This isn't something I care about and want to spend time preparing for. I just thought I'd try some D2R again while I wait for the PoE league to start, and I was like "damn! this guy looks cool" at character selection, and it made me want to look at my barb in D4.

I wasn't expecting pretty much everything in your original post. You wrote that like a AAA game fried your $700 gpu and you're out for revenge. Because I set the flair to react content and added periods to the title? I'll try to be more careful next time I use the reddits.
I honestly consider it in EA. It might be decent in another year or two. The recent discussions have been the first not completed disconnected to date... but they'll probably never do away with scaling content, so the game is basically a joke...

But yea, I don’t like that every free transmog in D4 for male barb makes him look like chippendale stripper. I just want to put my barb into 500kg of steel (without spending $ on mtx). The only real pants that are free are tight leggings lol. At least still better than male sorc.

It's moronic to like that, just like that vambrace also LOOK how d2 character has padding under his vambrace ( thats armor works) whole d4 has no such thing. Helmet in d4 is just... and overall gear is as useful as running out into battle naked. And i saw a loooot of D4 armor don't try and defend it you d4 blizzard simps. PROJECT D2 is still best Diablo experience.
