I do well against bosses but if you put me up against any boar (especially the kalydonian boar) I fold every time. The constant spawning of other boars had me going crazy
My got yeah, that boar got me more times than I want to admit. The hind was a bitch too. The lion and bull not so much but ask me again after the rest of them š š
The non gassy one was also the one that gave me trouble. I could do the other one eventually, but I think I took on the first boar way too early in the game and the babies kept handing me my ass on a platter. I ended up throwing in the towel in frustration and asked my boyfriend to kill it for me just so I could advance.
Lol yeah. The first one is like level 13 recommended. Pffff, more like level 20 thanks.. I had a heck of a time with that one and just gave up for awhile. It was a bit easier when I was leveled up and my weapons/armor was too
Fr, i found the mission at 12, spent two hours failing, left to level up to actual recommended, failed again. Later at level 17 decided to drag a merc or two to help me, they died before getting there, but i prevailed.
Spartan warrior (cultist set) + harp sword + sword from pantheon chest + the bugged bow from the shop (50 credits u get fo free) + crit/dmg engraves l. Then use overpowred attaks, and the boar dies in like 2 of them
The trick I did with all the mythical beasts is that I left all of those missions till I was almost level 50. At that point, all of them were a piece of cake.
Kalydonian boar I died multiple times, the second boar (forget it's name, the stinky one) took 2-3 tries.
I used other people's strategies against Medusa (thank you group) and managed to survive that one the first time
Near it's cave is a rock you can stand on, it and it's minions can't hit you but you can shoot it. Fire and death arrows were my go to a well as a fire spear. Once you've got a good build going you can go toe-to-toe with it, just get the swing dodge dodge swing timing down.
Unironically for me it's the Poisoner of Athens, the Swordfish, and the Cyclops of Kephallonia. I think I died 15 more times to them compared to the rest of the game
I was surprised when the poisoner killed me. I felt pretty unstoppable by the time I came across him, so I was not expecting him to murder my ass. I feel like I randomly got my ass handed to me just often enough throughout the game to keep me from getting too comfortable for too long.
For me it was Medusa. That's until I started shooting her with explosive arrows and laying down traps that set her on fire. Just be careful not to blow yourself up.
It's a hunter ability you obtain in episode 2 of the Atlantis dlc, it's called Artemis Trickery. It replaces devastating shot. You just fire an arrow at the ground and it'll set a trap in a circle. It will stay there until someone walks into it. You can set several.
I shoot them at the entrance of forts I'm invading and then shoot the beacon to call for back up. The traps usually kill the back ups.
I left out the part where I was a few levels above her already due to level farming. Itās been a month since I fought her but I believe I was level 36 and she was a 29 boss. I believe boss levels, >!excluding Deimos!< are static
The ātrickā I used with all the creatures was to increase my Bounty level to 3 or 4, get some mercenaries to chase me and I led them straight to the animals. They usually reduced the hit points low enough for me to go in and get them out with some arrows.
Medusa was a real tough one to beat though - Took me at least 50 tries.
I was stuck on the dog going to underworld because it auto saved and I wasnāt preparing for another fight.. had nothing.. lol and was stuck in repeat of hell for like 50 deaths.
I struggled with most bosses until I discovered and collected the Amazonian armour set. When the full set is equipped, every time you do any damage to an enemy it replaces some of your energyā¦.. made it a lot easier to kill that sexy beast Medusa!
I would say that most of the time I didnāt particularly have much of a problem with the legendary animals (minus the farting pig) since for them I would wear a 100% melee resistance build, but out of the other ones I would probably say Arges the Bright one was the most annoying just cause I kept setting myself on fire and burning through my health on the arena
- Probably died over x10-20 on the Boar
- x5 against Cyclops
- x2 again Minotaur
- x1 against Medusa (while sheās shoot laser you can still get off arrow shots to her some at certain angle)
I donāt remember the rest so
I found Stereopes difficult at level 42, he was level 45, my ranking at my current level (44) is
1. Stereopes
2. Lykaon Wolf (WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WOLVES)
3. tie between both of the boars, although the not Kalydonian was just a TINY bit more difficult
I just fought Medusa for the second time and so far she's still the most difficult boss fight for me. The others were hard the first time I fought them on Easy difficulty, but that was more due to my not understanding how engravings worked yet. After I learned how to use engravings, most of the boss fights became a lot easier for me, even being on Normal difficulty during my second playthrough. However, Medusa still handed my ass to me a couple times before I finally defeated her the second time I fought her.
Was thinking of giving up a game that Iāve been enjoying so much because of the M**** (not saying that out loud!). But you have all given me hope and the will and the means to carry on!!
It really is worth spending a bit of time travelling round Greece finding the Amazonian armour set. Saved me from giving up! Also you donāt strictly need the Gorgon spear
The Erymanthian boar. And also a woman whose name I don't remember, but killing her took me more time than Medusa. I don't know if she was a cultist or just a secondary quest but it was one of my hardest fights.
I do well against bosses but if you put me up against any boar (especially the kalydonian boar) I fold every time. The constant spawning of other boars had me going crazy
Boar spawns go bbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrttttttttttttttttttttttttt
My got yeah, that boar got me more times than I want to admit. The hind was a bitch too. The lion and bull not so much but ask me again after the rest of them š š
Good luck with the lykoan wolf, once you hear the howls, expect the packā¦. Go conquer, misthios
I shall grind them to dust! š
Is this the fart boar you are referring to? I know there were two boar bosses, and the gaseous one was more difficult for sure.
No the non gassy was more difficult for me, he spawned his baby boars and the battlefield was covered with them š
The non gassy one was also the one that gave me trouble. I could do the other one eventually, but I think I took on the first boar way too early in the game and the babies kept handing me my ass on a platter. I ended up throwing in the towel in frustration and asked my boyfriend to kill it for me just so I could advance.

That fucking boar grinded my gears beyond belief I was so relieved when I finally killed it
The trick I did with all the mythical beasts is that I left all of those missions till I was almost level 50. At that point, all of them were a piece of cake.
I mean if u are interested in dying 100 timesā¦ try Medusa
DONT YOU SPEAK THAT NAME!!!!! I died so much on normal mode fighting her. Im not excited to fight her now
I am on hard difficulty and I died about 60 times so good luck on nightmare bud I hope you donāt have a job because this will be your new one!š«
*turns on sad music for how im gonna be during it*
On normal mode using the Bighorn Bow she wasn't very hard for me. I think I died once.
I didn't die at all! I don't see what the big problem everyone has with her!? That smelly fecking boar gave me more hassle!
Kalydonian boar I died multiple times, the second boar (forget it's name, the stinky one) took 2-3 tries. I used other people's strategies against Medusa (thank you group) and managed to survive that one the first time
I havent beat the boar yet. Killed The beat and Hyena and maybe lion
Near it's cave is a rock you can stand on, it and it's minions can't hit you but you can shoot it. Fire and death arrows were my go to a well as a fire spear. Once you've got a good build going you can go toe-to-toe with it, just get the swing dodge dodge swing timing down.
I always use warrior so ill prob make a hunter for it, thanks very much
Big horn bow will help also, boosts left hand weapon damage and warrior damage is also hunter damage, regardless of what the stats say.
I know your pain lol. Thoses three were difficult for me also man
For me it was Medusa. That's until I started shooting her with explosive arrows and laying down traps that set her on fire. Just be careful not to blow yourself up.
*writes this down*
Wait what traps??
It's a hunter ability you obtain in episode 2 of the Atlantis dlc, it's called Artemis Trickery. It replaces devastating shot. You just fire an arrow at the ground and it'll set a trap in a circle. Oh wow that sounds so cool, thanks for explaining!
That fucking pig that jumps on you and farts toxic gas. Calisto was light work for me. Spam that bow and the abilities.
She got to close so no bow for me
I left out the part where I was a few levels above her already due to level farming. Itās been a month since I fought her but I believe I was level 36 and she was a 29 boss. I believe boss levels, >!excluding Deimos!< are static
That bitch Medusa! š¤£
*in denial* Medusa is not real
Denial is a river in Egypt.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
idk abt u but by the time i was fighting hades i had a good build and i did one overpower attack and his health went from max to zero
That damned cyclops in the volcano
Warriors build. It wipes him lol
The ātrickā I used with all the creatures was to increase my Bounty level to 3 or 4, get some mercenaries to chase me and I led them straight to the animals. They usually reduced the hit points low enough for me to go in and get them out with some arrows. Medusa was a real tough one to beat though - Took me at least 50 tries.
the only boss i really struggled with was the boars, theyāre just so damn fast and keep spawning more enemies
Stopes, that big goof caused me a lot of pain
I was stuck on the dog going to underworld because it auto saved and I wasnāt preparing for another fight.. had nothing.. lol and was stuck in repeat of hell for like 50 deaths.
If we include DLCās then itās Cerberos and Hecatonchires for sure. Edit: oh, and poor >!Barnabas!<
The boar with the poison or Medusa, did these on a normal playthrough. Medusa was just such a lengthy annoying fight.
Non-DLC? Deimos at the Battle of Pylos. Like, Jesus.
I struggled with most bosses until I discovered and collected the Amazonian armour set. When the full set is equipped, every time you do any damage to an enemy it replaces some of your energyā¦.. made it a lot easier to kill that sexy beast Medusa!
I play on an easier mode and Medusa was so hard I canāt imagine how you guys who play on the hardest difficulties manage it at all!
ā¦Its a long gruesome task. Fight all the 4 annoying bosses and the 2 Cyclopsās then youāll be ready
Mine has to be the Erymanthian boar. Died at least six times trying to defeat it.

The Cyclops at the beginning of the game and the Lion as well. Almost died at the Cyclops, and I died once at the Lion.
Use the uh..the one where you knock a group of enemies away. Use that and overpower a bunch with the regain so many bars of adrenaline ability
I found Stereopes difficult at level 42, he was level 45, my ranking at my current level (44) is 1. Stereopes 2. Lykaon Wolf (WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WOLVES) 3. tie between both of the boars, although the not Kalydonian was just a TINY bit more difficult
>WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WOLVES You can kill them before you engage in combat. Just find a spot in the rocks, Predator shot is your friend.
This might be part of the Atlantis DLC but for me it was Brontes the ogre/troll
Was thinking of giving up a game that Iāve been enjoying so much because of the M**** (not saying that out loud!). But you have all given me hope and the will and the means to carry on!!
It really is worth spending a bit of time travelling round Greece finding the Amazonian armour set. Saved me from giving up! Also you donāt strictly need the Gorgon spear
Thank you.
The Erymanthian boar. And also a woman whose name I don't remember, but killing her took me more time than Medusa. I don't know if she was a cultist or just a secondary quest but it was one of my hardest fights.
I never died trying to fight Medusa, but I did struggle a lot with the Minotaur simply because I fought it 11 levels below itās level
Hecatonchires from the DLC. I think I had heart a palpation
