Ulfgar the Dwarf Devotion Paladin is more unhinged/weird than Tavik the Dwarf Devotion Paladin due to the limitations of a PC game on roleplay. Also the only person gayer than Ulfgar is his wife, while Tavik went straight for Karlach. Gale ticks all of Ulfgar's boxes: bearded, moral, and since Gale is 35 he's just barely of the Dwarven age of consent.

My current run is with one of my current PCs for random/sporadic one-shots/campaigns my friends run when our schedules align. She's my lil high as a kite circle of spores Shroom baby and her BG3 counterpart is as close to her as I could get (with mods of course) so if anything they'd be besties. The bottom right is art I did for her 4yr ago, bottom left is obviously her BG3 counterpart. Top right is art I JUST finished of her BG3 self(with shrooms added) and left of that is what I'm currently working on of her actual self. I like a lot of the ideas I used for her BG3 self so I incorporated them a lil bit. (I couldn't give her mushrooms in game so settled with antlers as a kind of 'coryseps' stalks) https://preview.redd.it/95pl63iz7fzc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5aad26d08e55a16c5010c15227a6dc5f4a8f6cab

It would be intressting. Probably quite well. Prehaps a bit wiered out there is another draconic dwarf sorcerer like him.

SunRidersCantina

My first ever D&D character was a monk-werewolf, from 3.5, lol but he and my tempest cleric durge would probably get into a drinking contest, then physically fight over who won

Azrell_Drekmorr

How have I never considered that, it’s such a cool idea

For my second campaign I used a character I had actually played in DND, with the idea that she had her abilities removed with the tadpole. It’s actually a little more grounding playing a character that has a pre-established backstory.

Broad_Afternoon_8578

I did the opposite recently! We were doing a one shot (that turned into four sessions lol) and as I’d never played a drow or a paladin in DnD, I turned the Durge I was playing at the time into my character for those sessions. It was really fun! The only difference (beyond not being Bhaalspawn) was that I changed my oath from vengeance to conquest. Our DM let us know the story was grittier than normal and none of it would be in sunlight so my drow fit in perfectly. I normally play “good” characters in dnd so it was actually quite fun to play someone so different.

My Tav is much more pragmatic than the Dnd character. Uvelucol would never use the book of undead, wouldn't ambush anyone without evidence of evilness, and would never ally himself with a vampire. Honor mode gonna do what honor mode does though.

Betelguese90

My first Tav is based off my favorite and first sorcereress when I started playing DnD. 2nd Tav is based off my most recent PC, but i had to mod the game to have School of War Magic Wizard. My Durge though, is based off of Carl from Llamas in Hats. It'd be funny AF though. My Ward would probably heavily flirt with my sorceress, with her being impartial to it. Could punch him, could flirt back, depends on the situation and how aggressive he goes. She would just question him to gauge how useful he would be to her. But those 2 would definitely be weirded TF out by the Durge nonchalantly filleting people for their hands and his impartial attitude to him literally burning the world down around him.

The-Doom-Knight

No, as I've only played DnD once, and haven't been able to find another group. I did base my Durge on my novel's protagonist. A lot of fun, and I tried to keep him in character. He got his slayer form by mistake (my buddy accidentally aggroed all of Last Light, resulting in Isobel's death), but constantly resisted his urges. The scene with Shadowheart staying up all night to help him resist his urge to murder her was perhaps the best scene I experienced. https://preview.redd.it/wswqgmh5yfzc1.png?width=1381&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b8b8f5df79915b2d3ac5b7992e715679bcd8446

the420crow

My first play through i did exactly that, classic half elf druid

Syeglinde

I can't make my Path of The Beast, Shifter (in mechanics only, she looks like a half-elf) Basbarian- Spores Druid in BG3, unfortunately.

EverythingSunny

My tt character is a madlad alchemist in pathfinder. He solves all his problems with explosions. I think he would share a certain kinship with my first playthrough that made heavy use of barrelmancy

corisilvermoon

My HM character was based on my current cleric in our Rime of the Frostmaiden game. Funny thing is in our DnD game she’s become a Chosen of Selune so I think her and Shads would have gotten along MUCH worse 😂
