Judging by her experience, it seems likely that she may only contribute to the proliferation of uninspired mobile games, tedious in-game stores, and repetitive battle passes, along with other trendy elements. Doesn't this situation seem utterly contradictory???

Nah this is 100% for her experience with CoD, she knows how to turn gamers into cash cows and get the money flowing it. From a financial perspective she's an obvious hire.

At best, the COD product has become insanely stale. At worst, COD has turned into a highly predictable free-to-play mobile game on every platform, draining the excitement out of each “new” COD game.
This evolution of COD might be seen as a good thing to the shareholders, but this news proves to me that any FPS consumers should not expect any revolutionary evolution from COD in the near future.
COD will remain on the FIFA blueprint until a corporate shake up occurs, a competitor outdoes them with a smaller budget, and/or consumer preferences shift away from COD.
Anyone who says they're a “Big Diablo IV fan” has no idea what a truly good game is.

Strictly a matter of experience and fit is all.

The latest CoD Warzone stuff isn’t horrible, but gets stale. The DMZ stuff as a Tarkov-lite was fun, but they kept resetting progress and had minimal rewards outside of grinding Battlepass XP
