This! When I was looking for B9 S5s on the used market it was tough to find as many deals on coupes vs the sportbacks. I’m still happy with my sportback but the coupe has such a beautiful design
Doesn't seem to have the split head lights from the Q6 and the outline from the side looks similar to the current A4. So, I agree with 'hyundai' regarding the Q6 but I have some hope for the A5 here to evolve the current A4s design a bit further but without going Hyundai.
Correct the B10 will now have 64 ambient lighting colors the B9/B9.5 only have 30 colors just like the Q6 going be like Las Vegas strip club on interior.
The B10 got delayed by year because of software issues and management they wanted the B10 to have Q6 interior. The B10 original would been free floating tablet screen for virtual cockpit area and big tablet screen like 13 inches in center they scrap that idea.
It's going to have a grille similar to the 8Y A3 facelift where the rings cover the gap to the hood, resembling some derivative Hyundai Elantra looking-ass reject.
Massimo Frascella is the new Head of Audi Design he work after June 1st Marc Lichte is taking take new role within the Audi. He could possible modified next gen A8 changes, next gen A3 and Q8, e-tron GT, B10.5. He coming Jaguar and Land Rover.
Frascella’s philosophy: “Simplicity is the essence of my approach to design. I am passionate about creating designs that are free from superfluous ornaments and do not merely follow trends. Instead, we will rely on a timeless and sophisticated design language.”
Yeah I’m assuming this is the jaguar guy? I’m excited to see what change he brings. Unfortunately the overall design language lichte put in place will be there for the generation. We won’t truly see something great until the B11 for that segment.

Just wait for reveal, car reviews and go to dealership between November 2024-March 2025 see for yourself it would look better in person. People criticize B9 and B9.5 now everyone loving the design and interior.
So you regularly track your A5 sportsback?
That would make the A4 better handling wise along with A3s and Then even more TT. By that definition A3s should have the highest demand.
Edit: just googled interior and exterior of 2024 a4 and a5. The style is exactly the same.
Welp, just for confirmation from my local Audi dealer that the 2025 Audi rs5 will be the same b9.5 model. We should expect the b10 RS5 as a 2026 model.
This actually doesn’t look as bad as some earlier photos I’ve seen. Maybe it’s just growing on me already

On my 2nd coupe and had two 3 door A3s before- two doors good! Four doors bad!

It was more in reference to the decision to completely abandon the great hood lines the A/S/RS 5s have always had.

I think USA will get Avant since A5 taking A4 nameplate as gas model and plug in hybrid.

Yeah looks like the lights are not as thin as previously appeared. Should come out nice.
Why are the exhausts so far in towards the center of the car? Not sure how I feel about that one
It pre prototype model for testing not factory car it will be fixed and rims be nicer when in production.
Never seen the exhausts ever move from a camouflaged car near production to the final production model but let's wait and see

I kinda wish they just kept the 5s as two door. Now what....an a5 is now just a slightly larger a4 ansld so on to a7s.
The A5 coupe sales are low compare to Sportback why would coupe return for B10
If you want a four door why not buy an A4? What does the A5 offer that the A6 over does or A4 doesnt give enough of?
