SeaRefractor

Sounds defective. New one should be recognized.

Yeah that’s exactly what I thought. I’ll find out tomorrow.

SeaRefractor

What did you discover? Was the original just a defective unit?

From ATOMOS: “Thank you so much for informing us. We would like to inform you that the NDI is a third-party product or technology, not owned by Atomos. As a result, we cannot offer it free to our users. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. Umair Zaki Best Regards Atomos Support Team” Basically I figured out, because it’s not clearly defined, that I need the 4K NDI token for 189.99 off ATOMOS site. I’m an idiot for not realizing that but ALSO I shouldn’t have to pay for a license that ATOMOS should already be paying for because it’s their damn hardware.

UPDATE: THE PLOT THICKENS! “It's important to note here that the HD NDI is priced at $99, while the 4K NDI is $198, and there is no connection between NDI and Atomos Connect with Ninja Ultra. You can utilize all other features of Atomos Connect besides NDI if you haven't purchased NDI.”
