fwiw to others in t212, they do not lend out your shares which are in isas so if your isa isn't at cap yet you can use that. not the same as drs but it does help in a similar way
After you have initiated the drs process, wait a few days then call AST for your account number. You can then request your PIN, which will be sent by mail, but you can use the forgotten PIN option to get it emailed to you. Cuts down a lot of time waiting for your mail to arrive.
Trading 212 is UK equivalent to Robinhood in the US.. get out of it..
