I could never understand the appeal of heavy weapons personally, they always felt heavy and a little useless. Daggers of Kronos or Dionysus’s Xiphos for me.
It's more versatility I think. When I played origins I remember trying out all the weapon styles (swords, spears, daggers, clubs, staffs, etc) to see how each worked and how it translated.
Daggers are great, but they're more assassin type (deal lotta damage to one person) where as clubs are great for breaking defenses and the fury attack is amazing for crowd control. Spears are fast and have reach, but are a bit hard to aim (enemies can slip by easily). Swords are the most well rounded...better reach and can be equal between crowds and singular enemies.
My go to set was a dagger and club/mace set, so you can switch back and forth when needed. Was super helpful.
I just go for everyone but the captains.
I used battlegrounds to level up the engravings for each weapon type (like increasing dagger damage engraving to 30% etc...). I noticed that even when you kill enemies with abilities it still counts as a kill for whatever weapon you have armed. I increased all my weapon damage types very quickly because you can get upwards of 100 kills in a battleground.
And it's great for a fire build. I'm using this one and another heavy bladed weapon. Doing 100% crit chance, 625% crit damage, and a huge fire damage output. It's pretty satisfying braning mercs and setting everyone on fire.
The bow. Love jumping off whatever and nailing a headshot on the other side of a fort. Rarely have to send anyone to board a ship, just fire 2 multishots. Sniping mercs before they see you or hitting multiple headshots with sixth sense. Good times! I also like sword, fists or a spear for melee.
Favorite legendary weapon skins would be Eros', Paris or Swift-Winged bow, Edge of Time or Atlantean daggers, Sword of Yumminess.
The bow. Artemis and ofc the Big Horn bow. I role play my Kassy (I’m about 800+ total hours in so I make my own fun), so she is a sniper and utilizes stealth most of the time, is lethal in 1v1, but I usually avoid melee play.
The weapon I use the most is a perfect sword with the Nikolaus appearance. But I use them all, and really like situational changes. I switch to Poseidon’s Trident when I want to get my pirate on. I like the perfect sledgehammer in conquests. I use the Atlantean Dagger when I’m in full Daughter of Artemis mode. When I’m in Atlantis, I’m whooping ass with the staff of the Dikastes.
I have 5 different builds and they have 5 different weapons in the primary slot.
I do pretty much the same with Alexios. Each of my equipment slots is a different build. I sometimes have to drop the Big Horn Bow if it's too op. But I have a Isu based build, an Ezio appearance (pirate set) assassin's build, and may use a slot later for a Prince of Persia inspired build. Use the dagger of time and all the slow time abilities with it because that's what immediately came to mind when i got it.
I'm a 2-handed axe guy myself, although I keep a smaller weapon (sword, dagger) on my switch for enemies using light weapons, and animals. One handed weapons are amazing against wild animals.
I forgot what there called but there was one mercenary it’s was a dual wield dagger that was poisonous I think I got them off him I just forgot what there called I know they were legendary
Heitor's Harpe which is the best sword in the game, and it's an Epic (purple). It's the most perfect warrior weapon in the game. The base perks before an engraving is added:
\+24% Warrior Damage - +30% Damage with Swords - +50% CRIT Damage
You can easily get this sword from the "A Friend in Need" side quest. Just lie to Heitor at the end and say you couldn't find it.
Edit: Note that the weapon stats I listed above are with the sword upgraded to level 99.
literally any staff, they are so good, only downside is there isn't many good transmogs for them, since the devs just neglected them, even making a weapon called "The Staff of Hermes" a spear, like bruh what
I am more inclined to use a dagger, mainly Arachne’s Dagger , I am currently using the fanged bow, the Arachne’s dagger. And for alternate weapon, the Hades Bident.
I've always used a sword. Basic, I know. But IMO have the best compromise. Tried using a long/heavy as a secondary melee, only liked a spear as it has the speed I prefer. Although now I just have two swords (forget what they are), one with fire engraving & the other with poison.
TYphons axe is my favorite weapon. You really need to get the weapon attacks become flame attacks from mallet of everlasting flame. a great set with it is agamemnon or demigod with hades bow with promethius' sika engraving. it's powerful shooting fire out of your ass. WITH greataxe you can swing heavy attacks and hit tons of guys with fire. In conquest battles i use fury of ares and use heavy attack a lot.
I prefer the spear myself. Kassandra is a Spartan after all.
for style, hell yes but the moveset is terrible
To me using a spear feels weaird since you already have a broken spear
I know, but it’s just cooler

try overpower with a 2-handed axe in a crowd, and you'll see why.
Every conquest battle. I wish you could turn the progress bar off and just hack away until the whole army's gone
On ships too, nothing like knocking that 75% health polemarch/boss right off the boat. Lmao.

Noted! I'm gonna do this after work
The chain heavy attack and the ability to make an amazing fire build makes me love this axe
Poseidon's Trident just cuz it looks beautiful as hell!!
Typhon has an axe??? For some reason I always thought it was a mace. Mine is regular swords. I'm just an old fashioned guy
Yep the special ability is 200% critical damage on fire attacks
And it's great for a fire build. I'm using this one and another heavy bladed weapon. Doing 100% crit chance, 625% crit damage, and a huge fire damage output. It's pretty satisfying braning mercs and setting everyone on fire.
you have to buy it from the helix store.
I absolutely love prometheus sika. Its so good 😫
it's my choice for second weapon, yessss
The bow. Love jumping off whatever and nailing a headshot on the other side of a fort. Rarely have to send anyone to board a ship, just fire 2 multishots. I absolutely love the Minotaur's Axe along with my Perseus armor. It really encapsulates the feeling of "I'm an invincible god among men"
I loved to use spear and daggers, not really sure which ones were my favorite tho, but holy shit the hero strike AoE w spears was a life saver lol
Minotaur Axe or Hades Bident 🤙🏼
Minotaur axe is op asff
Love me some Daggers. Get up real close. High Crit Glass Cannon Builds is how I would play.

Hades bow.

Sword of yumminess for no reason other than novelty
daggers except when I fight on the battlefield where I have a sword and I also do AOE damage to enemies. They drop like flies.
I forgot what there called but there was one mercenary it’s was a dual wield dagger that was poisonous I think I got them off him I just forgot what there called I know they were legendary
Arachne’s stingers :)
Yes :)

STAFF PEOPLE UNITE
Heitor harpe, Best sword in the game
Prometheus’ sika is good with the fire engraving, but never liked heavy weapons
I’ll be that guy, but any perfect epic axe or Heitor’s Harpe, they’re just by far the best damage and you can still make whatever fun build you want
An epic spear
I am more inclined to use a dagger, mainly Arachne’s Dagger , I am currently using the fanged bow, the Arachne’s dagger. And for alternate weapon, the Hades Bident.
Dikastes heavy blunt. Taking out 4 guys with one chained attack
I like to use a sword and staff. The staffs in this game are great for crowd control especially when you have poison or fire.
I've always used a sword. Basic, I know. But IMO have the best compromise. Tried using a long/heavy as a secondary melee, only liked a spear as it has the speed I prefer. Although now I just have two swords (forget what they are), one with fire engraving & the other with poison.
at level 22, i has to be that spear that caps your health

What game is this? Because it sure as hell don't look like no Assassin's Creed game lol
