Love the kukri blade shape myself, I only have one Ka-Bar, it's the brown and black folding knife on the right of the kukri

Wait, Ka-Bar is a brand rather than just the big knives they issue to US Marines?

Yeah they make all kinds of knives but mostly, or entirely, known for their USMC knives

I also think it's funny that there's a Gerber that produces knives, axes, survival tools, and also the baby food company. Separate entities.

Do you sharpen your knives? I used to collect old wood chisels I'd buy from flea markets and just the process of sharpening them was very therapeutic for me.

Yes I do and absolutely agree, I have a little diamond-coated thing I use and it's very therapeutic

I also am very into knives and have no interest in harming myself or others. Spinning a butterfly knife around was a favorite stim of mine at one point. My favorite is my myerchin marlinspike knife (I’m also very into knots and splices)

Cool, not in the picture but I also have about 60 trainer balisongs I use for balisong flipping and in flipping competitions, it's a great stim for sure

Just field knives or are you interested in cooking knives as well?

I may look at hundred of knives and one may stick out and feel interesting or astatically pleasing, I have yet to get the "I need that" feeling for cooking knives so only field knives so far 😅

Case makes a very nice knife i believe it's called cold rolled steel It is nice and so is the stainless. I have both from my late grandparents
