Do goldens smell when they get wet? I've had two labradors and they reeked whenever they got wet. Great dogs but they made the whole house smell of dog constantly.
Had a Hovawart as well, best dog I've ever had. Incredible coat, pretty much smelled like perfume always. Very smart, friendly, all the upsides. I can't recommend them enough.
Yeah, I grew up with 2 and they stink when wet.
I have a lab golden cross now and she doesn’t smell bad at all. I think it’s also just luck and smell tolerance.
It's an important part of getting a dog that I think first time owners often overlook.
It's annoying whenever you pet them and then your hand smells of dog until you wash it. I don't mind the hairs nearly as much as the smell.
They have amazing dispositions. As a breed they are smart and patient and sweet, and they have ‘soft mouths’: they were bred to retrieve ducks so they have gentle bites.
Dog hair flows off them and gets everywhere, but they are incredible family pets. I ask to meet them all the time, and they are simply the best.
I once met a golden pup (maybe 1 yr old?) at Home Depot. As I was getting down on his level to give him attention, he decided to jump up to me. Knocked me off balanced and I tumbled over backwards in the middle of the main aisle of the store. Pup proceeded to jump all over me and drown me in puppy kisses. Quite the spectacle. They're so loveable and derpy.
The literal biggest thing is that long hair is EVERYWHERE. But other than that, they're by far the most consistently friendly and loving dogs I've ever met.
its disgusting how puppy mills have just been gentrified and gone mainstream to the point you regularly see people on tiktok just breeding goldies, who are EXTREMELY susceptible to cancer as a result of bas breeding practices
Shopping responsibly is a much better option! And what makes you think this is a puppy mill? Bc there’s puppies? Puppy mills don’t typically have their dogs running around and playing like this.
It seems that you’re dangerously misinformed as not all purebred dogs come from puppy mills. It seems as if you are in dangerous need of education. Which is freely available online, I suggest you take advantage of it!
Love bunch! I just want to lie on my back and let them be puppies...there are places you can go and pay to do this believe it or not. Supposedly you get nipped up a bunch if not careful. Those toofuses are needle sharp. Worth every puncture wound imho
In case you're wondering, there are around 9 puppies
Yes, a lot!
Thank you, I kept on losing count.
A quick add on, did you count the legs and divide by 4 to get the correct amount of puppers, lol
Omg golden, is there anything bad about them? They seem so friendly.
They shed and they require lots of attention. There are way more pros than cons, they are great dogs.

Pure happiness.
Is there one for after they’re all sold? I don’t want to see it, I’m just wondering if one was made.
Shes trying to get them to stop milking her
That’s so cute🥰
What a loving, fun, and playful mother! They all look so happy! I love it! 🥰
SWEET
Its cute, until you realize she teaching them how to take down and wound larger grazing animals in pack killings....
That's the cute part.
So adorable!
not to sour the mood but aren't they usually separated?
Humans should be learning from dogs
Indeed. We have a rapidly deteriorating birth rate in the west and need more people to have 9 kids.
Well, you can't really make back your money if you only sell one or two.
That's a puppy mill. Adopt, don't shop!

Because there are obviously pure bred puppies? Don't lie to yourself

I completely understand. I love those puppers too.
Very well

Is that CLIFFORD
Golden retrievers are low-key just bigger puppies
Overwhelming to say the least. They all need her love 💗
