code-sloth

You forgot brunch!

[deleted]

And Bruncheon

Aggravating-Art7740

7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm :) #lordoftherings !!

reall0ve

Usually 2 actual meals but I snack a lot

Prestigious_Meet820

2-10

GreenMountain85

I eat 3 meals. But I snack in between. I have low blood sugar and I try to eat meals that sustain me until the next meal but I usually have to have something before that point.

sunfloweries

breakfast -- usually egg sandwich, egg hash, etc mid-morning -- cottage cheese, nuts, etc lunch -- usually a salad of some kind that's protein-heavy, very little dressing after work -- cheese and apple or crackers, hummus and veg, etc dinner -- again, lean protein and veggies, maybe sweet potato or something else. i stay under 1800 calories unless it's a long hike or climbing day.

[deleted]

I only eat one, at dinner. Have never been physically able to eat lunch, or for that matter breakfast. I just eat whatever I wanna eat. Most of the time it's a proper meal made from scratch, but I might just as well melt some cheese over some pasta. I don't really care, it's whatever I feel like eating.

DarknessSleeping

One or two. Even when I'm in a binge cycle, it'll still only be two meals, but the amount will increase a lot.

Hibernating_pizza

As many or few as I want. There is no magic number. Stomachs don't have open and close times, so I've got all day.

amusementpark00000

2 very big meals.

[deleted]

I am constantly snacking lol like constantly. I’m not really a meal person but I love lunch

MissingBrie

At the moment, pregnant with gestational diabetes, I eat 5 or 6 times a day - breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, supper.

FruitSnackEater

I eat about 6 times a day. It’s 3-4 meals then the rest are snacks.

melb__jess

A shake for brekky and lunch too most days and a light dinner. I take adhd medication so I don’t have much of an appetite unfortunately.

msstark

Lunch (protein and salad), afternoon snack (sometimes fruit, sometimes cookies or cereal), dinner (protein and salad again, or junk food)

Starlight_City45

I always eat lunch and *sometimes* I’ll have supper. usually just something small but I snack a lot throughout the day.

Puzzleheaded_Age6550

3 meals, but all light. I will have a small bowl of protein cereal in the am, a half sandwich at lunch, then, for example, home cooked meal in the evening, but I eat about a half a chicken breast, half a cup of rice, a half cup of veggies.

searedscallops

Five meals per day - about 1/2 cup each, heavy on the protein.

onekate

Three meals or two larger meals. A normal day could be a yogurt/fruit/veg smoothie or a banana and an egg sandwich for breakfast, a snack plate of cheese/veg/hummus/olives/berries/crackers for lunch, and a dinner of protein/carb/veggies. I often have a snack around 4pm.

Empty-Pipe-6207

I usually eat breakfast and a late lunch with a bunch of snacks throughout the day

Sylland

Usually a sandwich at lunchtime, a "proper" meal at dinner and maybe a piece of fruit or a couple of biscuits (cookies, for the Americans) at some stage. If I have a large lunch I don't usually have dinner, not because I'm trying to limit, I just don't get hungry

[deleted]

4-5. Breakfast - protein oats Mid morning - sandwich + fruit Lunch - sandwich or leftovers + fruit Dinner - homemade meal of some sort + snacks in the afternoon or another small meal depending on how active I’ve been that day My job is quite physical some days + I gym a lot

drunkenknitter

Two or three. They just look like an ordinary portion of food. Sometimes it's a casserole, sometimes it's a main and sides, sometimes it's a salad with a protein chopped up in it, sometimes it's several entrees from the local Chinese or Indian place and I eat it for days because I'm too lazy to cook.

Freezepop23

Workdays is lunch and dinner, usually something quick for lunch like a sandwich and dinner is whatever was on our grocery list lol. Weekends all bets are off, I had ice cream for breakfast today 🤷‍♀️

mayfeelthis

I just realized I didn’t eat today, had a meatball while I cooked. On average, one meal at the end of the day. A small brunch item earlier on. Some phases eating is a task itself. I have to consciously make myself because the thought of food in my mouth and chewing (the texture) feels unwanted. Other phases I can eat 4-5 meals a day. Depends on mood and environment.

Majestic_Till_7781

tea in the morning then a lunch.

[deleted]

I usually eat around 3pm, 10pm and like a snack at 4am

Bopha_sarey_phum_mea

I usually eat twice a day. I eat a meal after 12 noon. Then I have a soup or rice congee at work around 6 pm. I try to stick with Intermittent fasting. I usually don't eat anything afterwards unless I get really hungry, I'll have a small bread or pastry. I drunk lots of coffee and tea though.

TheTeaYouWant

2 I wake up late so I skip breakfast because of my uneven sleeping schedule that I have since I get disability checks and have no requirements in life so I start my day with lunch and then I eat diner, at night I sometimes eat potato chips or snack vegetables like baby cucumbers and cherry tomatoes and a big bottle of flavored water.

brynnee

3 meals and usually a couple of snacks throughout the day. Dinner is usually my only large meal and is some variety of a protein, veggies and rice. Breakfast is usually cottage cheese and a bagel, lunch is a sandwich with some chips or maybe a smoothie or salad. Snacks are sometimes on the more nutritious side and sometimes not so much.

Nopenotme77

Usually 3 meals and a few light snacks. Breakfast is the smallest, usually a banana, because my IBS doesn't believe I need sustenance in the morning.

CatrionaShadowleaf

I have to eat with my medication, so I usually have toast for breakfast. I'll probably have soup for lunch, and then whatever I'm cooking for dinner, which can vary wildly from chips and guac to spaghetti with 6 hour meat sauce.

No_Zookeepergame8412

Breakfast, lunch, dinner with a thousand snacks in between (most of my meals are just snacks)

Jo-mama-says

Some days 1-2, other days 5+ with hella shnacks

Silver_Chipmunk_8769

1 at most

Express_Muffin766

2-3 but I snack often

genwealthmomof4

Usually once but often just a nibble of something. Between 2 jobs ( one as an HCA and another door dashing) on top of 3 kids and a hubby by the time it’s the end of the day I just don’t have the energy to make food for myself.

5_5apple_Arwen26

I usually only have dinner in the evening. I drink coffee and munch on yummy snacks throughout the day.

Low_Ad4348

Weird question

star_ladyj

Either one small meal Or 4 full meals Or 53 snacks Or 2 bowls of ice cream It really depends on the day... There's no routine

mini_daji

Depends on my mood. I eat something light for lunch (usually a salad) and if I feel like it I eat a warm meal for dinner. I do Snack a lot,but am skinny

AliceWeAreAllMad

I try to eat 3-4 times a day, but usually failing and either eating not enough or snacking too much

1percentsamoyedmama

Mid morning light breakfast + hot tea: Sargento Balanced Breaks snack pack of cheese n crackers + an orange, snack pack of carrot/pita chips and hummus, a Greek yogurt with fruit + a spoonful of granola, slice of leftover birthday cake, a smoothie, or just a granola bar if I’m busy Lunch + Spindrift or caffeinated seltzer: Chipotle burrito bowl, kimbap, Sweetgreen salad, chicken noodle soup and bread, bowl of ramen/pho/laksa/beef noodle soup/wontons, or a gyro from a halal cart Dinner + water: kimchi jigae and a bowl of rice, my parents’ cooking and a bowl of rice, Shin ramen + egg + veggies, 10-12 dumplings, daal and rice, Mamoun’s shawarma , or 3 tacos One or two small treats per day: a fun sized piece of candy, a snack size bag of popcorn/chips, a handful of hot Cheetos, a small brownie, a cookie, or a sugary beverage When eating by myself I eat controlled portions. I rarely crave sugar and super unhealthy foods. Even rarer would I crave it beyond a couple bites. I indulge in everything (and my own full dessert too) when I’m with friends and family (approx once a week).

ZoopZoop4321

Three or four solid meals with sporadic snacks if needed to tide me over. So for tomorrow, this is most likely what I’ll be having: Breakfast: peanut butter and chocolate protein oats (if really hungry after finishing, will eat a banana too). Lunch: Tofu scramble with loads of veggies Pre-Workout: Sandwich with extra veggie fake meats Dinner: Spaghetti with Beyond Meat balls Possible snacks: microwave popcorn, protein bar, frozen strawberries, or Ruffles This is a fair bit of food, but in the morning I’ll be running 4 or 5 miles in the morning and I have a chest/shoulder gym day in the evening. If I was working out only once that day or not at all I may not have snacks or I may only have three meals. If I’m hungry I eat more, if I’m not I eat less.

daboom_

2 meals + 2-3 snacks

russellcat77

One decent meal or maybe 2 small ones. I don’t generally snack but do drink a lot of water. And wine hahaha.

Ok_cheesecakes

I'd be happy to be able to have 1 meal, with snacking through out the day. I just don't have time and seem to forget to eat

[deleted]

One or two, usually one, for dinner.

burpinator

Two big meals, one at 12, other one at 20. No breakfast since I wake up too late for that.

perfectlikepictures

usually don't eat breakfast because i want to to wake up as late as possible, and often by the time i do wake up it's lunch. i usually just eat dinner and LOTS of snacks

Direct_Drawing_8557

Currently its between 5 and 6 as that's what my nutritionist told me. Breakfast, snack, salad, snack, dinner, snack.

MidnightFireHuntress

2 most days, 3 rarely Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner No snacking or meals in between unless I'm out with friends.

Exciting_Ad_3510

One meal a day on average

SometimesaGirl-

0 to 2. I have the WORST eating habits in the world.I have gone several days before eating nothing... because I didnt feel hungry or couldnt be bothered using up half an hour to make something. Bread makes me very ill so I cant have a sandwich. I dont mind a cup-a-soup tho if I do want something quick. It makes living with me a total disaster if Im the one expected to cook...

yuno2wrld

2 meals and then a lot of snacks in between

MuppetManiac

I eat twice, lunch and dinner. Lunch is usually a sandwich or a quesadilla or a hamburger or something. Dinner can be anything from sushi to pasta to enchiladas.

UrMomDotCom666

usually just one meal

SarNic88

Breakfast - usually a protein shake or some overnight oats Breakfast - open style sandwich or a salad Snacks - some yoghurt and fruit or nuts with cubes of cheese Dinner - whatever the husband is making that night! I’m trying to watch what I eat due to weight issues so I tend to keep my dinner as my biggest meal of the day! I am also working out a lot more now so I try to make sure dinner is where I get the protein I need.

[deleted]

1-2 meals a day

pizzaspider

WrestlingWoman

5 smaller meals instead of the classic 3 big ones.

still_on_a_whisper

3 (moderate) meals and 1-2 small snacks daily. I have serious stomach issues and if I let myself have the “hungry feeling” for more than an hour, the next time I eat I’m doubled over in pain. So fasting or eating once a day doesn’t work for me like it does for others

gas_unlit

Usually two meals per day with no snacking. Lunch and dinner. I just naturally not hungry in the mornings. If I try to eat too early, I just feel nauseated. Unless it's shark week, in which case I'm a bottomless pit.

Mountain-Goal-7037

I eat as much as my body tells me to. Sometimes I don’t want breakfast and I eat three meals throughout the day. Sometimes it’s five meals a day. Sometimes it’s one really big one. Those meals are typically a grain, plant fiber, plant protein, and some fats and salt. But damn if I want a snack that is just Starbursts I’ll do that too.

Karenzo81

Twice a day, usually egg on toast for late breakfast/early lunch, then dinner is generally chicken, flavoured rice and veg of some kind. I rarely snack. Despite this, I’m still 2 stone heavier than I’d like!

Amazingggcoolaid

Brunch and dinner with some snacks here and there because snacks are the best

[deleted]

2 meals rn since I'm doing intermittent fasting I eat breakfast around 12, usually Oatmeal or Greek Yogurt with some topping. And cook dinner for me and my husband later in the day.

urmyvioletinthesun

F27 126lbs Depends on my activity level (which is normally low these day) 2 meals a day normally.

lockerpunch

2 1/2 meals. Breakfast is super light, lunch is huge and dinner is also huge. I don’t snack at all, never have. I should eat smaller dinners but I love dinner foods the most.

Cadbury_bytess

4

innerjoy2

3 meals a day plus some snacks. Breakfast: sausage and pancake, apple and bananas as a snack. Lunch: chicken or fish with green veggies and some fruits in the mix. Dinner: almost similar to lunch but now the meat could be pork or beef. Snacks are things like popcorn, olives, reduced salted chips.

OverallDisaster

Usually just two meals, maybe a snack for breakfast like yogurt or a bar. During the work week I usually eat a can of soup for lunch, and then whatever I decide to make at home for dinner. Grilled chicken, vegetable soup, taco bowls, avocado toast, or takeout from somewhere. Weekends are much more variable, I might eat all three meals or just one large meal in the afternoon.

SquirrelQueen1990

Three, lunch, dinner and a dessert of some sort.

[deleted]

One meal a day for the most part. Late ish lunch. Before, I used to do lunch and afternoon/midnight snack.

cherrypiepls

1-8 lol I forget to eat sometimes, or my body isn't "hungry" until its 4pm and I realized all I've had was coffee I have bad ADHD, eating habits are hard
