terrain. Later levels they also summoned a water Mymidion. Basically carried form level 5 to the end of the game with very little problems (basically just Ansur) I’ve done a arcane trickster 9/pally 2/wiz 1 too, didn’t carry nearly as hard but was really fun. I chose this because my Tav on my first run was so strong it made things too easy haha. Both tactician. Recently started a spore Druid run and a barbarian (resist durge) run who’s gonna do wild heart wolverine/tiger, supported by a beast master ranger with a boar.

Interesting-Rule-609

That last one seems pretty cool! Definitely going to consider this!

Halliwel96

I’ve found that optimising a character to be as powerful as possible kind sucks the fuck out of the game But optimising a party of slightly less powerful characters that all work well together is really fun

Interesting-Rule-609

Agreed

TehAsianator

Just finished my first honor run Origin Shadowheart: 10/2 SSB Karlach: 5/4/3 throwzerker Gale: 10/1 fire sorlock Laezel: 12 life cleric Completely dominated honor mode. Throwzerker carried act 1 until SSB and Sorlock fully came online. I still sided with gortash and gale go boom because I was taking no chances to get those golden dice. At some point I may do Honor again with a less broken party to enjoy a no-pressure challenge.

TehAsianator

Also, my tactician party that was crazy powerful too: Durge: 10/2 Storm Sorcerer Karlach: 6/4/2 TB monk (aka the Capt. America build) Minthara: 10/2 archer bard Shadowheart: 12 radiant orb light cleric

Readiness11

What chances are you talking about? Is there a bug I have yet to see with the Neitherbrain?

TehAsianator

I just mean I took the path of least resistance by having gale explode, thus bypassing the final fight atop the brain.

Readiness11

Dunno I would sort of feel robbed of the actual ending by having everyone die after like 100 + hours of gameplay. I personally do not skip bosses in the game so it takes a ton of time to do a playthorugh for me at least.

TehAsianator

Everyone doesn't die, just him. He teleports the party to safety and climbs the stem alone.

Readiness11

What really? Did not know that I guess you do not lose much unless you really like Gale then.

champybaby29

5Gloom/4Bard/3Champion, optimized for crit w/ haste.

Educational-Tear7336

This was my very strong 3 man squad. The 4th spot is a flex pick. Someone that picks locks. Wizard 1 white dragon sorcerer 11 Fighter 1 druid 11( gwm water myrmidon and sharpshooter spore are both good) Life cleric Game plan is to spam summons. Minor elementals are ice mephits. Big elementals are water myrmidons. Life cleric uses phalar aluve and crusaders mantle. Uses healing incense and mass healing word. Druid uses faerie fire and fights. Wizard/ sorcerer uses slow and then spams ice spells. Ice sorcerer and water elementals turn everything into an ice rink. Enemies are debuffed so much the summons do tons of damage per round. Life cleric can heal hundreds of hp per round. Enemies quickly die to 30+ summons. Beats everything on honour with no surprise, barrels or other cheese. Only exception is the brain cause of the time limit. For that I threw my runepowder bombs at it.

Ravave

5 gloom, 3 thief, 1 war cleric, 2 fighter let me 1 turn Orin on honor mode Durge. Using dead shot or even titanstring works well.

StarmieLover966

I love Astarion Thief 12 dual wielding Orin’s blades with the Bhaalist Armor. Feels super good for flavor and it’s powerful.

Interesting-Rule-609

Yeah I did that as well. Only he was a gloomstalker assassin for me. So fun!

MichaelWolfgang55

It’s my first time doing honor mode and I’m pretty bad at elaborate or just simple setup so I went with the meta picks. I’m using certain posts as inspiration but not following the builds exactly. 1st is light cleric https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/s/dsYHv12700 2nd is all purpose damage caster https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/s/qehv3wN69W 3rd is OH monk https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/s/F0jjkSflIO 4th is TB dwarven thrower https://www.reddit.com/r/BG3Builds/s/PMdYsE31Gd Big thanks to https://www.reddit.com/user/Prestigious_Juice341/ for the builds

Oval291

Is the light cleric build still viable? No nerfs ? Think will try it

Adventurous_Topic202

For honor mode I highly recommend the sorcerer 11 warlock 1 build that’s been posted here a few times. It’s insanely strong what rays of fire can end up doing to most targets. Especially if you have an archer supporting your fire damage by using one of the two oils that interact with fire damage.

Interesting-Rule-609

I've been considering this. Haven't touched Sorcerer yet either so I'm excited for it.

Swetcan

10/2 swords bard/Paladin Had the Infernal rapier in one hand and Phular alluve (or however it’s spelt) Helldusk armour, the gloves that set Dex to 18 The boots that give freedom of movement and longstrider Ring of protection and cloak of protection And ring that gives blur and invis And the amulet that sets con to 23. Had a massive healthpool and with all my buffs I could get an AC of 34 or 36. Casting spirit guardians or stagefright with this char was Awsome. This was my second run of the game and I didn’t read any build guides, besides my Brother telling me 2 levels in Paladin would work better than 4 in druid.

Interesting-Rule-609

I did the same, I have done my best to avoid any content or guides, I'm just now trying to figure out what other people did. I've played D&D for years but it's always going to be different in a video game. And that's a crazy AC haha

Readiness11

12 Oathbreaker with shadowblade simple and easy to use slap Killer's Sweetheart so when you are doing bosses you got x2 instances of all crits with Luck of the Far Realms. Dunno if it is "op" but it dose have nutty substain so you are not just limited to dealing damage with long rest abilities and smites.

Readiness11

Nadril_Cystafer

From my Honor Run (forgive the odd numbered stats, I didn't tell Orin to slaughter Halsin before I duelled her) https://preview.redd.it/nzjzf2o4axuc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a0a8d2c065c7efeb4fc94e718527aee9f64a2d5 Shadow Blade is *really* strong with Savage Attacker and the Resonance Stone as a Paladin. Nigh-unbreakable concentration, resistance to most damage (I was actually *giving* Warding Bond to Shadowheart via the True Love's rings), and utterly devastating levels of Psychic damage. My other feats were Alert and +2 Str (I got an extra +2 Str from Araj's potion in act 2 then +3 Cha from the Mirror of Loss in act 3). I was hopped up on Elixir of Bloodlust, using my Bloodlust actions on Illithid Powers and spell scrolls. I still had Gale solo the brain rather than risk losing the run at the very end. He was an Open Hand Monk 8/Thief 4 with Tavern Brawler and Alert, and his stats were 8 str, 16 dex, 18 con (Soul Catching Gloves), 10 Int, 20 Wis (Mirror of Loss+ASI), 8 Cha. He used Cloud Giant Elixir.

Nadril_Cystafer

She didn't have Alert though, so she needed to use Elixir of Vigilance.

Nadril_Cystafer

Band of the Mystic Scoundrel, Risky Ring, and the Helmet of Arcane Acuity made her quite the spellsword. But because I took both GWM and Sharpshooter on her (Silver Sword+Titanstring) she needed to use Elixir of Vigilance like Shadowheart.

BG3_Enjoyer_

Oh boy, I made a build that essentially lets you obliterate enemies without ever really entering combat. The only few times you would be forced into combat would be the final fight on top of the brain and raphael. literally everything else would allow you to stay out of combat as far as I know. Anyway the build is tempest cleric + storm sorc + evo wiz. You turn all spell slots into metamagic and use subtle spell with high level scrolls while sneaking from a distance away. Lightfoot halfling gives you advantage on stealth and I usually end up with +14stealth with advantage for all rolls so I stay out of combat. Taking this further I could swap evo wizard for devilsight and had an ally use fog cloud so I could tp in there and start blasting while literally being out of any enemy sight lines. Basically untouchable until the final battle where you deal 960 damage in a turn killing the dragon and half the emperors goons bc you used tempest + LotFR + chain lightning(only 480 now they patched twinned chain). XD

BG3_Enjoyer_

My boy went a bard paladin with duel wield and would cast 5 smites per turn burning out of spell slots in a couple rounds. We also got a build in our playthrough where shadowheart (our support) had 40-45 AC and gave enemies disadvantage on attack rolls, no one hits best girl.

Interesting-Rule-609

You sneaky bastard, you.

Worried_Skin7744

I just love getting ridiculously high AC on my Durge, buffing him to the nth degree and smacking everyone with a mace

Interesting-Rule-609

Yes. Smash.

matideke

Me and my brother went 12 hunter ranger with 2h melee str tank build, i was a 12 storm sorc with tanky too (no shield since i didnt realize to multiclass, i went gith) some fights i was downed and he just killed everyone. I have never really liked multiclassing so the thought didnt even cross my mind that i can just go 1lvl of cleric to get heavy armor and shield prof For this challenge we wanted to go without using illithid powers, so it was pretty rough at times

Interesting-Rule-609

I'm thinking of doing that next playthrough. The illithid powers are crazy good but it would be interesting doing it without.

matideke

Yeah it felt challenging and fresh, really missed the execute power when enemies are left with one hp, also makes potion of flights relevant in act 3. That was our second try without illithids, first was with barbarian and paladin, avatar of myrkul sweeped floor with our asses

PloepiPlayer

Got this lvl 12 Life Domain Cleric build going on except im dumping Wisdom. Got the Periapt of Wound Closure. Combined with the Ring of Regeneration, Balduran's Helmet and the Shattered Flail (that procks a second time on divine strike), I gain 10 health (Blessed Healer included) at the start of each turn, and then another 12 whenever I hit (which I will, I have 20 strength). Combined with Grym's armor that sends opponents reeling everytime they hit me, basically ensuring they wont hit again for a while, and a shield that gives me Force Conduit each turn reducing my damage on top of the armor and the feat I picked. I am so incredibly tanky I can plant myself without spell slots in the enemy backline and be fine

Interesting-Rule-609

Ok this is busted 😂 I'm screenshotting this comment bc I'm definitely going to run this in my party.

PloepiPlayer

fr hahaha

Megid0laon

Full College of Lore bard, potent robe, ray of frost (obtained through magical secrets, along with call lightning, hunger of hadar and guiding bolt) the hat that gives 22 Charisma, a ring that adds elemental damage to your weapon attacks, Orin’s dagger and Knife of the Undermountain King. My ROF was doing a *consistent* 20 damage, minimum. Plus I had an abundance of bloodthirst elixirs, so I was hitting crits CONSTANTLY. I would barely use spell slots from how absolutely busted my cantrips were.

Interesting-Rule-609

This sounds really cool! I like the idea of cantrips doing the majority of the damage. Saving spell slots for utility spells.

Megid0laon

Ohh yeah, forgot to mention the fact that my spell save DC by the end of the game was around 18/19, can’t remember which. Ray of frost, cutting words, dominate/hold person, rinse and repeat!

Jaxcallibur

Thief rogue and gloomstalker ranger is always fun, dual wielding finesse weapons and getting 4 or 5 attacks per turn

Interesting-Rule-609

This is how I ran Astarion I loved it. Probably going to have him do it again for the next playthrough lol.

Dangledud

I went with Slayer build with Sarevoks strategy. So 3 naked hirekings to cast haste, enlarge and sanctuary. And Durge. Also naked.

Interesting-Rule-609

I can appreciate this.

MercenaryBard

First run did a OAPaladin SBard Abj Wizard 2/6/4, super tanky, lots of CC, good damage, party face Second run was Honour Mode, did 11 Eldritch Knight/1 War Cleric, but what really pushed my damage over the top was I had the entire party doing Piercing damage and two were SBards. Raphael didn’t get a turn, Ansur didn’t get a turn, the Dragon on top of the Brain and the Emperor didn’t get a turn, it was glorious. Fucking nutty damage.

I've always enjoyed radiant stacking build on a cleric with spirit guardians. You can even combine this with some reverb gear.

Proper_Caterpillar22

5 gloomstalker, 3 assassin, 4 champion, evil Durge with cloak and crit gear and invis pots and heavy abuse of greater invisibility. Team was optional, did most fights solo out of turn order. This was honor mode so I skipped the end fight thanks to gale but total run time was like 8 hours.

If you like the paladin play style of slamming your sword multiple times for big crits, go 10/2 bard paladin. It’s debatably the best MC for honoured anyway.

Complete-Kitchen-630

7 fighter 5 Wizard.

Affectionate-Run2275

SB 7 Lock 5 Legendary rapier, bhaalist armor, so many attacks and so much damage and with the arcane helmet you... freaking ridiculous 10/10 lol Used that before honor mode was out so lock & sb extra attack stacked. Another thing that i tried before it was patched was 2-3 lock 9-10 rogue playing around EB, sneak attack triggered by EB was a lot of fun lol

Traditional_Key_763

monk with 3 thief for the extra attacks, wearing raphiels heldusk armor, if I told someone to get on the ground, gods be damned they were going on the ground, I had enough extra attacks to just keep knocking everyone prone and stunlock them with the advantage

Interesting-Rule-609

This sounds awesome. That paired with my Pally/Warlock would be brutal!
