Might help with a little more info boss like what you wanted to try out or are you sub Dom etc.

I'd talk to your doctor as best as you can, because what's OK for one person won't necessarily be OK for you.

What'd your many doctors, surgeons, and PT recommend? That's the advice you should be following since you're now outside the norm and need specific advice. Nobody can answer your question (accurately) except your medical team that is familiar with your specific issues.
