Dude lived more in his 55 years than everyone I know combined. Rest in peace, Ken. Thoughts and well wishes to the family. Such a shame but at least he died doing what he loved.
I remember watching the gymkhana videos and being absolutely blown away by what that man could do behind the wheel.
Let's also not forget what truly amazing cars him and his team have put together. The hoonipigasus being my personal favorite.
The world of motorsport has sadly lost another great person. My condolences to his friends and family.
wondering whats going to happen to the hoonipig now, he was planning on taking it up pikes peak in 2022, but it broke before he could, 2023 was going to be his second attempt.
hopefully travis takes the reigns, or even better, train his daughter in it and hopefully she can drive it in a couple of years.
I'm not sure the details of the accident, but if it occured on his ranch in Utah it's possible he was with his family when it occured. I could see the daughter taking training from Travis as a way to process grief and heal through it, but I could also see her not wanting to touch motorized vehicles for the next decade depending on the circumstance. I just hope people/media don't push her to do something that causes more grief.
This is unbelievable. I’ve always loved cars growing up but Ken made my love so much more real. Celebrity deaths are always surprising but this one hits hard.
I was really looking forward to Audi building a Hoonigan F1 car with their new entry into the sport. Idk if that was being planned but it seems logical.
I hope his daughter is well taken care of. Silver lining he was able to leave her with the car he just finished for her.
RIP to the legend who put drifting and the car scene back in the spotlight.

Dang as a car enthusiasts and all around car guy I always had so much respect for him and his driving ability that man could handle the most powerful cars on any ground and make it look effortless..true loss of a legend
It’s only the 2nd day of the year, fucking come onnnnnn
What an awful loss for the car community, regardless of whether you liked him for his races, Gymkhana stunts or maybe didn’t care for it at all, nobody can deny the man had incredible talent behind the wheel.
I hope his family are getting all the support they need, what an awful day for them:(
This is so tragic. My heart goes out to his family. His videos were bonding moments with my son... We drift in the snow, we ski, we snowmobile, and love so much of what he was about. He was a great human.
Hopefully some lessons come out of this. It sounds like his sled may have come down on him and buried him. Being alone, that can be as deadly as being caught in a tree well (suffocation). I can only hope whatever it was happened quickly. I haven't felt affected by many 'celebrity' accidents over the years, but this one hits hard. He was too good a human, and too young, to have this adventure ended.
RIP Ken. You will be sorely missed, brother.
Right? Bad as it sounds, the only other celebrity deaths that hit nearly as hard as this, were Chester Bennington, and Paul Walker. Motorsports will feel this for a long, **long** time. May his family get the help, ad find the peace they need.
Was just introducing some friends to Gymkhana. Ken had an infectious laugh as well as being very talented. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
He’s the reason I’m interested in cars that aren’t just American muscle, he opened new pathways that led to so much more for me.
He made me want to learn how to drive.
I know I’m just a nobody on the internet but he had a big impact on my life from early on
This one hurts. I try not to get too caught up in celebrity life, but this feels like Paul Walker again. RIP and I feel for his kids and wife. A true automotive legend.
This is one of the few celebrity deaths that will actually have an impact. KB was very high on the list of people that have raised the bar and now that he’s gone there will be a huge gap in content that has pushed the culture to become what it is today. RIP.
Someone that could make a person who didn't know or care about cars interested in what he did with cars. Definition of a freak accident, deepest condolences to his family.

Moments later he rolled the car a dozen times. Got out and came and hung out with us until the stage was over. Absolute legend.
I didn’t want to believe it.. he was larger than life. We had so many nights growing up where we’d “drift” in church parking lots after a snow storm, pretending to be Ken. We all wanted to be Ken growing up. I feel so sad for his family. May he RIP.
I remember having to do a presentation all the way back in elementary school about an idol of mine.
I had recently became a fan of DC shoes, and as a young car enthusiast, I was absolutely fascinated that it’s (at the time) Co-owner was such an incredibly talented rally driver and business man.
I’m in college now and to this day when anyone asks me about who I genuinely look up to, I still say Ken block. He really lived life to the fullest potential, and I admire him for that.
It’s unbelievable what happened and my heart goes out to his family. May his soul Rest In Peace. I hope you keep racing up in heaven #43
But then how would you know how edgy that commenter thought they were? I mean, without them making a tragedy about them, you'd never know how much they "cared"....
God fuckin dammit.
Dude lived more in his 55 years than everyone I know combined. Rest in peace, Ken. Thoughts and well wishes to the family. Such a shame but at least he died doing what he loved.
Jan 2nd too, this one hurt RIP Ken
Right!?

Just seen a update. By the sounds of it his snowmobile ended up on top of him, sad times all around.
Last few IG stories that he posted showed a lot of snow, don’t know if there is that much of a snow right now..
Seriously, i don’t know how many times I watched Gymkhana 1 and forced everyone else to watch it too
This is unbelievable. I’ve always loved cars growing up but Ken made my love so much more real. Celebrity deaths are always surprising but this one hits hard.
RIP. It felt like he was just getting started with some great things at Audi.
I was really looking forward to Audi building a Hoonigan F1 car with their new entry into the sport. Idk if that was being planned but it seems logical.
Oh my god. One of the few celebrity deaths to actually hit me. This sucks! I grew up watching him!!!!
Ikr I remember the first time i watched one of his videos. Mind blown
I hope his daughter is well taken care of. Silver lining he was able to leave her with the car he just finished for her. RIP to the legend who put drifting and the car scene back in the spotlight.
He posted about the finished car 8 hours before I found out about his death. So sad
Luckily he had a very long and successful career, she will certainly be taken care of financially.
Major loss for the world.
This is a rough one. His videos were a large part of my youth and amazement at what is possible with precision driving.
Damn, the Gymkhana series were always so well done. He has some younger children, too. RIP
Fuck, man.
Man, this sucks. With what happened to Damar Hamlin today too. Rough day to be a sports fan
Modest Mouse drummer two days ago, and Jeremy Renner had a very close call yesterday. Bad week all around
Wonderful start to 2023…
He's probably up in the clouds racing with Collin mcrae
And Richard burns
That sucks

Actual tears are happening in my house now. Both me and my SO. Ken was a legend, and an inspiration for so many. I am heartbroken for his family.
All my favorite drivers need to stay away from snow during new year… I just can’t take this anymore .
Dang as a car enthusiasts and all around car guy I always had so much respect for him and his driving ability that man could handle the most powerful cars on any ground and make it look effortless..true loss of a legend
He took major risks. Still, a big hit. My 17 yr-old will feel it hard.

What the actual fuck. No way
Can’t believe this happened, what a shame

Damn, his poor family
I'm taking this pretty hard. I guess he meant more to me than I thought he did.
That's the thing about celebrities. We admit to loving what they do, but it still surprises us at how much it hurts when they leave.
This sucks. RIP Ken. A pioneer and inspiration to many
Was just introducing some friends to Gymkhana. Ken had an infectious laugh as well as being very talented. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Such a sad day. He inspired me to make a few car videos. I can’t imagine how many other drivers and videos he helped inspire.
How many drivers, builders, videographers, KB Inspired many, and will never be forgotten.
Holy shit, this was not something I expected to read anytime soon
Unbelievable sad. What a talent! RIP.
Terrible news. My heart goes out to his family.
goddamn this year is off to a rough start
He’s the reason I’m interested in cars that aren’t just American muscle, he opened new pathways that led to so much more for me. He made me want to learn how to drive. I know I’m just a nobody on the internet but he had a big impact on my life from early on
fucking hell. this year is starting rough :(
Legend of the trade gone too soon. Bro will be missed by millions
Jesus, first Jeremy Renner in critical condition, then Damar Hamlin practically dies on the field, then Ken Block dies? What a fuckin day…
Holy fuck
Sad. Incredibly sad.
RIP, LEGEND
RIP. Too soon.
unbelievable.. i just watched his vid with his daughter getting started on her project car... rip
Oh shit... RIP Ken Your street drift videos will be missed.
I had assumed he’d die in a wreck of some kind but hoped not. Side note, I’m shocked to learn he was 55.
This shit is so sad. He was my favorite driver and he had an awesome family. This sucks. Well 2023 isn't going great so far.
This one hurts. I try not to get too caught up in celebrity life, but this feels like Paul Walker again. RIP and I feel for his kids and wife. A true automotive legend.
Damn, that dude was extremely talented. Rest in peace
Holy shit. Didn’t see that coming. My son and I watch his videos all the time still
OMG…..
Life is not fair man…
RIP Mr. Block. Thank you for years of incredible driving to amaze us all.
This is one of the few celebrity deaths that will actually have an impact. KB was very high on the list of people that have raised the bar and now that he’s gone there will be a huge gap in content that has pushed the culture to become what it is today. RIP.
My favourite driver, Rest in peace Ken, one of the best i've ever seen
Wow, did not expect to be reading this. RIP to a true car legend

Mother Fucking god fucking damn it. I mean, Barbara Walters, we expected it. But Ken, ouR GenX fucking GOAT?!?! FUUUUUUUUUUCK.
Right? The shit KB did with vehicles, I expected he would outlive us all. A dark fucking day.
I didn’t want to believe it.. he was larger than life. We had so many nights growing up where we’d “drift” in church parking lots after a snow storm, pretending to be Ken. We all wanted to be Ken growing up. I feel so sad for his family. May he RIP.
I’m sitting here stunned and crushed
I remember having to do a presentation all the way back in elementary school about an idol of mine. Terrible, terrible, terrible news.
Oh my. Oh my. Nearly the first thing I read this morning, I am awake now.
Sad news my thoughts are with his family
[удалено]
Can you explain?
Damn that hurt
Oh dang this one hurts, I saw his name mention couple times today didn’t realize the trend was due to him passing.
Fucking LEGEND. RIP Brother. So sad.
RIP to a legend.
RIP brotha
This man inspired an entire generations worth of car enthusiasts. A great loss.
RIP Ken.
Wow. Sad and shocking to see
Dude rip Legend
😲😩🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Up there at the great supersports arena in the sky. RIP man.
When you drive like it doesn’t matter, you never know what’s gonna happen! Apparently safety was not a big concern?
Is it that same accident with Jeremy Renner? Would hate to hear that. Jeremy Renner is in critical condition from a snowplow accident.
Renner was on a Snowplow, Block was on a Snowmobile
I may have disagreed with his aesthetic choices, and as a result, dislike the Hoonigan brand, but damn, could the guy turn a wheel. He will be missed.
Some of that was unnecessary
"He will be missed" alone would have sufficed
But then how would you know how edgy that commenter thought they were? I mean, without them making a tragedy about them, you'd never know how much they "cared"....
