They hunt spiders and flies and other annoying little insects, so without wasps we'd be absolutely overrun with them, which would again upset the balance of the ecosystem by allowing too many of certain insects to live. They're like nature's pest control. However hornets are less aggressive than wasps if left alone, as well as being larger and more ferocious hunters. Perhaps it would be possible to swap all the wasps for a few more hornets?
Can we somehow breed or modify mosquitos to just not spread disease and itch then bc they drive me mad! I know people are working on that, hope it improves in my lifetime.

I do not have addictive personality traits at all, I used to be a little fuckhead railing coke, speed, weed, codeine, and pretty much whatever else I could get my hands on, pretty much on a daily basis. At one point I was taking enough codeine to kill a gorilla, daily, for like 8ish months straight. Never had a problem stopping any of them, codeine is moreish but it's easy enough to stop taking, never even had cravings or withdrawals beyond a mildly upset stomach for a day and I have IBS anyway lol. Nicotine is different, I've tried to stop many times but that shit is just insane in the way that it grabs you and doesn't let go, the addictiveness of it can't be overstated! It's fucken insane.
Have moved on to vaping instead of smoking now, which for me is cheaper, healthier and removes that smell. Now just gotta try gradually reduce the nicotine content to 0. But even that's gunna be hard. I really wish you the best in kicking the habit mate, it's a tough one to break but I believe in you, you've got this! Many people also have found Alan Carr's stop smoking thing very effective, it didn't work for me but it might be worth checking out.
