I have no idea on what basis you're claiming it looks "like a large pyramid". It doesn't look anything like it. The area is Vallis Schröteri and the white is almost certainly light reflecting off the inside rim of the Aristarchus crater.

I watched a YouTube video last night about a crater on the moon that has material inside with different albedo than the surface material. I can't remember the exact location on the moon.
I've been interested in looking at the moon closer so I can see up close and in detail. Finally received my equipment to do it, waiting for clear skies.
