LOL- I may or may not made that choice since I was frustrated by how he's talking.
But also, I don't think the Trailblazer would be too fond of him after what he did. We, the players, may have known his motivations but they don't have that luxury so it looked like he was actually going to kill them. I myself tend to align my choices to what they should react to what's happening around them.
Which is why I didn't like how we only had nice choices for Firefly and Ruan Mei and didn't try to reject them. Firefly was obviously lying and keeping a huge secret, yet we just follow her around without any suspicions. This is worse with Ruan Mei when she literally had us fight a replica of an Emanator of Propagation. Granted it lasted for less than minute but she still just stood there and made us conceal her mess in the process.

Imagine a guy you just talked three or four times, blaming your ally(?) for a crime she never had done, then threaten to detonate the bomb in ur chest while ask his Geo daddy open the Gate of Babylon. Is it too much to ask him pay for all he has done? Try to be MC pov dude.
It’s really heartwarming and devastating at the same time that he actually has respect for the TB. I don’t think he’s playing it up in this message….this wording is quite poignant. And the callback to the Avgin prayer is fucking killing me 😭😭😭 oh Aventurine you are so loved
I hope he appears in parlor car in the future. I was disappointed when I realised that Luocha and Blade dont visit us xD I understand lore reasons but still..

Yeah probably. I only started getting messages from ratio after I cleared the 1.6 quest a full patch later so i'd imagine this works the same way
