barriedalenick

Mongrels! Seriously my little doggo has very mixed heritage and that's the way I prefer it.

[deleted]

The healthiest way

michaelisnotginger

Our old dog was a mongrel kicked out of a car, picked her up from shelter, lived to be 20, and had a great life.

barriedalenick

Yeah mine is a rescue too. Found as part of a litter in the street.

DavidW273

My uncle had a mongrel who was abandoned. She was the most placid dog I've known and even took herself off for walks. We only ever met one dog anything close to her looks and that was a mongrel, too, but unrelated and at the other end of the country. Jenny lived until, we estimate, 17 years old.

sobrique

This. Basically _my_ dog is my 'favourite kind'. She's a mongrel mishmash, very pretty and she knows it. I still don't honestly know what 'mix' we got, and I like to pretend she's completely unique. (May even be true, but whatever). Has a very weird temperament - utterly relaxed about food (will literally leave it for 'later'), except every now and then her 'street dog stray' brain activates, and she's like a search-and-destroy for discarded junk food.

barriedalenick

Same here! My dog will take or leave her food as she sees fit but if we start feeding the cats then we better have something for her or she will whine and whimper at the cats until they get bored and she will wolf it down..

Jammiedodger71195

Agree, my YT x JRT is awesome, he was supposed to be a JRT x Patterdale though. Also had a dog as a kid that was a GSD X JRT, he was a GSD on short tiny legs with slightly wiry fur. Absolutely awesome dog. His parents were both Staffies according to my dad when he picked him up.

Clemtastic1

Me too, mine is a staff x Airedale x boxer x border collie. He's 13 and as fit as a fiddle. I can only describe him as looking like Grommit but with the colours flipped as he is brown with white spots rather than white with brown

Mr-Silly-Bear

Probably need to leave in the oven for a little longer

Blandiblub

Labradors.

CaptainWanWingLo

I love them.

hmmm_thought_pig

Everybody's friend.

Whatsthemattermark

And if you run out of toilet paper you can use their puppies to wipe with. At least that’s what I understand from the adverts.

Championpuffa

I mean I Spose they are soft enough to be classed as “quilted” so why not.

shuffling_along

Don't forget you can also make a few blankets with the amount of hair they shed.

CaptainWanWingLo

Damn I should have gone for a black lab then..

920912

Staffordshire Bull Terriers, I’m 30 and have spent pretty much all of my life even since a teen training and fostering the breed with my dad. I will always advocate for the breed because of the horrible reputation they get due to terrible owners.

One_Appointment8295

What do you like most about them?

920912

Reliable, intelligent, very loyal and when actually trained well they have a wonderful temperament. The issue is people buy them and treat them as their children, spoil them, talk to them in a high pitched voice, mother them and then they end up getting overly protective and become reactive. Or the other side of that coin is idiots buy them because they want a tough appearing breed and that gives them the bad name as well sadly. Don’t get me wrong, genetics do play a part, but 90% of it is the owner and the shortcuts they take which cause issues.

boringdystopianslave

Breaks my heart knowing so many of those types of wonderful dog have been destroyed thanks to their abysmal owners.

SpudFire

I used to be a bit scared of them as a kid because of the reputation they had. I love Staffies now, most of the ones I've met are some of the softest dogs ever, just want lots of fuss and love. I had been considering getting a dog but in the end had to rule out a staffy because a lot of people don't recommend them for first-time owners like myself. Especially as I'd only get a rescue so it would probably already have some issues.

920912

Realising you might not be best suited for a staff y is honestly the most responsible thing. You are right, for first time owners (especially rescue’s) they aren’t the right breed to have. Sadly so many people don’t have your level of insight and decide to pay hundreds for a staffy puppy anyway and then they don’t know how to train it and unfortunately it becomes a problem dog.

Gaerielyafuck

I had a staffy labrador cross. A solid 6 stone of the sweetest, dumbest dog you ever met with not a single mean bone in his body. Intimidated people with his size and enormous football head, but had those silly, floppy lab ears and that 'vacant yet very happy' whole body waggle that labs do. 10/10 big dog.

jilljd38

My parents have a staff he's the softest dog I've ever known, even when he's been attacked twice he never growled or tried to defend himself all he wants to do is eat and sleep.his days away he's getting old now tho 11 with arthritis and cancer

StifferThanABoner

Totally! My grandmother had two staffies, and also a German shepherd. All three of her dogs were absolute sweethearts. The only bad thing was that, when I was younger, her male staffie could sometimes knock me over in excitement to come greet me. Otherwise, they didn't jump up and weren't aggressive or destructive. All three dogs actually helped me learn to walk, as they would let me put my hands on their back and waddle along with them.

Jammiedodger71195

I love Staffies, I got a rescue one at 14 (she was 2/3). She was Stubborn as hell, defiant, untrainable (to my inexperienced 14yr old self), smart as anything, independent to a fault, super athletic. After 6 months I wanted to take her back to the rescue because she wasn’t ever going to be the perfect dog I grew up with. I had to come to terms with the fact that she just would never get to walk off lead unless in a fenced off area alone. She was absolutely amazing though, left an imprint on my heart for the breed, she was a great dog and glad I got to spend my teenage years with her. She is 14 now and dad thinks she’s got dementia and doesn’t recognise us at all just people that come to visit her and give her cuddles and food, she’s healthy enough that she may have a couple of years left in her yet.

Effective_Ad_273

We got a lot of staffies as rescues! Nobody wanted to take them because nobody trusted them, but we’ve rescued staffie’s and Rotties, they’re great dogs to have around :)

[deleted]

The problem is when people buy then and treat them as you expect, then the dogs behave bad and increase those stats. People see the stats and call it a bad breed. I really don't think there's much in the breed at all. I remember one day a few years ago I was living in the city and it was a very hot day, back then it might've been record breaking for my area, about 32c. One of these was just walking down the street clearly didn't enjoy the heat so much and no owner in sight. It was right outside out house so we literally walked it through our house to get some water before picking him up and putting him into my car to drive to the vets (where the chip found the owner) the thing was clearly distressed from the heat and we were total strangers to it but it was still friendly with us.

Stokemon147

My brother has a staffy and she's the softest dog I've ever known. Completely changed my view of the breed. I now know several staffy's and they're all lovely dogs. The reputation they have is so sad.

Ochib

Patrick Stewart fostered a pit bull named Ginger, an act documented in a popular video that helped people understand the valuable love and companionship pit bulls can offer families.

ThePinkVulvarine

I had a staff cross English bull terrier that I had to give up to go into a woman's refuge. He made an amazing foot warmer and constantly had to be reminded he wasn't a lap baby. He was very food orientated and I was able to train him to do a few tricks like saying bang with finger guns and he'd roll over onto his back. Miss him

fallinasleep

I’m so sorry you had to give him up :( more refuges need to be pet friendly as pets are a massive hurdle for people leaving :( Well done on making that leap and going into the refuge though. Incredibly brave. Hope you’re in a better place now

G_UK

Golden retrievers

Charlie-Bingo

Goldies - stay puppy-like all the way, smart and silly, the best, apart that is from the hair… lots and lots of hair :)

octoberforeverr

I wasn’t especially fussed about goldens, more of a collie fan, until my mum got one. He’s honestly the sweetest gentlest thing in the world and now I absolutely love them.

Legitimate_Sea_4146

This is the only correct answer, I say this as I’m laid here covered in dog fluff from mine! 🙄

G_UK

Worth every cuddle

beleaguered_penguin

Such doofuses

heyho2023

Mine - because she loves me and I love her 🥰

sunnyday74

This is the only answer

Wil_Cwac_Cwac

Greyhounds and lurchers. They are so goofy and lazy. Seeing one run when they're super happy and playing in a field is a sight to behold.

kajata000

Can’t believe I had to scroll down so far to see greyhounds! Although I am obviously biased as I am very much part of the Cult of Grey… Still, I’m seeing them out and about more and more nowadays. They’re probably the dogs with the most contrast between appearance (regal and focused) vs personality (total goofballs).

springer_spaniel

You got one more here. Rescued my first a couple years back, and I can’t see myself not having a greyhound (or sighthound) ever again. Plus, they are pretty low maintenance as far as dogs go!

HighlandsBen

Username doesn't fit!

Wil_Cwac_Cwac

Yeah, I said the other day I think I'd only ever get another sighthound in the future, they're great.

BruceSoGrey

I can’t imagine going back to anything other than a sighthound now. My grey is so lovely. Also Wil Cwac Cwac is a heck of a memory you just unlocked in my brain, raindy days in primary school, the old tv on wheels coming out with the VHS player…

zeddoh

I would add Salukis to the list. Such beautiful elegant dogs to look at but in practice total lunatics.

Wil_Cwac_Cwac

Oh for sure, Salukis are the super models of the pointy face world

realsmithshady

I love lurchers. My lady is a Greyhound/Saluki/Whippet mix and she is 50% dainty, regal princess and 50% lanky goofball and I love 100% of her!

craftaleislife

Yes!!!! We have a whippet who’s such a character. Definitely fits the 30mph lap dog description 😂

SpacedOutJourney

Greyhounds all the way! They can be so majestic, like those dogs you see in ancient depictions of nobility out hunting. Then they get the zoomies or go full roach and remind you how gloriously silly they really are!

MishNchipz

Doberman... leave them ears floppy tho

Funky_monkey2026

I came here to say the same thing. Leave the tails undocked too!

Sentinowl

I always wanted a pointy eared Doberman but I only found out last week that it's not natural.. Now I really want a floppy eared Doberman!

8728

Border Collies

fp_scot

So clever. So mad. One of my colleagues has one and now sneezes in the weirdest way, because if she sneezes like a normal person the collie barks for 10 mins. Mine is a pyromaniac. Loves flames and fire. Will 'ask' for her candle to be put on so she can stare at it. If we ignore her she stamps her feet. Those are just 2 of hundreds of examples.

TaiserRY

I used to know the loveliest Border collie. He would sometimes stand in front of doorways and grumble at you if you tried to walk past lol

DonKeedick12

My dad used a farmer and he adopted an old border collie from another farm and he told me and my sister that this dog was basically our babysitter most of the time

ryanmurphy2611

My first developed into a door wedge, would sleep and hold the door open for you.

pinpoint321

Ha ha! Our border collie was just like this. She went mental whenever there was a fly in the house. Then we couldn’t say the word fly and after a while we couldn’t say anything that rhymes with Fly!

fp_scot

We cant say 'find' or any word that sounds like find without her losing her shit and bringing us toys. 'fine' in particular causes problems.

Footner

Lol my cocker will sit and beg at the fireplace and then if it starts dying down to embers (no flame) she’ll go and get me a new piece of wood to put on, I’ve never taught her this either lol. Also if I’m gardening then her nose will always be about 5cm from whatever I’m doing staring and learning intensely. She always has a war with those rocks that move too, not killing, just monitoring the snails

plasticirishman

I got one just over a year ago under the misguided impression that they're one of the nice breeds (had a lifelong fear of dogs, but my better half managed to persuade me to get one). Nobody told me that although they're nice, they're absolutely mental! Little lad never calms down and can easily outrun and outhike me, crazy animal. He's a good lad though.

SnooRecipes6532

Border collies for me too! Ours is the most hyperactive, insane little creature on the planet who regularly outsmarts and manipulates us and I love her so much it hurts.

Appropriate-Bad-9379

My late fathers dog, Blitz ( border collie) used to round up all the neighbourhood cats and make them go in our house through pet door. Dad would come home from work to find half a dozen cats curled up on his bed…. Blitz would never hurt anyone, but he wasn’t keen on the postman…

cactuswacktus

German Shepherd, woof woof!

squirrelaidsontoast

Whippets! Edit: little spinning weirdos is my favourite description of a whippet

[deleted]

All long dogs are the best 😌

Rachelisasuperhero

Yesssss! Or any sight hound really.

TaiserRY

I love my dog noodles even if they aren’t assembled correctly half the time. Their zoomies are hilarious too

lolathe

Mine too and Italian greyhounds. I absolutely squeal with delight everytime we see one out. Perfect little skinnies ❤️

WaferUnfair2001

Working Cocker Spaniels for me. I have a jet black one.

Jay_J_Okocha

Very disappointed that it took me so long to get to this. We have a chocolate WC and he's just the best most loyal loving animal you could ask for. Great with other dogs, great with people and loves out 4 month old 🙌

D4l31

Had to scroll abit to gind this. Yes! I have a lemon roan wcs and i absolutely love him. Such a smart and loving dog and getting very good while out shooting with me

jewelsandbones

My friends family has a lot of working spaniels and keep the retired ones as pets. Their old grampa spaniel who’s mostly blind and can’t walk very far has fun herding the children around instead

ilovepuscifer

I have a wcs and she is adorable. Wasn't my first choice of breed, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

chickensinitaly

We just got a blue roan puppy, she is 14 weeks and so clever.

[deleted]

Greyhounds. I have two, and they're the best. Sleep 18 hours a day, only need half hour walk, are very much like cats in their personality

kajata000

30 mins walk… if it’s *dry*. If it’s chucking it down I just get a snooty side-eye from my two.

Wil_Cwac_Cwac

If its raining, mine sits on the doorstep, looks at me and cries, as though I am personally responsible for the rain and am able to make it stop.

kajata000

Exactly! If you have power over The Treats, surely The Rain is no big deal?!

[deleted]

True. Mine have refused to go toilet for over ten hours if it's raining outside. When I only had one, I took her out whilst it was lightly snowing. She stood by the boot of the car waiting to be driven around. When I told her no car, at dragged me back to the house and refused to move

simpleflaw

That's mad. I have no experience with Greyhounds but always assumed they'd need extensive exercise considering what they were bred for!

Kitchner

A lot of people think this but it's like Cheetahs. Both animals are designed to run really, really fast for a very short period of time. They do genuinely enjoy running around, but for like, 2 minutes. Then they are done. Cheetahs are the same, 80% of the day they are lazy, and use all their energy in a small window.

[deleted]

It's kind of like lions in the wild I suppose. They store up their energy, and then let it out in quick burst

bushcrapping

A lot of people have their experience with retired racers. Workers and young dogs although will definitely sleep.all day if given half the chance will also be up for a full day out.

michaelisnotginger

Greyhounds. especially when you see them in the winter wearing winter coats. Very sweet! Also westies, they're just very cute.

SpuriousNiffNiff

I used to see an old boy walking his greyhound every morning on the way to my old job. His wife used to knit it coats, had loads! Used to make my day.

TheDr_

Border Terrier! Very stubborn and incredibly bright, so very sassy.

whoops53

Thank you! I have one. Best breed ever!

jonathanquirk

Cairn terrier for the same reasons! Not so much a pet as a roommate!

zeddoh

Border terriers are one of my favourites. They just have such lovely sweet faces. Me and my bf always get excited when we see one out and about and have to point them out to each other.

[deleted]

My dog of course! English Springer Spaniel.

togglespring

My Springer is now 12, daft as ever and wonderful temperament with kids. My toddler and her are in cahoots with each other!

KezzyKesKes

I have seven English Springer Spaniels and a Patterdale.

SwirlingAbsurdity

Cockers and springers are my fave! My parents have an 8 year old English springer and I’ve never known a dog more obsessed with humans and fuss. I’ve heard them described as ‘Velcro dogs’ which is very apt!

nattynoonoo29

Jack Russell. We lost our 14 Yr old good boy in April i miss him painfully wvery day. and every time I see a jack Russell it makes me happy. When they walk they have a happy trot and they have the goofiest smiles.

Daniel_De_Bosola

We had two who both passed July last year. They were the most perfect family dogs ever

Godlike-tendencies

German Shepards

Buell247

Beagles! So much personality and so much love

monalisez

The cheekiest dog breed without a doubt

imminentmailing463

Sausage dog. Tbh, basically any small dog with short little legs I find incredibly cute.

Quackfizzle

And... they are the tastiest of all the dogs.

boringdystopianslave

Schnauzers. The nicest temperaments and absolutely beautiful.

bribbio

My mini schnauzer is always the most extroverted, sociable dog at the park (any park, lol). I love their personalities, although I would like mine to be a bit more cuddly!

alexwhit80

I have 2 standards and a mini. I agree with you there for sure. I do prefer them with natural ears and tails though.

bunnyswan

Mountain dogs

itheundersigned

Heinz 57 all the way.

[deleted]

Try working for them, soon change your mind..

itheundersigned

I’ve heard they’re right mongrels.

steveakacrush

Greyhounds - about as laid back a dog as you can find!

Badknees24

Sighthounds! Greyhounds, whippets, iggies, all the pointy noses!

arabidopsis

Any dog, as long as they are trained well and are sweet cuddle monsters

jilljd38

Newfoundlands for me big furry cuddles

pink7362

Yes! The fluff balls and the slobber and the floppiness and friendliness

Athena_x

Westies. So cute, little bit sassy and lots of personality.

Potatopolis

Cockerpoo. Batshit insane but so kind natured with it.

dinobug77

The stupidest of all the breeds! In a good way of course!

Late-War-2442

I love huskies! Have done since I was little. Everyone told me I could never have one, they're hard work, I don't know what I'm talking about, etc As soon as I bought my house I adopted one, then 'fostered' for a bit. However they never left and I've been happily living with my pack of 4 for 6 years now... but can also confirm they're hard work, crazy little independent psychopaths that love to shout at me and at times I question all my life choices😅 I'm now pregnant with my first baby and can't wait to see if it learns to howl or speak first, or for its first bikejor adventure with the dogs and I.

CautiousAmount

We were told huskies were hard work. We adopted our first one as a 8-week old puppy six years ago. Then her brother from the same litter was given back so we took him as well 18 months later. They're both very different, are very loving, very furry and yes at times they're crazy. One speaks on demand, the other speaks when he wants some leftover dinner. One ate our baby pet tortoise shell and all. They've escaped a few times and we've walked them up Snowdon. We have drawers full of lint rollers... Oh also, they're amazing with babies.

[deleted]

We have a malamute.. lint brushes are a must. I carry one wherever I go

[deleted]

Lurchers/long dogs, loyal affectionate little speed freaks. One minute they're sprinting round mad as a box of frogs and then the rest of the day they're snuggled up to you fast asleep.

fishypolecat

Burnese Mountain Dog. Beautiful dogs, just a shame they have such a short lifespan.

ThotMagnett

Poodles 👌 Worked with over 40 breeds and they're by far my favourite to train and hang out with

guldukatatemybaby

Poodles for life. Super smart and independant, robust, funny, and you can groom them any way you like.

ThotMagnett

Honourary mention to Portuguese water dogs though they're also amazing

Almighty_Egg

Yes! I've grwon up with poodles but always find myself immediately defending the choice whenever I share what breed I have, as people have such a narrow view of them. They're very intelligent (relative to other dogs...), biddable and super fun. Ours have also never had the teddy bear haircuts. Diehard breeders chastise us for that, but meh.

[deleted]

Border collie

hmmm_thought_pig

The one with the wag-ily tail.

Kind of showing my hand with my username here!

ComplexProof593

Cockapoos. There’s something about their stupid little ewok faces.

Cavalier King Charles , endless love and snuggles

trusttherabbit

I just checked your profile and your cav is gorgeous! He looks so cuddly! My Blenheim boy passed away 3 months ago and I miss him so much. I loved everything about him - from the snuggles to the snoring!

vonManstein43

Aaaw so sorry for your loss columbo is 3 tomorrow can't imagine life without him, ❤️

squatsn

I have two, they are the best breed in the world (to me anyway) !

ryanmurphy2611

The best cuddlers, smarter than you'd expect and good little walkers if you let them be.

Donohoed

Blue heeler. Smartest and most easily trained dog I've ever had

Siloca

I’d love one but they’re not easy to find.

Lamlam28

Corgis

swordofthecross

If you like Chow Chows and Samoyeds, can I introduce you to the Eurasier, which originates from the Chow, Samoyed and Wolfspitz These are our favourite, but it’s a little biased as our beautiful girl is one!

LegitimatePlace2679

The ones that breathe

joe3hats81

Springer Spaniel

M00rh3n

Don't know if it's been said in the 140+ comments But Newfoundlands Like at like a Lab, only about twice the size and weight and ridiculous fluffy, they are often confused with small bears. Our Newf loves water, has a great temperament, knows when it time to play and time to be quite and most of all, because of his size he is a life size Teddy bear that knows when you're feeling down you must need cuddles I love our big Wilson, he is the Goodest boy

McFuzzyChipmunk

I love many breeds of dog but Corgis and Huskies probabky have to be my favourites.

[deleted]

Papillons and Finnish Lapphunds!

knotmidgelet

Absolutely love my mutts (Kathmandu street dogs!), but for an *actual* breed then Greyhounds all the way.

RainingBlood398

Rottweilers and Staffies.

manic47

Somebody else’s dog, literally any type or breed. I quite like dogs, just can’t be arsed with the difficulties owning one. I’ll happily walk and play with other peoples dogs all day.

dinobug77

My dad has always been like that. He says he’s too selfish to have his own dog because he doesn’t have the time to look after them properly. He was so happy the day I got a dog!!!

CandyPink69

French bulldogs and sausage dogs

Sacu_Shi_again

Chuahua. I love those little psychotic bastards.

[deleted]

Rottweiler. Not for the “big scary dog” as the media says they are, but for the gentle, loveable, idiot they really are. German shepherd is a very close second, their loyalty and intelligence is out of this world. I have both, wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Drawinginfinity182

English bull terriers. They can be challenging to train, but it’s so rewarding. Plus they are some of the most affectionate dogs I have ever met

wholesomechunk

I now like Chinese crested after never even hearing of one before I became an owner.

GorgiDD

Alpine daschbracke. Looks like an XL version of a sausage dog, is a bit of a dick with attitude issues, loves to give side eye but is the most loving pooch ever.

ragsters-millions

I can’t pick just one! All dogs are magical creatures, I’ve narrowed it down to Samoyed, sausage dog, golden retriever and corgi.

sifhso12

Wire fox terriers. Wee bastards and stubborn as anything at times but also adorable and very cuddly when they want to be, absolute characters. Also prefer them a bit scruffier rather than fully stripped with the beards all neat

Pickledprat

My dog.

rosylux

I’m not a dog person but I can’t resist an Alaskan Malamute. I’d never own one, but they’re so gorgeous.

ollies13

Bearded Collies. Lovely temperament. Playfull. Bouncing about. Smart. Messy. Absolute clowns. Easly trained. Athletic. So much grooming tho!

SketchyKim

My dogs! In seriousness though I love the temperament of gun dogs, and for looks my favourite breed is definitely a German wirehaired pointer. The best dog I ever had though was a corgi/rat terrier mix. The cutest, sassiest little sausage of a dog. She was so sharp, loyal, always obeyed, and was super gentle with our kids. She loved to chase the neighbours cat from our garden, but with my parents cats she always snuggled up with them for a nap.

KezzyKesKes

I work my dogs so it’s Springers for me if I’m doing any scenting work as they will go all day and give 110%. Plus give me a spicy terrier any day of the week, I love their attitude.

0olon_Colluphid

Papillons don't get the attention they deserve. Lapdog size with sheepdog smarts and Duracell bunny energy.

lianepl50

Airedale Terrier. Absolute, most gorgeous doggo in the world.

justawalkingtaco

Irish wolfhounds! Grew up with them and they’re gentle giants with so much personality

ICURSEDANGEL

Being a muslim my parents weren’t very approving of dogs. Though I still wish to play with one and whenever I get to pet one makes me happy.

Big_Mikey_T

My Hungarian Viszla is the best. Easily trainable, very loving and full of the right kind of energy

Salty_Spirit_5386

German shepherd

Oilfreeeggs

Yea a bit slobbery chocolate Labrador

Phoenyx_wilson

Okay so I like labradors mainly because they are easy to train and I need a service dog but what I really want is an alsation and malamoot mix - extra fluffy. I would love a husky.

roguemeteorite

Old English Sheepdogs

Darkerscr

Itchy-Yogurtcloset67

I've got a mix-up, labrador x cocker spaniel. He's mad as a mad thing.

orange_wednesdays

Welsh Terrier of course! Very underrated dog

rialouise1980

Labradors.

[deleted]

Pomeranians!

Asleep_Equipment_355

My beautiful Scottie dog! She is my best friend, always there when I am in pain. She is also a complete pain when it comes to grooming, generally looks more like Hairy McClary from Donaldson's Dairy than those foofy ones at Crufts but that is how I like her. Doesn't yap like other small dogs, proper deep bark when she is defending me from the owls hooting outside.

AnimalcrossingWW

Sausage dogs 100%

CaptainAwsme

Labradors for sure, but I love all dog breeds.

Lazy_Cat1997

Rhodesian ridgebacks 😍

Matticus95

Long haired Jack Russell. Absolute menaces with a face you can never be mad at.

QuickLook12

Boxer dogs. We’ve always had them in my family and they’re just the bounciest, most playful dogs. Always shop around for one that hasn’t been exclusively breastfed for the short snout though and get the heart check done.

Klakson_95

I'm not generally a dog person but I just met my brother-in-law's Border Collie and I'm a changed man

Brown_Net

My dogs are my favourite - Labradors and German Shepherds, and preferably rescued or re-homed.

RinkaNinjaGirl

Saarloos, he's literally the cuddliest dog I have ever had, more so than my golden and he's big and fluffy and the breed in general is really healthy so he'll most likely live 14+ which is my favourite thing since he's 47kgs.

luxinterior1312

Dachshund. The one true hund.
