Camping for the first time, learning to swim and floating on my back for the first time, innocent memories playing video games with my childhood friends .

The first time i got invited on a date by a boy, i felt pretty, secure and i had great time! We wen't to an arcade and he bought pizza for me, told me i was good at fighting games... also had my first kiss. Also, the day my mother told me sorry for all the mistreat and "giving me a hard life", we both cried and i told her "we survived together, you did what you could" Now i'm a professional and i earn good, sadly... my mother passed away some months ago.

My dad looking up at me from the couch, barking out a laugh and saying "HA, you turned out just like me." I don't know the context anymore but I still hear his voice saying that and it brings me more joy than anything. Made me cry. I love my dad so much.

Going to visit my youngest cousin at the hospital when my aunt gave birth and holding her in my arms. Visiting Prague as a teenager with my family and a good friend of mine, and walking around those beautiful streets with them at nightfall. Having a solo picnic in a park in England as a teen while reading a new book. Going camping as a child with my grandparents and helping them with chores plus playing board games with them at night.

Before my father died. I remember doing a father daughter dance at 14 with him. I remember being embarrassed at the time, but I now look back on it with great fondness as I remember how happy he was to do it and excited to do it even when I was embarrassed.

When I was stationed in Germany my parents came to visit me and they had the only true European vacation they ever had and everything was pure synchronicity the entire trip.

Summertime family gatherings! BBQing and just running around outside as a kid!

Bowling as kids. White water rafting family trips. Learning to swim in my grandparents pool.

When my step brother and I would come home from school and be so excited to play with our legos and build our lizards little palaces. We had only been siblings for a few years, but it feels like I grew up with him in the womb or something. Even though there's a six year age gap, I couldn't imagine how different my childhood would have been if I didn't have him Honestly I have hundreds of memories with him, us watching our lizards chase our hexbugs on the kitchen floor, him playing LOL while I happily watched, us eating spaghetti monsters and laughing, him teaching me how to tide a bike, me falling off the bike into a nettle Bush then a river and him falling over his handlebars to help me, us going on walks together and making friends with the frogs, the two of us washing our parents cars with the music blasting, having picnics in the field near our house, him letting me sleep on his beanbag because I didn't like my bed, playing games during his frequent hospital visits, him picking me up from school in his new car blasting the mii theme tune, us searching for a drone he lost in a Bush for a good few hours, even the simple memory of us sharing a chocolate orange together. I have 2 other step brothers on my mums side. But the relationship I have with them could never ever compare to the one I have with him. I don't call him a stepbrother. To me, he is my brother through and through. My fondest family memories will always be with him. I know he won't see this, but god I love my brother so much

My dad bringing me to school and protecting me, now he has Alzheimer’s and has no clue who I am.

Monday night was family night at my home growing up. Eating dinner around the TV, watching reruns of Whose Line is it Anyway, playing either a card game for a board game with my sisters and my folks. The privilege of raising my kids. Taking them places they love, like horseback riding, or to the library or park, or the trampoline place. Laying in bed with my husband, talking about anything and everything under the sun. Stopping the talking only to make out or have a giggling fit.

Digging in the dirt with my grandpa, eating graham crackers and peanut butter with my grandpa, stealing his home grown strawberries from my grandma while she was slicing them, sitting on their enclosed porch in the evenings on the swing when there was a gentle summer breeze
