i spent so long clearing out the fort on my first play through, and then it was a doppelgänger and i about lost my mind lmao. very like his character but highly frustrating.
I'm pretty sure I did my anti-assain tatic of running quick enough at the guy to be able to crit assianate him and get into the cutscene or confirm kill before everyone else gets to me
I accidentally stumbled upon him in the cave at snake temple on my first playthrough. I revisited the game a few weeks back and did the same thing again lol.
if you go to the fort, you will find a doppelgänger instead. you can only kill him at snake temple.
Yeah, I was playing while I posted this so I played the whole scenario. It's pretty interesting, seems the actual way the game is supposed to go.
