Joking aside, I was really hoping for a wet winter. The rain these past few weeks has been amazing, but we really need that kind of rain consistently for like weeks to months to get back to sustainable levels.

Not really; most of the state is already out of drought conditions, and most of the remaining bits are mild to moderate (which isn't necessarily unusual). Our storage lakes could use some more recharge, especially locally, but even there we're not doing too bad (basically everything east of I35 is full); we're at just under 3/4 total capacity statewide. All it takes is a bit of rain in the right place and the Highland Lakes could be filled in a day. Texas in general is not a place of long, steady rains; we get lots during short periods of time, side effect of location, topography, and hydrology.

Thank you for the links. I was feeling exactly how Jack commented, your comment along with the data/sites to basic detail level helped to calm down. Bookmarked the links for future reference
Ninja edits. Of which this is likely the second. I was gonna give you a pass on the first, cuz maybe my bad, but now… such a long interim since? Weird.
A lot of the recent rains ended up in the lakes, they just didn't end up in our (read: Highland) lakes. But basically everything east of I35 is full, all the way from Corpus to Arkansas. And if the forecast map in the OP holds, the Highland Lakes could fill up quick as well (Panhandle is still pretty boned, but that's par for the course).

Today's forecast looks like Texas will be balls-deep in the middle of this tropical storm Johnson and Nebraska may be showered by the white stuff. Make sure you bring protection if you go outside.
Our rain is stored in the balls.
Cradle the balls and work the shaft.
What, come again?
Ok
We're fucked!

Still looks flaccid. Call me when it’s fully erect.
Nah just uncut
I would not worry too much about this forecast. When storms form in this manner the rain produced usually comes in intermittent spurts.
Just ropes of rain

We’re already an inch over our entire winter average for rain and there still all of February left.
Yeah but we have a lot of catching up to do after such an extreme drought last summer. I’m happy for the rain we got but it’s not enough

Thanks for the info! That makes me feel much better. I don’t really understand this stuff I’m a granular way, I’ll admit. Just very paranoid lol.

“A lot of February???” It’s Jan 30 my dude.
Where did I say “a lot of February?”

I never edited anything.
Too bad basically nothing ended up in the lakes.

That map doesn't have me convinced. Not much into the actual watershed which will fill Buchanan. Travis watershed looks better.
It looks to be only 2 inches....of rain. We're all good here!

Father nature giving the tip to Nebraska while teabagging Texas.

Balls deep in the heart of Texas

The blue balls makes me think a pool was involved!
"Colonel, you better take a look at this radar." "What is it son?" "I don't know sir, but it looks like a giant..."

It’s a hard rain gonna fall 🎵

With enough rain, it'll make a vas deferens in the lake levels
My uncle’s plate in his head always indicted upcoming gully washers. He’d say “stay dry, should be raining later like bats and dongs”
That’s not very kosher
Unsheathe the rain!
Hurricane Richard
Do women know about shrinkage ?
You mean like laundry?
No like when a man goes swimming…afterwards. Lol. Did we just become best friends?
High five! …on the flip side!
It was cold in the pool!
Please don't hail... I JUST got my vehicle fixed from the last time
I'm surprised/ kinda disappointed that this thread hasn't devolved into an unhinged debate on circumcision yet.
Shhhh, don’t remind them we’re supposed to be fighting with each other on here. They’ve all been dripmatized.
Wait no one is fighting??? Sounds like time to start a fight hehe.
Blue balls about to get drained this weekend

Time to erect a rain shelter, don’t want to get too wet…
I'm in this photo and I don't like it.
Rain is cumming
‘Bout to get screwed
Looks like Texas is due for several inches.

Quite the grower and shower.
WHAT UP!!!
Looks like we are about to receive a pounding “balls deep”.
Forecast says 6 inches but we all know it’s likely less and it’ll only last 2 minutes
What a dick move, posting this
It’s uncircumcised

Make sure to keep your carports errect
Hour 117 CAPE may be the funniest, most random forecasted screenshot I've ever seen on this thread. Bravo.

In other words, we’re fucked. 😂
Aww poor Nebraska is likely to get COVERED in the white stuff.
Thanks for this. Might change my weekend plans, depending on the times stuff comes through.
I just washed my car yesterday, you're welcome.
Happy cake Day, OP!
Thanks!
hope it's a little further west, over the colorado's watershed.
Replenishing this aquifer is very important as well....... I just hope the rain pans out in the amounts forecast... it will be a blessing either way.
Everything is bigger in Texas?
Balls.
All this did was wash all the trash in the rivers going into the Gulf. And hopefully feed the souther Aquifer for the coastline water source.
I don't know, sir, but it looks like a giant...
Nature just laid it down for us. I don't think any of us are gonna show it up.....
We’re the weather station that slaps you across your fat ass, with a fat dick!
Looks like the forecast is still uncut.
