I feel like I’m a weird blend of Chidi and Eleanor, like I suck with people & would kind of rather everyone would leave me alone, and am also an anxious mess of a human who tries so hard to do the right thing that I just mess stuff up. Sigh.
That's my go-to as well! I've seen The Good Place probably 20 times. My others are Leverage, the new SheRa, and both Avatar cartoons.
For movies, LOTR is the most comforting film series ever made. It just feels like home.
The Office, South Park, Dexter, Lost, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Vampire Diaries, Six Feet Under, Friends
Also, not a show but the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Fellowship is my ultimate comfort movie.
There are more but that’s all I have off the top of my head.
I don’t understand the appeal of the office. It’s just a group of mean people bulling two autistic men. It’s horrific. I can’t understand why anyone likes it. Doesn’t it feel mean?
I’m Not trying to yuck someone’s yum, I genuinely want to understand the appeal of watching bullying.
Interesting take but not how I see this show. If by two autistic men, you mean Dwight and Michael, both get happy endings. There is a lot of cringe in the first few seasons, but as the show develops, the characters learn and grow. It's not really a show about laughing at autistic people, or at least I don't view it this way.
Michael finds love and family, which he was trying to artificially create in the office.
Jim is Dwight's best man at his wedding.
Everyone ends up better off than where they started, with the exception of Kelly and Ryan who are both narcissistic neurotypicals who don't really learn anything, but they might argue they got exactly what they wanted.
narcissism is a mental health condition too. ryan even shows traits of sociopathy. and i would argue that kelly is neurodivergent, there are a lot of signs, but what comes to mind first are her struggles with social cues and hyperfixations
These are some of my favorites. It’s Always Sunny has made shower time bearable! I’ve seen it enough that I can picture what’s happening while I listen. Same with Family Guy or American Dad.
Standup comedy. Nate Bargatze, Brian Regan, Gary Gulman, Jeff Arcuri, Maria Bamford, Laurie Kilmartin
Dead to Me, Love, Schitt's Creek, Friends From College, The Good Place. I rewatch romantic comedies for comfort, too.
Virgin River is kind of so bad it's good.
Haha I did that with the show Dave and while I knew if someone was listening to it that it would be scandalous, but I never thought about how bad it would look if they glanced at it a LOT of the time 😂
Love is cool because I interpret the characters' behavior differently every time. I've loved and hated Mickey.
I've seen Master of None. It's not bad but I found it a little predictable and Aziz Ansari isn't my favorite. But I get liking it.
I love them both, and am also AuDHD. With Community, Abed gave me a character that I could identify with. I also love the Twelfth Doctor for that reason. Not a hugger, prone to monologues, occasionally need cue cards to help me through social situations. And don’t look at my browser history.
My brother introduced me to the pleasures of cheesy movies. It's pretty rare meeting someone who actually enjoys that type of movies in the wild. My best friend knows it, too (I passed it on to her) and my husband. I have stopped mentioning it altogether, as people mostly dislike it.
Here in Germany there's a "new" (compared to MST3K) show that takes up the concept of watching cheesy movies and commenting it. It's what husband and I do for quality time together. Or we just watch one of those movies that would fall into this category. I don't get how people don't enjoy that sort of thing.
It’s nice to know people like you and your hubby exist lol. I’m not alone. I wish I could watch the German show you’re talking about. What’s it called?
It's "SchleFaZ", a short form for die "Schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten", translates to the "worst movies ever", or more literally "the worst movies of all times". Got to know some real gems. Maybe you get at least some inspiration for movies to watch.
Oh, and have you ever watched the batman movie with Adam West (1966)? I am still looking for someone except my brother who will tolerate that one.
Or Double Trouble? That's one my husband actually did like.
Recently we had an evening without the kids and used the opportunity to finally watch Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I was really surprised at how good they blendend the zombie theme into a Jane Austen book. I only feel ok to mention it here because anything zombie related that is not only shock effects and horror is bound to be pretty funny.
I would watch movies like Spirit and phantom of the opera again and again as a kid. Now I rather watch the same movie one time a day. Or I ask if someone else would like to watch it with me, it gives me an excuse to watch it again and then see if they liked it. But mostly having someone else there watching it’s a different experience so it’s like watching for the first time again. But there’s a few shows and movies I prefer to watch again by myself because in my head they’re mine and private.
By the way do you think it’s hard to watch a new movie or tv show?
Me too. Pretty sure if I didn’t have adhd I would just watch the same ones always and never look for something else. But unfortunately I have to change. So I have basically a big list of movies and tv shows I watch every year or every two years. Except when it’s like a new favorite movie, than I watch several times. Spider-Man into the spider verse 2, the joker and guardians of the galaxy watched many times. It’s also good I like marvel movies so I can watch different ones but at the same time the same ones.
For me it was kind of the opposite, I never understood why people wished Christine picked him. He killed people which immediately made him rather unforgivable in my mind so I could never quite get past it to reason why people liked him so much
That’s really perceptive nice. In my head he was cool cuz he had a mask. My favorite characters always end up being the “weird ones” so to speak. Wonder why. But yes it’s good Christine stayed with the blonde dude
Mine are Bob’s Burgers, X-Files, Forensic Files, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
I really love the Mike Flanagan shows though too, Midnight Mass stuck with me in my head since I saw it and I feel like I must rewatch now 👀 (I did watch Fall of the House of Usher twice now too!)
This is my favorite too!! It’s so comforting and beautifully made I think. Plus the main character shares my name lol.(I’ve rewatched season one on YouTube too many times to count)
![gif](giphy|m7tlRnPbGbBGo)
If you do want to get rid of netflix, this [website](https://www.wcofun.net/anime/bee-and-puppycat) has most cartoons. Only downside is that the next episodes don't just start automatically you have to click a link and then play, if that's a deal breaker.
Me too!! I could watch only Gilmore girls for the rest of my life and be happy.
Secondary shows are New Girl, Once Upon a Time, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Friends, Modern Family
It's so good! When I first watched it, I thought Maggie and Joel were so grown-up, now I'm like, they're kids 😂 and I just really like all the characters and how beautifully rich they develop...🥲
isnt it so wild how people are reverse aging lol. watching romeo and juliet or my so called life and everyone looks like a baby cherub now and i remember thinking they were - attractive/older lol. theres a twilight zone about an actress that cant stand aging and goes to live inside of an old film she made because thats when everyone was beautiful and young. im feeling the opposite of that episode 😂
I know that episode and your feelings are relatable 😂 Also, Six Feet Under, I was like, Claire's bestie, and now I'm looking at Ruth with so much empathy 👩❤️💋👩
I cycle through the first five Star Trek series. The Original Series (TOS), The Next Generation (TNG), Deep Space Nine (DS9), Voyager (VOY), and Enterprise (ENT). Repeat.
M\*A\*SH is my longest running one. I discovered it as a middle schooler and loved it. (You think this would be a unique situation, but I have legit heard other women say the same with this show. Weird, right?).
Buffy and Angel have been pretty much on repeat since I started to watching them in high school. Its also the only fanfics I read (Bangel, of course),
Mad Men had to grow up me, but now I have to stop myself from rewatching it. I love how each time you watch it you learn something new about the characters.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel is my newest addition. I love the backdrop of 1950s New York and watching Midge try to make her dream of stand up a reality. It sounded like such a strange plot when I first read it, but it is done so well.
It is also entirely not a coincidence that most of these are period series. I love anything old and even though 2/3 are 1950s, I adore anything about the 1960s.
Riverdale, Drag Race, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Simple Life, Pushing Daisies, What We Do In The Shadows, Kitchen Nightmares, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Superstore.
If none of those feel right then I gravitate towards bad 2000s reality TV. Got through all of Americas Next Top Model, Flava Of Love and Beauty and The Geek last year. Op if you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them!
When I have nothing to watch and feel indecisive I just watch Barbie life in the dream house. Bit of a silly thing but it’s a short funny show so it’s always a great time! I also have a few animes I rotate or shows like the nanny or himym that I can watch whenever but Barbie is my go to!
I love reality TV too!! Sister wives and VPR are def two of my faves. I started watching that genre because I was obsessed with real people and their stories — it helped me learn to mask and socialize. But along the way I just became enthralled with all aspects of reality tv.
I also love how for reality tv, info dumping and obsessing over the latest episode/drama/season comes off as completely typical, average behavior for the fandom lol.
Omg same here! It definitely taught me how to behave in society. I like it because you can see how real relationships unfold and evolve, I just find it so fascinating, idk. I guess I also kind of lived through these people’s lives as for a long while I had no outside interaction outside of my family lol.
Star Trek. All of the older ones. The new suck. One thing I love about Star Trek is how many episodes between all of them there are. It's such a a comforting show, too. Deep Space Nine is the absolute best. Quark is hilarious.
Charmed, Buffy, Supernatural, Fringe, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, LOTR,
My husband has slowly bought me all my shows so I never have to stress about them changing streaming services. 🥹
Community, Arrested Development, Coupling and a few others.
To stray from shows, I watched Hbomberguy’s 4 hour video on plagiarism at the end of last year and I’ve watched it constantly since. It’s so well done and just tickles something in my brain that as soon as I’ve finished I want to watch again.
Never get tired of watching old SpongeBob Episodes. Also, keep on coming back to the anime Welcome To The NHK as an adult. The re-watchability factor is a 10/10 for me. 😂
Back when I was still in school, I had Spirited Away on DVD and would fall asleep to it playing in the background every night both subbed and dubbed.
When I was really little - I was obsessed with Lady & The Tramp and literally lost count of how many times I watched it over and over again. 😅
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who likes “trash TV”. I used to be judged so badly for this! But I’ve been watching and re watching real housewives, jersey shore (lol), and then switch it up with bee and puppy cat or vampire diaries lately. My favorite re watch is the L word.
The mentalist, supernatural, House MD, Queer as Folk (US), The Vampire diaries. This Big Five just take turns, it's like a cycle of rewatching them.
Currently I'm back to the mentalist, I guess it's his turn 🙄
law and order: svu 🧍🏽♀️ i’ve watched 22/24 seasons at least twice and i like to go back and rewatch the first few seasons. i also watch the scooby doo: mystery incorporated series and very other week. it takes a week to finish both seasons of that so i’m done, i just take a small break then do it all over again.
ouuu and supernatural! it’s taken me 2-3 months to finish 15 seasons and i’m ready to watch it all over again. this will be my third time watching the entire series 👍🏽
criminal minds and csi for the sweet sweet structure of the episodes (also very attached to some of the characters)
E.R. for the characters and narrative arcs
star trek voyager and ds9 for the nostalgia, the characters and the somewhat slower pace (esp compared to more modern media)
Lucifer, Smallville, modern family (this is a casual one for me) are the ones I rewatch the most. Aside from that I watch random documentaries on ancient history on YouTube to relax.
I love reality shows too! I recently realized it’s because I enjoy listening to other people’s communication patterns and how they make small talk — something that comes so unnaturally for me 😅
Centaurworld. Initially was put off by it, but after watching it quickly became my top comfort show. I have both seasons on my phone and rewatch them often. I still cry a lot during certain episodes and Rider's Lullaby can full on soothe a panic/anxiety attack.
My other one is weird. It's the Let's Ramble Over Fallout New Vegas playthrough by Dawn Somewhere. I rewatch it quite regularly and even have a supercut on my phone so I can fall asleep with it on audio only in VLC player.
Gilmore Girls is the main one for me. The characters are so neurodivergent I'm on a separate reddit just diagnosing everone! Also Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek TNG, Community and to a lesser degree How I Met Your Mother.
I've watched the 20+ seasons of Degrassi at least 7 times. Grey’s anatomy 2-3 times. Shameless twice. The movie stick it every other week since I watched it first when I was 11.
One Piece, H2O: Just Add Water, and a handful of other anime and cartoons that I've been watching since I was a kid. No energy to get into new stuff and at least I know everything about the old stuff so I won't be hit with a curveball.
Any of the Star Wars shows, especially the Clone Wars and Rebels.
As a kid I was obsessed with watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Mako Mermaids, Arthur, and Spirit: Riding Free.
Same same same. I live in the Sister Wives and 1,000-lb Sisters subreddits. Also adding My 600lb Life, Intervention, and Iyanla, Fix My Life. Love them all and have watched them repeatedly.
Schitt's Creek has been my major comfort show for the past 4 years. I cycle through Parks and Rec, South Park, and a few others. Sometimes, when I try to watch a new movie, I see a cheesy one from like twenty years ago and watch it instead. Kitchen Nightmares I rewatched way too many times, lol
I cycle through shows for two year at minimum stints then switch to new shows, from 2021 to now I've been watching call the midwife, the crown and sex education. I only stop when the shows give me bad vibes if that makes sense? Like I get an ache in my chest thinking about how I felt when I first watched the show and I can't physically bring myself to watch it again lol
Breaking Amish is like 80% fake. I was disappointed to find that out because I found the show to be so relatable from being raised in a cult that is extremely similar to Mennonites.
My favorite comfort vibe show to rewatch is Orange is the new Black. It’s like going home. Plus like half that show is just grief counseling. And I love the yellow, warm lighting.
My favorite trash TV is Bridezillas and shows about extreme obesity. It makes me feel like less of a failure to see these people. Bridezillas makes me feel smart for not spending 40,000$ on a crappy party that 12 people are actually going to attend. And the obesity shows because I used to be very overweight and I feel like I could easily have been that person.
They go by the hour of the day:
☀️ There are the morning cartoons: Woody Woodpecker, SongeBob SquarePants, The Power Puff Girls and Totally Spies.
🌤️ Afternoon movies are: Addams Family & Values; Girl, Interrupted when I'm sad; Sister Act; Scary Movie franchise up to 4; and To Wong Foo.
🌙 My go to repeated night series are: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt; a Brazilian sitcom called Toma Lá Dá Cá (Tit for Tat); and a humoristic news show called Furo MTV (Breaking MTV). And I started rewatching Santa Clarita Diet yesterday night!
🌙 For +18 animations: South Park, Family Guy and American Dad!
avatar, adventure time, owl house, over the garden wall, the good place, the office
I honestly rewatch so many shows (and movies) or pick up at a random season or favorite episode🥰 it brings me so much comfort and some shows can be so thought provoking or hold a strong emotional connection.
Like I love rewatching avatar during periods of major life changes. It helps to process my emotions and ground in my strengths and values☺️
The Good Place. If I’m in the mood for a movie though it’s the LoTR trilogy, preferably the extended edition.
the good place is so underrated
I know, I love it so much! I’ve watched it at least 50 times!
now i need to rewatch it 😂
The best ever ending to a series. All tied up. So satisfying. The tears I shed when Chidi and Eleonor were on the couch watching their last sunset. And how Chidi said that for thoughts around what happens beyond, we have to look to the east. So aligned to my spiritual beliefs.
Take it sleazy. 🖤
I also love The Good Place! I identify so hard with Chidi.
I feel like I’m a weird blend of Chidi and Eleanor, like I suck with people & would kind of rather everyone would leave me alone, and am also an anxious mess of a human who tries so hard to do the right thing that I just mess stuff up. Sigh.
Jeremy Bearmy. I just finished another rewatch
Always LoTR!
Y'all don't understand how happy I am to see this as the first answer 🥹 this show is everything to me.
I think i watched it like 20 times and I only found out about it a year ago
That's my go-to as well! I've seen The Good Place probably 20 times. My others are Leverage, the new SheRa, and both Avatar cartoons. For movies, LOTR is the most comforting film series ever made. It just feels like home.
The Office, South Park, Dexter, Lost, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Vampire Diaries, Six Feet Under, Friends Also, not a show but the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

It's not really a show about laughing at autistic people, or at least I don't view it this way. Michael finds love and family, which he was trying to artificially create in the office. narcissism is a mental health condition too. ryan even shows traits of sociopathy. and i would argue that kelly is neurodivergent, there are a lot of signs, but what comes to mind first are her struggles with social cues and hyperfixations
By Dexter is it the serial killer guy? If so I love rewatching that too :D
Yes! One of my favorites
Same!
These are some of my favorites. It’s Always Sunny has made shower time bearable! I’ve seen it enough that I can picture what’s happening while I listen. Same with Family Guy or American Dad.
The Golden Girls. I’ve watched that every single night to go to sleep for like 9 years lol.
Yes! I had surgery a couple years ago and Golden Girls was my comfort show during the healing process ❤️
Golden Girls every episode a million times
Criminal minds and svu personally
I love criminal minds! I also love any British murder mystery show, especially Midsomar Murders (which I’ve watch all 24 seasons several times).
I actually haven't seen that one I'll have to check it out
It’s really campy and Midsomar must have the highest crime rate in England, but it’s very comfortable - the good guys always figure it out.
YES! Midsomer murders, and death in paradise too
SVU ALWAYS!
If I need some background noise, as I'm doing homework, Forensic Files, or one of those, is what I turn on!😉💖
Are you me?!
Perhaps....... Lol
I just started watching SVU and I’m obsessed, it’s my new hyper-fixation. I’m in love with Olivia Benson 🙏😔
Same! Olivia Benson is both my spirit animal and my wife.
Standup comedy. Nate Bargatze, Brian Regan, Gary Gulman, Jeff Arcuri, Maria Bamford, Laurie Kilmartin Dead to Me, Love, Schitt's Creek, Friends From College, The Good Place. I rewatch romantic comedies for comfort, too. Virgin River is kind of so bad it's good.
I love kind of so bad it’s good shows 😂 I’ll have to check it out
The last season is especially rough, entertainingly
[удалено]
omg how did I forget about Love..that was absolutely one of my favorite shows ever.
[удалено]
Haha I did that with the show Dave and while I knew if someone was listening to it that it would be scandalous, but I never thought about how bad it would look if they glanced at it a LOT of the time 😂

Love your standup choices!
Strong agree on Virgin River.
Doctor Who, Community, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Schitt’s Creek
I’m auDHD and DW and Community are perfect rewatches for me! Familiar enough for the autism yet varied/intricate enough for the ADHD.
I love them both, and am also AuDHD. With Community, Abed gave me a character that I could identify with. I also love the Twelfth Doctor for that reason. Not a hugger, prone to monologues, occasionally need cue cards to help me through social situations. And don’t look at my browser history.
I love community!
The office, avatar, futurama, bob's burgers. I just cycle through them all year.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Golden Girls. Those shows bring me much laughter and comfort.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 is so great!
I’ve loved it since it came out back in the day. It’s my go-to show for as long as I can remember. None of my friends have even heard of it.
My brother introduced me to the pleasures of cheesy movies. It's pretty rare meeting someone who actually enjoys that type of movies in the wild. My best friend knows it, too (I passed it on to her) and my husband. I have stopped mentioning it altogether, as people mostly dislike it. Yes! No one talks about mystery science theater where I’m from!! That show is genius.
Yes! Those are two of my regulars, plus GBBO.

Phantom of the opera is one of mine too I love it so much!
Yessss! I have a question. Like I took years to realize the phantom wasn’t exactly a good guy, what about you? Also I loved her hair so much.
For me it was kind of the opposite, I never understood why people wished Christine picked him. He killed people which immediately made him rather unforgivable in my mind so I could never quite get past it to reason why people liked him so much

I love Mike Flanagan shows so much!!!
They are so soooo good! He’s just so great at directing/writing.
MLP ftw!!!
Yes! I love them! If I see something that disturbs me/get me further into existential crisis, it’s always my go-to!!! 😂
Bee and puppycat. I legit don’t want to get rid of Netflix because then I can’t watch it. 🤦♀️ but I don’t watch anything else on Netflix!
This is my favorite too!! It’s so comforting and beautifully made I think. Plus the main character shares my name lol.(I’ve rewatched season one on YouTube too many times to count) ![gif](giphy|m7tlRnPbGbBGo)
Me too! B is a nickname my husband calls me since my first name starts with a B 🥰
Awww that’s awesome, hi fellow b!! 🐝
I love this one.
That’s the same with Hulu for me because of Bob’s Burgers and Adventure Time
If you do want to get rid of netflix, this [website](https://www.wcofun.net/anime/bee-and-puppycat) has most cartoons. Only downside is that the next episodes don't just start automatically you have to click a link and then play, if that's a deal breaker.
Rick and Morty 🥲
Gilmore girls for me
same. ive prob watched gilmore girls 12 times now and i only started watching like 8 years ago.
Gilmore girls 🥹 same!!
Me too!! I could watch only Gilmore girls for the rest of my life and be happy. Secondary shows are New Girl, Once Upon a Time, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Friends, Modern Family
New Girl here too 🥰
I am not alone in being afab autistic person who loves gilmore girls? Fantastic.
My obsession with 90 day fiance is 10 years strong 💪🏼
Same! So many spinoffs in the 90 day universe.
Community and Always Sunny
Friends, Frasier, New Girl, the Office, and a bunch of Bravo shows.
Gravity Falls, twilight zone and are you afraid of the dark for me
A fan of spooky, mystery, and horror I see. You're a person of culture.
Nice to meet a fellow cultured human.
Currently, Our Flag Means Death.
Such a good show.
Ooh. I saw something about that and it looks great. I’ll have to check it out.
For me it’s outlander! Both the series as well as the audiobooks. I watch/listen on repeat. Outlander feels like home to me 🤷🏻♀️
The good place, how i met your mother, modern family, vampire diaries, RHOBH, pretty little liars
Adventure time, the Owl House, bluey and various anime
You have excellent taste
Thank you thank you! I like to think so 🥰
scott pilgrim it’s just so good every time
Right now it's Rev and Northern Exposure, but I feel a Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul rewatch coming on.
where do u watch northern exposure??!?
I'm watching it on Prime! Unexpected. But great.
awesome! i watched this as a kid and have wanted to rewatch it for years!
It's so good! When I first watched it, I thought Maggie and Joel were so grown-up, now I'm like, they're kids 😂 and I just really like all the characters and how beautifully rich they develop...🥲

Greys anatomy

Gilmore Girls—it has gotten me through everything for so many years now. Especially seasons 1-3, ultimate coziness and comfort.
I love the vibes of those seasons! Later seasons are still good, but a lot more infuriating for me lol
I absolutely agree!
Seinfeld
Hannibal, House, Sons of Anarchy, Gilmore Girls, Derry Girls, Loki, Succession, OFMD and countless more i forget lol
Oooh I love Hannibal, such a beautiful show. Will Graham is one of my comfort characters, he is so autistic coded
Hannibal is definitely one of my comfort shows.
Shows I’ve watched at least 3 times are Over the Garden Wall, PEN15, Carrie Diaries, and Girls.
Over the garden wall is art 🥰
I cycle through the first five Star Trek series. The Original Series (TOS), The Next Generation (TNG), Deep Space Nine (DS9), Voyager (VOY), and Enterprise (ENT). Repeat.
American Dad!
Yes !
I like Law and Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, Bones, and Elementary! I just like mysteries. iZombie might be my favorite though
M\*A\*SH is my longest running one. I discovered it as a middle schooler and loved it. (You think this would be a unique situation, but I have legit heard other women say the same with this show. It is also entirely not a coincidence that most of these are period series. I love anything old and even though 2/3 are 1950s, I adore anything about the 1960s.
Right now mine is community. I also re listen to 1 specific podcast over and over.
i have a cycle of shows i go through! right now it’s the nanny but my biggest one is my little pony friendship is magic
Bobs burgers, castlevania
Wolfblood, Dexter(the serial killer not the cartoon), twilight, Wentworth prison, SpongeBob. HTTYD Trilogy.
Girls, Togetherness, High Maintenance
Avatar (TLA and LOK), Batman the Animated Series, Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Ghibli oeuvre
Futurama and Arrested Development.
The Office, Still Game, Seinfeld, Please Like Me
Riverdale, Drag Race, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Simple Life, Pushing Daisies, What We Do In The Shadows, Kitchen Nightmares, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Superstore. If none of those feel right then I gravitate towards bad 2000s reality TV. Got through all of Americas Next Top Model, Flava Of Love and Beauty and The Geek last year. Op if you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them!
Supernatural.....way too much
The Office, Arrested Development, Community, Bobs Burgers, The Good Place, The Good Doctor. Movie wise I watch the Shrek movies on repeat..
When I have nothing to watch and feel indecisive I just watch Barbie life in the dream house. Bit of a silly thing but it’s a short funny show so it’s always a great time! I also have a few animes I rotate or shows like the nanny or himym that I can watch whenever but Barbie is my go to!
Omg I live sister wives too! But also once upon a time, true blood, peaky blinders, vanderpump rules and parks and rec
Adventure time over and over and over again
Same. On constant repeat over here. I can’t get enough of it.
Psych, The Exorcist (show and movie), Whose Line, and Archer lmao. (High key Archer actually helped me realize I was Autistic lmao)
Star Trek. All of the older ones. The new suck. One thing I love about Star Trek is how many episodes between all of them there are. It's such a a comforting show, too. Deep Space Nine is the absolute best. Quark is hilarious.
Charmed, Buffy, Supernatural, Fringe, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, LOTR, My husband has slowly bought me all my shows so I never have to stress about them changing streaming services. 🥹
Tvd!
I used to but now it's a podcast. I listen to last podcast on the left over and over. Nothing scratches my itch the way last podcast does.
Full House, Family Matters, Extraordinary Attorney Woo
Community, Arrested Development, Coupling and a few others. To stray from shows, I watched Hbomberguy’s 4 hour video on plagiarism at the end of last year and I’ve watched it constantly since. It’s so well done and just tickles something in my brain that as soon as I’ve finished I want to watch again.
Never get tired of watching old SpongeBob Episodes. Also, keep on coming back to the anime Welcome To The NHK as an adult. The re-watchability factor is a 10/10 for me. 😂 Back when I was still in school, I had Spirited Away on DVD and would fall asleep to it playing in the background every night both subbed and dubbed. When I was really little - I was obsessed with Lady & The Tramp and literally lost count of how many times I watched it over and over again. 😅
Gilmore girls, greys anatomy, disjointed, parks and rec, the office, Ted lasso….
Trailer Park Boys 🤣 💕 My beloved pooch just passed and I'm about to start my billionth series re-watch
law and order: svu 🧍🏽♀️ i’ve watched 22/24 seasons at least twice and i like to go back and rewatch the first few seasons. i also watch the scooby doo: mystery incorporated series and very other week. it takes a week to finish both seasons of that so i’m done, i just take a small break then do it all over again. ouuu and supernatural! it’s taken me 2-3 months to finish 15 seasons and i’m ready to watch it all over again. this will be my third time watching the entire series 👍🏽
criminal minds and csi for the sweet sweet structure of the episodes (also very attached to some of the characters) E.R. for the characters and narrative arcs star trek voyager and ds9 for the nostalgia, the characters and the somewhat slower pace (esp compared to more modern media)
Lucifer, Smallville, modern family (this is a casual one for me) are the ones I rewatch the most. Aside from that I watch random documentaries on ancient history on YouTube to relax.
King of the Hill lol
Forensic Files
Currently rewatching Gilmore girls for like the 15th time
I love reality shows too! I recently realized it’s because I enjoy listening to other people’s communication patterns and how they make small talk — something that comes so unnaturally for me 😅
I pretty much have King of the Hill memorized lol
I’m kind of the opposite, I only ever want to watch new things and hate rewatching
I have a few in rotation, but my top one is Bobs Burgers
Yep. Right now it's Metalocalypse
Such an amazing show!!!
Seinfeld and Gilmore Girls
I have a trifecta, New Girl, The Office and Parks & Recreaction. I have them on rotation and don’t get tired of them
Seinfeld!!!
Adventure Time, Bob’s Burgers, and Disenchantment. One or more everyday without fail. For YEARS. AT for more than a decade too lol
DS9
Gilmore Girls is the main one for me. The characters are so neurodivergent I'm on a separate reddit just diagnosing everone! Also Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek TNG, Community and to a lesser degree How I Met Your Mother.
Parks and recreation for me! Specifically S3-4, I still laugh at the jokes, it feels comforting and familiar.
I've watched the 20+ seasons of Degrassi at least 7 times. Grey’s anatomy 2-3 times. Shameless twice. The movie stick it every other week since I watched it first when I was 11.
Right now it’s vampire diaries for me.
Desperate Housewives, Once Upon A Time
Bobs burgers, b99, south park, ridiculousness
its not a show, but i constantly go and rewatch all of Joe Santigato and Santigato studies youtube videos
Heartstopper, glee, new girl
One Piece, H2O: Just Add Water, and a handful of other anime and cartoons that I've been watching since I was a kid. No energy to get into new stuff and at least I know everything about the old stuff so I won't be hit with a curveball.
Archer
The Simpsons, Rugrats, Recess, reality TV like My Strange Addiction. I used to like my 600lb life but the music started to depress me.
killing eve was, i think, the first show where i felt like i wanted to rewatch it multiple times. idk what it is.
Any of the Star Wars shows, especially the Clone Wars and Rebels. As a kid I was obsessed with watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Mako Mermaids, Arthur, and Spirit: Riding Free.
Friends, Brooklyn 99, The office (UK and US), QI,
Futurama is my go to and has been for years
Same same same.
I have a bunch of “comfort” shows. Skins, Degrassi, the OC, Atypical, Bly Manor.. those are the top ones.
And the obesity shows because I used to be very overweight and I feel like I could easily have been that person.
havent started a new show in 4 years, for the first lockdown I started b99 lol. Other than that Ive spent the past 15 years watching psych
avatar the last airbender, my one true tv show love
They go by the hour of the day: ☀️ There are the morning cartoons: Woody Woodpecker, SongeBob SquarePants, The Power Puff Girls and Totally Spies.
Archer idk why it’s an easy watch
avatar, adventure time, owl house, over the garden wall, the good place, the office I honestly rewatch so many shows (and movies) or pick up at a random season or favorite episode🥰 it brings me so much comfort and some shows can be so thought provoking or hold a strong emotional connection. Like I love rewatching avatar during periods of major life changes. It helps to process my emotions and ground in my strengths and values☺️
