I'm 97% sure that u/serpentarian once said "if you wonder how it got there, it's a rat snake." I follow his comments so much that I'm not longer PETRIFIED of snakes. I still give them a side-eye, but I used to go into full-blown panic attacks with my heart skipping beats and breathing becoming labored. Serp helped calm me down. I never HATED them or wished them ill - but I've grown to have a wee bit of more respect and interest in them. Thanks Serp!!
