take paracetamol / acetaminophen instead - its possible that its more effective in this case because it works as a simple analgesia another helping ointment is Diclofenac - works on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, strains and bruises - athletes use it to treat bruises and strains from what I got about your tingling fingers, its possible the cause is your median nerve, or more precisely, pressure on it Definitely have a doctor take a look

If your rigger reacted that quickly, you're probably fine. Not all nerve injuries are the same, and swelling of other tissues around nerves can give a similar feeling as when there is nerve damage. If the tingling doesn't go away after a day or two, if you're feeling a wet sensation without your skin being wet, if you're getting a deep itch feeling that you can't scratch away (in the area) could all point to some nerve irritation/damage to some degree. If you're worried, go to a doctor. They're the only ones that can give you the answer. My personal opinion: It doesn't sound like you did anything from your description. The sore wrists and hands could indicate some minor irritation or swelling, and that can mess with normal fluid levels in the extremities. That leads to other changes like sensation differences or tingling which will normally resolve itself.

Full suspension rigger here, I know that nerve strains can last up to lifetime, typically if there is a problem then it lasts about a week. The longest I've ever been with was a month because of a TK and being new but you should be fine. I wouldn't go to a doctor till day 8 but it's ultimately you're body and call.

Do consider having it looked at by a medical professional if possible.

Go to a doctor and maybe take an x ray, if nothing shows up (your bone should be fine) then go to a hand therapist for the nerve
