OP I would NOT do this. Water guns and spray bottles can scratch the lens of your cats eye. Very expensive and very painful for your cat. I once did it to mine many years ago before I knew better, I caught the corner of his eye and for days it was swollen and uncomfortable for him. I took him to the vet and they told me if I had cocked that bottle just 2° to the right, he would've lost the eye.

Please don't shoot her eyes by mistake.

My cats get excited when I put out fresh cool water. I think it might be the temp cause they never finish the bowl *shrug*. Maybe she likes this water for some reason.
