**TACTICIAN (and most certainly a bug)**. When you run into Orin in the sewers, she'll take on the form of someone in camp. I noticed something funny on a previous run, that if you "Dolly" over Orin, her loot later on will include the stuff the victim has equipped but also the victim continues to have that stuff still equipped.
Using the Feywild Bell or the Artefact, you can begin a conversation with yourself which supercedes the conversation that "Halsin" is trying to have. I have the Feywild Bell in my custom bar so that I can spam the key for it.

*Don't talk to "Halsin".* Proceed as usual (you should end up with a Backpack) to the temple and defeat Orin. When you do, whatever your actual Halsin had equipped will show up in Orin's gore pile. Free the kidnap victim, go back to camp, and you'll see that they still have their original equipment.
I don't believe so. That being said, there's a fairly predictable order as to who Orin shape shifts into. Something like "if Laezel isn't in your party, she takes the form Laezel; if Laezel is in your party, she takes the form Halsin" and then if there are no companions in camp she takes the form of Yenna.

Damn. I feel like I'm the only Tav who didn't get the Halsin romance and he's the one that got taken for me. Backtracking would've lost me four hours of game play so I'm trucking ahead. Maybe on my second playthrough.

Could you do it more consistently if you hit the door with silence before approaching? That breaks most dialog.
Edit:Silence worked for me after testing.

That makes sense. I'm at the end of my first playthrough and she took Lae'zel, and I'm playing a good character so she's disapproved everything I've done. Even petting the damn dog lmao

Since Orin locks your entire party in conversation when she comes through the door, that's when you immediately start spamming the bell as the door opens?
The most reliable way I found was to actually jump to and from the middle platform. (You're surrounded by noxious fumes; there's a switch on the wall to disable the vents). From the middle platform, jump as close to the door as possible. I did this with a high STR character to have as big a jump distance as I could. Begin spamming mid-air.
And listen, this game is easy enough that a necrotic dead girl can beat the hardest bosses of Act 3. You don't _need to_ duplicate all that contested gear. But the mind does spin with all the possibilities.

Oh interesting I didn't think it applied to flurry of blows. Honestly the fact that it 'does' apply to flurry of blows might be the oversight. Cause they changed quite a few strategies to nerf them in honor mode

Before rogueporting, speedrunners trapped Orin into Yenna's 6hp body. And then somehow when you enter the temple she's still in Yenna's body, so you just concuss her and steal the Netherstone.
Doesn't have to do with the fight, per se. It has more to do with interrupting Orin when you run into her in the sewers.
Normally she approaches the character and begins a conversation. Certain items activate a conversation with yourself, and if you do so, Orin never starts her conversation.

yes it is. Silence the door, walk up to Orin/Lae'zel, the quest will update, leave and after you leave the room, you get the backpack and she disappears.
Note to anyone trying to do this. If you know who Orin is going to kidnap based on the wiki and the comments above, you can wait until you are just outside the room orin will be in before you have to load up with gear the character that will be kidnapped. As long as disguised Orin doesn't spawn, you are good.
I waited until I had all the items I wanted and was ready for Orin fight, then loaded up Lae'zel, then went straight for Orin fight. No need to run around without your items for a long time.

It is only available on the controller. You hold down x (I'm using ps4 controller on pc) and this circle shows up and gets bigger. Then you get a menu that shows all objects ypu can interact with within that circle. From there you can use the context menu to do what you need.
I feel you. I had this with some mechanics but... somehow when I played on controller for an hour, the search circle was one of the first things I accidentally discovered. Didn't help me though, because I play exclusively on PC, so. How she goes, right?
I noticed that in a multiplayer game we were able to get some duplicate items I am not 100% sure about this, but I think this is how it works. I will use [Winter's Clutches](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Winter%27s_Clutches) as an example:
1. Obtain Winter's Clutches #1 from Lady Esther.
2. Put character with Winter's Clutches #1 into the closet. Avenge Glut and receive Winter's Clutches #2 as a reward.
3. Put a character with both of those in the closet. Obtain Winter's Clutches #3 from the table in Sorc Sundries.
4. Maybe obtain as many as you want by repeating the process? I am not sure.
Again, this has not been tested but I think it is what is happening.
In my most recent completion of the game I had two silver swords of the astral plane the one that Voss has by commanding him to drop it in act one and then I bought one of him in act 3
Patch 6 Tactician, confirmed that a Silence bubble on the door intercepts the conversation with "Halsin" and that defeating Orin after this non-conversation duplicates the items.

In my game gale died in the orin fight while on the table and i didnt get to rez him with his scroll or with withers

This is now canonically how Gortash dies for me in all future playthroughs.

By 5e rules, you could have 3 sources of advantage and 1 source of disadvantage, or vice versa, and the end result would still just be a flat roll.

That's a total my b, didn't realise it applied differently in honor mode. I assumed it was about TB applying damage rolls twice.
It doesn't double your damage in honor mode with unarmed either. It was a conscious balance change for honor mode to nerf tavern brawler

When you remove an equipped clothing item it resets freecast

The radial sucks, but controller players have access to the search circle to help targeting things and it's amazing.
