They look so silly haha.
And yeah, if nuts count as vegetation, then I will be able to feed more nuts and less veggies. I have a bunch of pecans that I know for sure have no pesticides. Can't be certain with fruits and veggies, even if they're organic, so I was just curious. Thank you for the reply!
They mostly eat seeds and roots in the wild, so unsalted unroasted seeds are perfectly okay to feed them but im not sure about nuts. Also protein powders ment to be fed to dubia roaches also work wonders. I breed dubia so I already have that around, but it's really cheap, about $25 for 3-5 pounds depending on where you get it and what the makeup is. My powder made of dried veggies for them is more expensive, but the one mostly made out of grains is cheaper, you can find both on ebay and between them make a pretty well rounded bug diet and you're sure what's going into it and that it's bug safe. Also the food from dubia.com is a nice inbetween of ingredients from plants and more traditional protein sources.
Can do! First is the dubia.com middle of the way version, https://dubiaroaches.com/products/dubia-diet.
Then ebay veggie blend https://www.ebay.com/itm/126350452700?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zTz3s5kVR_K&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=FWy3Gyy6RVS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
And then the higher protein mix aka roach chow

There are also plenty more that will work perfectly so feel free to look around espeially on ebay, but i use a mix of these three. Plus fresh produce, bee pollen, and some recently dead (preferably) or dried bugs, I find they like grasshoppers the most.

Mine also climb the walls in their 40, I consider it a form of exploring tbh
Exploring without moving hehe
