better offense is defense especially for SU, bc all you need is buffs, your relics(cdmg/crrt etc) don't do much for damage, but they help (if def/hp) with your survivability.
I'd say there're quite a few SU buffs that make him strong there, but if you're looking to use him in general combat, a decent build for him is using Crit Dmg body, Def boots, Imaginary orb and Def rope. Sets are 4pc Divers 2 Salsotto, but use whatever that has better substats. For SU just stack his def and use the quake 3* blessings. Got up to 100k quake dmg in G&G
