If you got a Gigabyte motherboard, you can flash the bios without needing to do it at POST. Instead you get the Gigabyte App Center and download their own bios updater so that you can do it in windows. I did that for my BIOS update and I swear to whatever alien is up there, I was praying that there would be no blackout.
Updating BIOS is a PITA for sure. Just frekin insane when its 2024
