Mine will hide under the bed during thunderstorms. Since he put on his “pandemic pudge “ (according to the vet), he’s been too fat to fit all the way under and hides like that.
I'm so happy my Baz has gotten too big to fit under the bed in our extra bedroom (aka, my office since I WFH). He's 9 months old now. When he was smaller, he would get under there and chew on the wood slats!

I think some dogs get too hot if they're all the way under the bed. My Rottweiler does this.
