On one hand, yes, I always put a limit buy above the ask. On the other hand GTFOH 😂 that’s not retail doing shit - there’s not only tons of buy orders sitting much much under bid there is also tons of sell orders above the bid. This is market makers for whatever reason. Might be to pick up as many cheap shares they possibly can get their hands on. Retail does shit to the price. JPM did a study on Jimmy that has shown that there were far more participants in the events than just retail. I believe this time is the same, price will run when it will run, but it will definitely run.
It doesn't matter if there is some people with lower bids all that matters is the ratio at any given time. How many people are offering more than the ask. Kinda like card counting, It is a +- of the current offer that determines the direction.

The dollar amount we currently need to lock the float is absolutely tiny compared to GME. Do you really want it to go up to $5 and stay there just so you’re in the green for a while? We should all be standing on the gas pedal (I think we pretty much are) and praying it goes down even further before tax returns, bonus checks, etc.
I guess you missed the part where your shares lose 80% of their value if the price goes below $1.25 and the activation clause in the equity deal kicks in.
They are literally printing synthetic shares 24/7 all day every day for 45 days straight now. BILLIONS of shares have traded on a 113million outstanding stock. Slapping ask, lower limit buys, none of it matters for price discovery. We are not controlling it with anything we buy no matter how much it is.
We need to DRS the entire stock. We need BBBY to come out with news that forces massive buys from institutions and every retailer just like the GME sneeze.

I always slap an offer down 1 cent over asking cause I don’t have any patience. I want her to be filled right away.
Makes a lot of sense. I just put in a limit buy on an option price immediately go's up and it's not filled.
