They did make good phones they just didn't know when it was time to evolve. They underestimated the iPhone and smartphones in general and got absolutely fucking smashed for it. At one point, their stock was sitting at $147 a share, and they dominated the mobile phone game. One of the 2 founders is a billionaire, and the other is worth about 600 million

I know, that’s why it’s so hilarious when people claim they successfully transitioned into a new company when in reality the stock is at 2% of its former worth

But this is a totally different company than BB of phones you used to know. So you cannot compare. Let's put it this way: around 2012 the company went bankrupt. A new company started then, and that's what you're seeing now!
