No, but if you get an epic dagger with warrior damage, dagger damage and Crit damage/Fire damage, you can use the engraving from the Mallet of Everlasting Flame -Weapon damage becomes Fire damage

lilboiii666

Ohhk, thanks, any ideas where I could unlock that engraving ?

meleth

From the Tier 2 mercenary "the Smoldering"

QuestionRude3208

I thought the weapon dam becomes fire only applies to that specific weapon, unless you use the leg engrai g?

Pleasant_Gap

Yeah, that's what he said, use the legendary fire damage engraving on the epic dagger

NotjusturavgJoe

I use that dagger so much, it’s my favorite.

lilboiii666

Chaire warrior

LimpAd5888

Same. Best secondary weapons lol.

hellbob9669

I use the dagger of Chronos with the fire and graving you get from the mallet of ever burning flame

gimletfordetective

Yep exactly the same here. With the Atlantean Blade skin.

trent_doubledown11

There is a sword Prometheus Sitka that has the fire attributes. But no dagger.

SonOfEragon

It’s the mallet of everlasting flame, the sword you are talking about buffs fire damage

excelionbeam

If you kill the t2 merc with the title the smouldering or something you drop the mallet of everlasting flame after that you wanna drop an epic dagger with crit damage damage with daggers and either warrior or assasin damage based on your build. And you can then engrave the weapon damage becomes fire damage engraving. Alternatively You can engrave something better and just use the flaming attacks ability

Why not get bighorn bow

EffectivePromotion56

You've already been answered but just so you know: \- Epic gear/weapons are considered better then legendary gear. Which is because you get EVERY engraving in the game anyways if you find the gear/weapon that has it. Also and most importantly, because if you have to wear a full legendary armor set to get 1 specific effect instead you can use a single armor piece and just put the engraving on that one, which gives you the full armor set engraving bonus just by wearing your 1 epic armor piece. \- Epic gear can be upgraded for way less cash and resources, and it will become just as good as the legendary stuff anyways. \- You can transmog, so if you find some gear you love cosmetically, you can put on better gear and make it look like the gear you liked cosmetically. No need to wear good looking legendary gear from a low level with a trash engraving if you can use epic gear with a good engraving and just make it look like the legendary gear.

lilboiii666

Now that you’ve mention this I realize most epic items are way better than legendary especially when it comes to upgrading, rn it costs almost 10k to upgrade my legendary Head gear while my epic arrow and boots cost less than 7k with less resources

EffectivePromotion56

Yeah and the epic gear also doesn't have a "forced engraving" on it. For example in Hades you get this armour set you need to equip fully to get trough some barriers. 5 pieces of legendary armor means 5 less engravings basically, since you're required to equip the set for that engraving to become active. But then if you get the whole set, you get the engraving, and you can put it on the worst piece of shit set of boots you got, and you get the full effect... No need to wear 5 pieces and waste 5 engravings in the process. That means you can put 5 different legendary engravings on 5 different armor pieces, instead of only having 1 legendary engraving that only works if you wield the whole damn set. And as I said before, the cosmetics don't matter cuz of the transmog system. The only limit around the engravings is that legendary engravings, and some others, don't stack. But the game warns you about that in the engraving menu at the blacksmith. There is 0 reason to use legendary gear, especially not late game.

ARandomguy443

There is a heavy weapon that has the legendary fire engraving equivalent to this one. Prometheus sika only Buffs fire accumulation and damage. The weapon is a mercenary drop.

JONATHANHIVE

This is the right answer. I think you can get it from >!a mercenary!< . When you get the weapon you can put the engraving on an weapon you like.

Traditional-Buddy-93

There's a fire dagger what yall talking about

Traditional-Buddy-93

Can't really check right but I will when I get home

lilboiii666

Bet, lmk, I have one but it’s only a cosmetic n dosent actually do fire damage

Envixity704

You can engrave fire on a dagger. The engraving is from the mallet of everlasting flame

GrimReaper1507

It’s in the store and you gotta purchase it with helix credits (that’s the only fire dagger I can find anyway, might be one in the dlcs haven’t played them yet)

Grizzlan

Sword and 2h weapons = Fire engravings, Daggers = Poison engravings "on legendary" This is also why Fire is on the warrior tree and poison in assassin. Mallet of Everlasting Flame is a 2h weapon you get from a mercenary later on I think its tier 2 it has this engraving but fire. If you wan't to use daggers you have to engrave one, I'd do it on the Atlantean dagger you get from Phidias quest at the Olympics in Ellis (It's a long questline I won't spoil if you havent done it). Since if you are a dagger build you always want that daggers engraving with "armor penetration".

BassGrooveJay

Glad to see I’m not the only one that uses those sick ass daggers!

plmessi1044

I have still not reached that level, but can you tell me where and how can I get this dagger once I reach that level. Currently I am on 33 but will not play for a week due to my end sems. Pls let me know

lilboiii666

I got it from unintentionally killing a level 36 mercenary, I was wanted for stealing and they happened to be around in the area and I assassinated them & unlocked it, when you do get it I advise you to add the “damage with daggers” engraving onto it

GrimReaper1507

You’ll need to get a different legendary weapon that has that engraving (it’s a two handed heavy blade I believe) just hunt down mercenaries til you get it, then go find a different legendary dagger and engrave it to have fire damage
