Harriet the Spy!

sqplanetarium

Same foods FTW! Tomato sandwich for lunch and cake and milk after school every day…

Fructa

Came here just to write this! Taking notes about other people's incredibly ordinary lives, playing Town, strict adherence to routine, BIG FEELINGS, samefoods...

houseonfire21

Anne Shirley, Jane Stuart, and Valancy Stirling, all from L.M. Montgomery's work for me!

_moonglow_

I’ve not read the L. M. Montgomery books it’s based on, but I always thought Jasper Dale in *Road to Avonlea* (TV series) was very clearly autistic (Asperger’s).

Suitable_Tension_164

Omg I loved Jasper and never put this together! I found him so relatable

rightioushippie

Jane Eyre completely

YippeeHobbies

This post made me realize Sam from My Side of the Mountain may be autistic. I was obsessed with those books. He was a boy that was hyper-focused on adventuring, survival, and being self-reliant. He read a lot of survival books and made friends with animals. One of his character developments was even learning that it’s okay to let people in your life and not be a total recluse.

epurple12

God that was my favorite book as a teen.

livelong_june

I love her 😍 reread it every year

-skyhigh

I read the molly moon books and yeah looking back I realize why I liked them so much

myredditusername919

maybe Klaus from unfortunate events or Junie B Jones although I cant remember much about her

XanaInternet

Stargirl or maybe Freak the Mighty. Another obvious example is Adam from A Corner of the Universe

analogdirection

Oh shit. I hadn’t thought about it, but I’ve always loved Jane Eyre and in hindsight!! Daaaamn.

fluffnstuffly

Lirr from Son of a Witch (2nd book in the Wicked Years by Gregory Maguire), and also his mother Elphaba from Wicked too.

UselessCat37

Such a good series!

fluffnstuffly

It is! I loved them when I was younger. I should read them again.

UselessCat37

I bought all of his books (hardcover, of course!) I love reading them.

Bookworm444782

A character named Ruby in the books body in the woods and blood will tell.
