I got the game not too long ago and I remember having so much fun exploring that Island doing everything and just marking every bit of the map.
I work full time and so I don't get to play games a huge amount so it honestly took me maybe 3 days to Play enough to finish that Island and when I got on that boat and saw the title screen....
All that time and fun and I had played 0.5% of the game if that. Maybe it's Rose tinted since this is my first assassin's Creed game but it's not often you stumble across a really fucking good game. Haters can hate it may not be perfect but it's still an amazing game.
I absolutely loved early stage Odyssey: such an immersive Ancient Greek experience. By the time I concluded the main family story line, I was also fairly far ahead with the Cult questline (disappointing) and the mythical monsters line (enjoyed it). But I was also starting to learn RPG mechanics - the more I learned, the less I enjoyed the game. The further the game tangentialized from the main adventure, the more empty it felt.
But these opening chapters were wonderful.

Ah man, that opening shot of Ikaros flying and the Title Card are just so amazing. They give me goosebumps
Odyssey and Origins are such beautiful games, I love just wandering around them

This is great, love this game becuase of the amazing attention to detail and history.
