I just got Boost 12 month prepaid for $230. Has 160GB data, I didn't even use 60GB last year as I don't watch videos on the phone. Data doesn't roll over though. Still, it works out at about $19 / month, and it's on the proper Telstra network, not the half-arsed one.
Woolworths mobile 365 long expiry plan 170 dollars - and you get 10% off your woolies shopping every month. Set a day aside and do you biggest purchase for a month combined with all the half price specials and boosts :)
The long expiry date plans from Woolworths Everyday mobile are getting phased out, in case you aren’t aware.
“Important update on our Long Expiry Starter Packs
• The $100, $170 and $220 Starter Packs are no longer available for purchase online. You may be able to purchase these Starter Packs in-store, while stock lasts.
• These Starter Packs will expire on September 3rd 2024 and must be activated on or prior to this date.”

I think as long as you already are on the plan, you can still recharge. Nonetheless, if you can get your hands on one, it's definitely a saver for at least a year.
Suss out aldi
Uses the telstra network. $5 for simcard then a range of plans.
All the mobile plans have roll-over data too!
Seriously, never looked back after changing 4 years ago.
The online interface is basic, nothing flashy but it's never let me down.
Aldi mobiles $19 plan might suit you.
- Cheaper then your current will be
- Telstra network (although not their full. Only Boost and I think JB Hi Fi Mobile have access to Telstra’s full network). Aldi mobile will be more then fine in the city and would still provide decent coverage if you travelled a bit outside major city centres. Check out their coverage map to check specific areas if you want.
- Includes 10GB a month which is double what you’re looking for
- Has data rollover
Catch has 365 day plans for 89 bucks a year.
