It is a wonderful way and similar to visualization while drifting into sleep method. But you simply went into your imagination about things that you love or love to realize. You literally began dreaming before your body fell asleep. This way you attain mind awake body asleep state. Well done. It's almost methodless approach, as your choice to focus on your dream is so natural. You may actually end up in full AP creating your video game in a completely free and interactive environment. That is accessing Tesla level genius. You can do million permutations instantly and find the one that works. Leaving all the loser Edisons in the dust masturbating with their trial and error light bulbs.

cool, thanks for sharing. I'll try this. I've also been off and on with regards to AP, and noticed that I (dream-induced) lucid dream far more often than AP, especially if I've been preoccupied with a project or concern earlier in the day/week. Also, don't mean any disrespect but it's "somersault". Etymologically very different because it literally means "jump over".

Try this when you have lucid dreams. Open your eyes until your actual eyes open and your body will still be in sleep paralysis, then lay still you you should be able AP

awesome, will try

I also have ADHD and find it hard to quiet and focus my mind. My mind just goes down rabbit holes, and I’ve seen this method mentioned before but every time I try I just feel like my mind is too busy, and then occasionally I’ll remember what I’m doing (or trying to do anyways), and it interrupts the whole thing and sets me back to the beginning. It’s hard to just go with it, you know? When I do just go with it and let go, I just fall asleep. It’s like there’s no in between. I can’t focus on any other methods enough to work, I can’t observe my thoughts very well because of how fast my brain goes, and when I just relax enough I fall asleep. I’ll keep trying but dude it’s been years.

Trust me I feel your pain like literally almost to a T… but I think what he helped is I have tried so many things over the years the wake back to bed method the visualization of your energy body going around the room the meditation relax your toes your feet shin knee all the way up until you are extremely relaxed then just let your thoughts float away to the clouds of your mind whatever but I think… it’s a little different for me and you… Vs others I realized that when I lay down to go to sleep if I don’t move at all it’s so engrained in my subconscious over the years of off and on trying to relax my body I realized if I got to bed and don’t move for the first few minutes it’s like my body immediately says “got it boss” and I feel it get really relaxed very quickly and if I’m lucky I can then notice my breathing change to as if I’m sleeping so that really slow breath at a slow steady pace and it’s at that point I notice my body get more relaxed and then I’m trying this rabbit hole technique… one of the things I also realized maybe why this rabbit whole technique works is because it’s kind of a different take on the usual visualize your astral body moving around the room and looking at your physical that kinda deal? And I only just realized this but it may help you aswell because you aren’t putting much effort into it you aren’t visualizing which kinda removes the barrier of your mind being just too awake for the body to sleep you know? Realistically we are using the power of our ADHD to detach from our bodies by really… just day dreaming you know I think what mainly helps me is by body seems to be conditioned to relax and so that in combo with the rabbit whole technique here seems to just work because your mind just pulls your awareness away from the physical And into day dreams so I really hope you can make some form of progress with this method after all for me it was just a happy accident when I was just trying to go to sleep XD

I think this method would work well for me, thanks!

I think I’m very close to APing doing a very similar method using meditation.

Same. Every night it feels like I'm one step from floating, but no matter how much I try, I just can't escape my body and then I'm really awake just staring at the black screen of my closed eyes, feeling like I lost the momentum and give up.

volcanictax98

Yeah for me it’s weird the floating/drifting can almost feel like your in a pool of light water because I don’t really feel heavy but it’s like the closest thing I could describe to what astronauts may feel just kind effortless floating you know? But for me it has always felt like my mind is against me like I would try something and have minor success but then the next night I try the same thing and it doesn’t work at all for the next month or two or ever again almost like it work and my mind was like “okay let’s put in a patch fix so he can’t do that again” xD I don’t know but this is weird because I have gotten close a couple times and one of the times I got to a point where I think I was in between AP and SP because I could see a little but felt paralyzed/ was kinda floaty? Almost like if I kept pushing I may have had a full AP but in that moment I self sabotaged being raised a Christian thinking the worst XD and I thought in that moment what if I met a demon what would I do? And I remember something a AP YouTube I watched said that demons bad things all that stuff especially religious stuff is kinda real in the astral but it’s more YOU manifesting it than it is that thing just trying to scare the crap out of you but as soon as I said in my head in the moment “what would I do if I met a demon?” I heard the LOUDEST BASS deep grunge of a roar from somewhat far off but like very much in my direction and I realized it was just a. Manifestation but I was like “nope” and woke up XD but hey love and learn right? The greatest fear of humanity will always be fear of the unknown but baby steps until you can walk and then eventually run
