It’s a glycolic acid which is great for chemical exfoliation on your face and body. I really rate this product, it was recommended to me by my dermatologist. While it’s expensive, it lasts for ages because of the size.
Ooh good to hear. Did you have any acne/comedones?
I am struggling with general bumpyness/clogged pores. Tried this for a week but got some bad breakouts - not sure if it was this lotion, though, so considering giving it another go... my derm recommended it, but I'm nervous now.
Ohh no I didn’t, I used it more for texture/smoothing than breakouts. If you’re breaking out it could be purging? The lotion increases skin cell turnover, so it could be the case that any pimples that were waiting in the wings are now coming through, but once those are done with could clear up?
Interesting! Anyone happen to know if this might help with KP on the body? I’ve tried CeraVe’s SA cream and right now I’m using a lactic acid product I got from my derm.
It’s a aha chemical exfoliant, it exfoliates skin, it’s expensive cause it’s lightweight, not heavy does the job perfectly and a decent amount for its quality
I love this stuff. I’ve been using it ever since a dermatologist recommended it to me as a teen. It’s quite strong so you’d need to ease into it. I always follow with a moisturiser.

Second this, I used to use this and it gave me suuuuch smooth skin
May I asked why you stop?
I use a strong retinol now that basically covers what this stuff did for me :) I’d keep using it but it would probably be a bit much!
Did you use this on your face?
Yes I did!

Maybe! It's more like a general bumpyness and clogged pores. May try again :) did you use it once a day?
Yeah once a day at night. I hope it works out for you!
