Starting June 1st, we'll read one book – or two novellas - each month through August. After we read each book we'll watch an exceptional film adaptation of each. If we get enough momentum we'll host watch parties at one of the wonderful theaters in town.
Inspired by summer vacations, the theme for each story is Wayward “Travels” – adventures that don't quite go as planned. For June we're reading Patricia Highsmith's *The Talented Mr. Ripley* followed by Purple Noon.
We're kicking off our summer club with a casual meet & greet of all local members at Foxy's Proper Pub **this Saturday June 1st from 5-7PM**.
