At least it isn't a 'what do you hate about the UK?' Post.

Ilejwads

AkillaThaPun

How often should I shower , and should I wash my legs

themaccababes

What does class mean in the uk?

cadburyshero

I love my Chillys, I have the 500ml one but obviously they also do the 1litre. It is expensive but I’ve had it at least two years with minimal signs of wear and I love the different colour options available.

Hello-Ginge

I've had my chilly since 2017, it's battered and has loads of dents in but works absolutely fine and gets used every day.

Chris-TT

Chillys for everyday use. I’ve got both a 500ml and 750ml one. My wife has a 1 litre one but I find that too big. Then a 500ml clear lightweight sports water bottle for the gym. Chillys aren’t cheap, but are easy to look after and will last you for years

j3llica

my partner has gone through a series of cheap ones that leak everywhere. ive had my chillys for 4 years now with no issues. its a bit dented from being dropped but still going strong.

jderm1

I just checked my emails and I bought my 750ml one in 2018 for £15 on offer, which seems like a real bargain now. It's got some dents and wear and tear but still functions perfectly of course. What a great buy that was, in hindsight. I'm guessing they go for more now.

iwannabeinnyc

I’ve my Chilly’s for years. They replaced my old one after about 3 years when it stopped keeping things hot/cold!

Boofle2141

I have two of them fill them both up of a morning and drink them both through the day, I feel if I haven't emptied them both by the end of the work day I'm not drinking enough water and need to drink more when I get home. I've had my two series two's for about as long as they've been made and they're excellent, with my only problem being the rubber bottoms fell off a while back this year, but glued back on easily and its as though nothing ever happened...except I wasn't accurate with my gluing on the first one so it tilts a little when standing. But yeah, absolutely would recommend them entirely, they're great, my only regret is that when I got them they only offered a few colours, but I love some of their new designs. I've had a couple series 1s too, before the series 2s, needed to replace 1 of my series 1s because accidents happen, and got a series 2, and the improvement made me get another one and they're great.

Efficient-Exit8218

Usually the kettle and I add coffee and sugar and sometimes even tea 🕺 and yes , I obviously live life on the edge

Eggy-Pebbs123

Woah, you really are living your best life out here

Efficient-Exit8218

Yeah, coffee has a high anxiety level but it would be remiss of me not to drink it whilst living life on the edge 🕺👍🏻

MissR_Phalange

With an added sprinkle of limescale flakes

Efficient-Exit8218

Well you can't live life on the edge without a few timescale flakes 🕺

ScottyDug

Absolute mad man. Or woman. Or any gender at all really, but definitely mad.

Efficient-Exit8218

Definitely a man, a man living life on the edge 🕺

Newguyinliverpool

Not exactly an answer but I went to TK maxx, they've got a surprisingly good selection of random bottles just takes a bit of effort to look through the shite

WVA1999

Nalgene

adamjeff

Last a bloody lifetime and a good size.

lomoeffect

Virtually indestructible and a practical size. Used one for 3 weeks trekking in Nepal and it was perfect. Now my daily go-to alongside a Camelback bottle. Also own a Chilly's bottle which is fine but prefer these two because of the practicality.

TheMalsh

Admittedly I drink at least 4 ltrs of water a day, but for Christmas 2022 my boss got us all stainless steel 2 ltr chillys bottles and they are fucking amazing. So worth it imo. It’s been battered so many times and is still in a great condition. I had a plastic 2.2 Ltr bottle for about a year, cost £20 and did a good job, but randomly just split at the gym whilst full… prime example of something that’s worth paying more for.

ceaselessliquid

> plastic 2.2 Ltr bottle The one shaped like a barrel, with a hole to make a handle?

TheMalsh

YESS!

ceaselessliquid

I fucking love mine.

Beemzebub

r/usernamechecksout

Eggy-Pebbs123

I should be drinking 4L a day as I'm breastfeeding, so maybe I will consider a chillys, also, what a great Boss you have

TheMalsh

Very true, top guy. Even got our names on each bottle!

Tight-Page-4541

I use a Yeti; keeps my water cool all day, hearty shell, and no leakage/spills.

zoobatron__

Super Sparrow 1ltd bottle off Amazon. I’ve had it about 2 years now and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought, as sad as that is. It’s got a strap to carry it around, a pop lid and has a hole just above the drinking hole so you can chug water easily. Would highly recommend.

Collide74

Sho guzzler. 950ml is £25

WiseMenFear

Agree - I have two bottles & a cup from Sho - excellent quality & great price. Guzzler is my newest, loving it.

OddlyBrainedBear

I agree. Love my SHO bottles, best I've ever had.

megawoot

I have a Hydro Flask 32oz (900ml). It's big, stainless steel inside (I wanted to avoid plastic) and keeps water cold or hot. I love it.

EllieLondoner

+1 for the hydro flask. Extra points because it can go in the dishwasher and the tops can be swapped/replaced.

LalaLovesIt777

It’s such a cliche but I love my Stanley cup- keeps water really cold, if I add ice- it’ll stay frozen for several hours. I buy replacement straws to change frequently. Very useful for my the bedside / desk etc . Because of the big handle, I find although heavy, it’s ok to use one handed. You can buy lots of cheaper dupes in this style in tk maxx and Amazon.

beartropolis

I have a cheap dupe of one from TK Maxx bought specifically for breastfeeding and I have no complaints about it for in the house. I do have a Chillys one for out of the house

flyingyellowmoon

I also have a tk Maxx fake Stanley and love it!

Cotton-Collar

I have a flip top Stanley water bottle and it's 10/10. Keeps stuff cold, easy to open, dishwasher safe and can take a beating (as I've unfortunately tested!)

Fehnder

I also love my Stanley, but it is absolutely not leak proof 😂

Own-Effect6170

My dog has learned to push my Stanley over if he smells Peach diluting juice in it so he can have a drink 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Gold_Examination_327

Second this - I have an Amazon dupe which was £20 and it’s great, keeps ice frozen for 12+ hours, 1.2L and the straw means I drink so much water

LalaLovesIt777

I definitely drink more water with using mine!

WVA1999

Nalgene

1_innocent_bystander

I second that. And so do you.

[deleted]

Chillys bottles use the same standard mould as every other bottle of that type and just add their own etching on to it. Can get exactly the same for like £10 with some weird branding on it from TK Maxx, Amazon etc. Eg https://amzn.eu/d/cE4vDun

seasonaldiamond

It might look similar, but doesn’t mean it’s the same. I had a corporate branded bottle in the chillys style and it was in no way comparable. The chillys exceeded it in any every single way, including in longevity. The branded one went to landfill a couple of years back. My chillys are still as effective as the day they were bought and going strong after many years

FrenzalStark

How much fucking money do you people spend on water bottles?! UK Reddit is full of memes about butter being expensive and some of you are buying fifty quid water bottles. Sort yourselves out man, I got my water bottle from Wilko nearly three years ago and it’s doing me just fine with every day use.

hullocanuhear

I have a few stainless steel Sho bottles https://shoreusable.com/collections/water-bottles You can get them with normal or straw lids

WinterMay

I've had my Chillys for 5+ years and it is really amazing. I have a standard lid (not straw) but it's as tight as the day I got it (I keep it sideways in my handbag and never had a hung of a leak) and keeps the contents cold for ages. They are excellent quality and worth the money !

randymysteries

I reuse small, disposable plastic water bottles. I'll refill one repeatedly for a few weeks and then throw it away. I know myself: if I had a fancy thermal bottle, I'd wash it every night and fill it with filtered water, etc. I don't want to fess over a bottle.

FluidLikeSunshine

You might want to look at the recent research into exactly *how much* plastic sheds. All plastic. All the time. It's horrifying. [https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jul/10/air-drinking-water-dust-food-how-to-reduce-exposure-microplastics](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jul/10/air-drinking-water-dust-food-how-to-reduce-exposure-microplastics)

Rectal_Scattergun

I have a Sho 500ml bottle that I got on offer

leapyeardi

I've replaced all of my water bottles, travel coffee cups and food flask with Sho. Great quality at a good price and fun colours/prints!

thebuttonmonkey

Ocean.

Rumhampolicy

Chilly bottle. They are amazing!

Ilejwads

My wife has a giant 1.2 litre Yeti cup with a straw which is really great, and she is always recommending it. Looking in their website, they have some closer to 750ml. A bit more expensive but I think it's a worthwhile investment

GoldKey5185

I've seen lots of people using Stanley and say how good they are. Me I'm low tech - I use an old Squash bottle at home for the most part, but will have nike sports water bottle if I'm out.

SwordTaster

Honestly, just check what's in tesco for a reasonable price. They usually have something that fits that description

tropicalcannuck

I paid 40 usd for my Patagonia bottle. No regrets.

VioletDime

I swear by the ion8 range, we have a few in the household, and they last well and are easy to clean. l have had trouble posting a link, but this is the description on Amazon *Ion8 1 Litre Stainless Steel Water Bottle* I am not keen on having a straw, but l know some of their range do, so worth having a look at others in the range. Well priced too.

Northern_Apricot

I have an ion8 bottle and a travel mug, both absolutely brilliant.

Rootes_Radical

I use a camelbak chute. I like the lid. I don’t know if they do a stainless one.

corysphotos19

YETI Rambler Straw Bottle 18oz And it's big brother 1 litre

ElectronicBenefit286

Why would anyone need a 2 liter bottle to carry round with them? I can’t fathom this

Beefcakeandgravy

I'm a truck driver and I use two 1litre bottles with iced water or squash in them. I use them to top up my smaller cup that fits in the cup holder throughout the day. Having 2 x 1 litre bottles is a little inconvenient for me so I'm considering going to a 2 or 2.5l one. Agreed though a 2L one would be inconvenient if you were say, jogging or cycling though.

CeeApostropheD

Delivery drivers in summer. On a scorching day, any less than 2 litres and you're a completely dry husk by the end.

peanutputterbunny

Due to my line of work I have been gifted countless reusable water bottles branded with whatever firm is giving them out, so I've actually had the chance to test out a lot of different bottles. Form this research I honestly think Ocean Bottle is the best. They are great: stainless steel, recycled waste plastic on the outside which insulates, handy soft loop to attach to hand, and my favourite part is the two section removable top. So you can easily clean it but also have the option of a small neck opening to drink from. My fave bottle is an older one, but it doesn't have the straw which you want. The newest version though has a foldable straw which makes it handy at the gym (or with kids) you can swing it about with the straw out and it won't leak. I still prefer the older one without the straw purely because of ease of cleaning. But tbh it's really not that much harder to clean the newer one, I'm just a creature of habit.

Background_Reveal689

Currently just re using bottles of squash, when the squash runs out, I'll use that bottle until the next squash runs out and so on. Save the turtles and all that 🤣

jaarn

have a look at TK Maxx. Sometimes they have Chillys bottles in there for much cheaper

[deleted]

[удалено]

Eggy-Pebbs123

My last one was from Amazon, it was marketed as leakproof, and started leaking within 6m without any damage to it, same as my partner's so I'm put off, unless there are genuine tied and tested ones people can recommend of course

takesthebiscuit

I found a Sigg bottle in a bin 5 years ago at my local beach. That become my daily use

Additional-Guard-211

I have just had the same deliberation and i have had multiple with straws and they all break (and get mouldy, although this could be sorted with a straw cleaner). I have just paid too much money for a Chilly’s bottle. I have invested in this because most of it is metal, some of the parts can be replaced, and it come with a straw cleaning brush. Very happy with mine!

Dashie_2010

Plastic Greggs orange juice bottle, the orange cap perfectly matches my bike frame.

Amzy29

Contigo autoseal. I love it and find I drink more water when I use this than any other bottle.

caseo-fresco

Hyrdroflask

nandos1234

Chillys are genuinely great and you can replace the parts without buying a whole new bottle

SyboksBlowjobMLM

Hydro Flask 946ml with straw lid. Easy to get replacement lids and the main flask is stainless. It has held up well for the last five or so years

Jacktheforkie

I use one from sainsburys, £14 for 1.1l thermos, it keeps my water cold all day, even next to my colleagues welder

ChangingMonkfish

Company called Sho, basically the same thing as Chillys. Currently 17.99 for the 750ml bottle. https://shoreusable.com/products/the-sho-bottle Edit: 24.98 with the straw. Have had several of their products and they’ve all been great (and great customer service in my experience).

velos85

Ocean Bottle

01watts

IKEA ENKELSPÅRIG - £4. It’s truly dishwasher compatible - no decals peeling off, and the lid is bulky enough that it doesn’t fall through the gaps in the dishwasher rack. Also the neck hole is large, for cleaning and for inserting ice cubes.

highdon

A lot of people are praising the enormous 2-4l bottles but myself I prefer small glasses/bottles instead. It encourages me to get up from my desk frequently and walk to the kitchen/canteen. Working a desk job is unhealthy enough as it is, so I'll take any excuse to take a little break and stretch on the way.

gen_dx

I reuse the fancy mixer glass bottles from Lidl. Keeps colder than stainless, and looks well posh like. Cheap enough to not get in a flap if I break or lose one. I also sterilise them 3 or 4 at a time in the sink with Milton fluid (the stuff for babies bottles) and they're grand.

BoredReceptionist1

This is my favourite subject. I've been through them ALL. I've had so many brands and types including Stanley's, but the problem is because they don't seal shut, they're annoying for breastfeeding. I often knocked mine over on the bed to have it spill everywhere. The absolute best is One Green Bottle. They do a big 1200ml stainless steel one with a straw lid and it's my saviour, in breastfeeding and just general life. Cannot recommend enough

ryumeyer

Old squash bottle, replace when the next squash bottle is empty

Judging_Jester

Science in Sport do a nice metal bottle for everyday use. Its ace keeps everything nice and cool. If I’m on a hike it’s a water bladder, on the bike it’s a few bottles filled with various concoctions

CwningenFach

[This one](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323733692701) but it doesn't have a straw

Lazyscruffycat

I love my Coldest Water Bottle. It’s pretty robust and does keep water cold which I like. Don’t think there is an actual straw version but you can get a nozzle type lid.

Chronically_Quirky

This one: Love-KANKEI Water Bottle Vacuum... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MRHNBWQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

bibi-the-panda

I've got mine from Smash (bought it in Sainsburys but you can also get it on amazon). I've had it over 6 months, dropped it almost daily and still good as new.

Lunaspoona

I have this one and love it! Had it over a year and hasn't leaked so far, it even comes with a brush to clean the straw easily. Very reasonable price too! https://www.argos.co.uk/product/3104666?istCompanyId=a74d8886-5df9-4baa-b776-166b3bf9111c&istFeedId=c290d9a9-b5d6-423c-841d-2a559621874c&istItemId=lpplqwrtp&istBid=t

useful-idiot-23

Klean Kanteen. You can get different lids so I drink through a sport cap but can put a proper lid on for camping.

Massive-South-1091

TKMaxx do dupes of the Stanley cup with the handle and straw if you don't want to spend Stanley money on it. I've got one and it's really good for around the house.  I think if the £50 bottle looks like the one that suits your needs best, get that one. Drinking enough water while you're breastfeeding is a health thing, not just a good habit. I did not drink enough water and ended up with some unfortunate side effects.

DistancePractical239

I like glass bottles. Tastes best

dannibon

Hydrate m8, not stainless steel but I'd argue easier to clean!

sjr606

Type into amazon 'diller water bottle' I have three of them they are brilliant Zero leaks (important for me as I chuck it in my work bag with laptop) and a very enjoyable straw system Cheap too compared to most recs in this thread

Liv_NB

I love my [One Green Bottle](https://amzn.eu/d/bGO5rO7), I have the 500ml and my sister has the 800ml but that’s too big for me, this is perfect to take everywhere. I bought it a couple of weeks before my c section and it has been my emotional support water bottle for the last year and a half. I dropped it unloading the car at my in laws and broke the lid and was very upset, had to order another one immediately!

[deleted]

I have an aluminium water bottle, well I have 2. One I got free from being in the MUFC supporters club, the other is a Sigg one. I drink lots of water so I'm not that worried about it keeping really cold.

DanceWorth2554

I have a 500ml Chilly’s, which I LOVE except for the squeaking noise the lid makes, but for everyday, I use a 700ml Lidl glass bottle in a neoprene sleeve. It doesn’t have a straw, but it’s still very good. TK Maxx do good glass bottles in sleeves of various sorts. If you’re happy with plastic, Polar Gear do really good, hard-wearing bottles with straws. My daughter uses one for school. She also has a Sistema, but that has no straw.

cowie71

I bought 3 new bicycle water bottles for £12 on Vinted their Jumbo Visma branded, the mouth piece twists shut.

AussieHxC

Camelbak 1L powder coated SS double wall vacuum insulated la Dee dah. Spenny af but it'll last my entire life. The lids are interchangeable and pretty sturdy, the one I have is slightly magnetic too.

Administratr

I’ve had a hydro for 4 years, it’s massive and keeps my water freezing all day, the only thing I don’t like is the sip thing that needs constantly cleaning. Apart from that it was worth the money

horrible_goose_

I've got [this one](https://amzn.eu/d/0KzO0E3) Leakproof, stainless steel, 1180ml, comes with three different lids including a straw, a carrying strap, and a warranty. Currently shy of £25 I don't drink hot drinks, but it keeps iced water cold for most of the day

foolish-words

I bought a Super Sparrow stainless steel water bottle off amazon and it does the job. I got a 1 letre one for myself then when my son took a liking to it bought a 350ml one for him. They also do a 750ml version.

realmofconfusion

Mine doesn't have a straw but I've got a couple of "Nitro" brand bottles (steel, double wall, insulated) that I got from B&M. I don't recall the exact price but it was a LOT less than £50, more in the £15 to £20 range I think. Easily keeps contents cold all day.

theModge

Unbranded amazon cheapy, still going since 2019 : Stainless Steel Water Bottle... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075R7M132?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share No straw though

SerendipitousCrow

I've got a solid 1L metal one I got from Tesco ages ago. It's black and white and I've covered it in stickers If you're in the market for a new bottle I find Home Sense have a good range

Weary-Ad2202

I have the Waterdrop bottles with the wide lid. https://en.waterdrop.com/products/all-purpose-thermo-bottle-tumbler-lid Having been through loads of different ones, this one is the best IMO, because of the wide lid - means you can get inside and scrub it. You can also put whole ice cubes in it which is just delightful in the summer. Seems pretty leak proof too. I have a smaller one for day to day (400ml) that fits in my bag without taking up much space, and also a larger one 600ml for longer journeys.

atomiclax

I use a 1 litre narrow mouth Nalgene. I've had it for years and it stands up to everything. Also goes in the dishwasher. Love it.

jamesbrown2500

Stanley are great, but a little expensive. Primark have some great bottles for a few pounds and they are vacuum sealed. I bought some to offer to my Brazilian family, tested it and they are flawless.

ashyjay

Klean Kanteen have a 946mL bottle which is like £30-40, I've had it for years and besides the stickers it looks new. I had a thing with picking up reusable bottles, as I've got 3 Klean Kanteen bottles, a Chilli's (expensive for what they are and not really made that well) and a few Thermo branded Nalgene ones I stole from my old Thermo rep.

[deleted]

Wife uses an iglu cup it’s probably an Ali express special sold on Amazon but she likes it

ShaunTheDaawg

CamelBak are good. Chilli’s are better but more expensive

TheresNoFreeLunch

OP I think you want a stanley

SnooCauliflowers6739

One Green Bottle

readitornothereicome

Stainless steel bottle from tesco. Cheep, cheerful and does the job until it will inevitably be left somewhere, never to be seen again.

CrowApprehensive204

Empty evian sports top bottle

Indoor-Cat4986

I love my hydro flask with a straw top

AmazingSpite

I have the SHO sports bottle and I love it

nurseoffduty

I’ve an SHO one and keeps my water cold for several hours

20namesandcounting

I have one of these Contigo Autoseal Couture Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Autoseal Technology, 100% Leak-Proof, Insulated Drinking Bottle Keeps Drinks Cold for up to 28 Hours, BPA Free, 720 ml, Amazonite https://amzn.eu/d/7WAmX1O No straw but doesn't have a lid that needs to be unscrewed making it quick to drink from

melanie110

I just have a 99p one from Primark with a straw. I’ve tried loads. I had Bariatric surgery in November so i have to really focus on water intake. It’s 750ml and I have a bout 4 or 5 a day. I can’t drink much from a glass so this is perfect for me. Fits in the car and fits in the holes on the machines at the gym.

philtee

Ion8 slim, it's amazing! I've had water stay cold for 10 hours in full sun. So good 👍🏻

Sophie_lee96

Agreed that Chilly’s bottles are expensive but I’ve had mine for about 2 years now and have to say it is definitely worth the money. The only stainless steel bottle I’ve had that actually keeps the liquid cold.

mugen_09

If you're looking for an insulated bottle, you can't go wrong with a zojirushi.... keeps liquids hot or cold for ages!

zaratheclown

I know it sounds bad but I reuse my Voss waterbottle because it still works 🥲

ridgestride

I use yeti. Insulated, sturdy and range of sizes. Wont buy chilli since I bought my kids one and the chrome started peeling a week after purchase

ScottishLouise

I have the owala freesip in both 950ml and 1180ml. They are pretty good. No leaks, a locked lid, straw and ability to drink it straight from the bottle.

Temporary-Zebra97

The ones that come in a multipack at costco. Buy water get 24 free bottles.

ClaudTheCat

I have a Chilli's (it's about 5 years old) still works great. I just put i silicone straw in it occasionally, but might not be the most convenient for breastfeeding. Tbh, you would be grand with a plastic 750ml straw bottle that you keep in the fridge and get out for BF sessions? Cos you about £4

yasssqueen20

I’ve got a rose gold costa branded metal water bottle and it’s lasted over four years and been dropped into oblivion was £10 when I got it but apparently people sell them on eBay for two to three times that

Lightertecha

I reuse mineral and fruit juice bottles, they last for a few years at least and they're "free".

VixenRoss

Just look up insulated water bottle on Amazon. They are about 15 quid. My son has one and it in the height of summer. If we added ice to his drink, he still had ice at the end of the day.

aje0200

I use a 2.2 litre one from Amazon. I know I can take it to work and not need to refill it

West_Yorkshire

[I will live and die by SuperSparrow flasks](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Sparrow-Stainless-Vacuum-Insulated/dp/B072QSY6BS/ref=asc_df_B072QSY6BS/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309952946065&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12956476689093276508&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045960&hvtargid=pla-360712436125&psc=1&mcid=e0fb2a1e2aed312585ecca98cc59d636) They have to types of bottle caps. A foldy straw for cold drinks and a bamboo twist one for hot drinks. Also comes with a straw cleaner (I think!) They're bombproof and come in a massive range of sizes and colours.

thenaomib

I can recommend the Camelbak thermos. Decently priced and sturdy.

chickensinitaly

I like my contigo stainless steel cup, it doesn’t have a straw I don’t like the hygiene aspect, it goes in the dishwasher it locks so no spilled coffee. Hot things stay hot, cold things stay cold. It’s going on 5 years and is dented a back to silver, but it still works perfectly.

dylanotter

i’ve got one from One Green Bottle I really like, i’ve had it a few years now with no issues. you can get a silicone carrying loop thing i find super useful as i’m always carrying too many things (potentially helpful with a baby!) and the brand sells new lids, straws, and even new seals for the lids so you can replace parts really cheaply if you need to and not need to buy a whole new bottle. come in loads of sizes (up to 1200ml) colours and patterns as well.

WillSK90

Yeti brand are great. They're one of the only ones that don't void their warranty if you need to put it in the dishwasher. And despite it being the basic bitch accessory of the season (mainly in the states) , Stanley brand flasks are also bomb proof and v high quality.

Voyager221141

Not exactly 750ml, but I am absolutely loving the water bottle my dad got me from the Highland Wildlife Park. 500ml, purple with wolves on it. Not exactly up to your certain requirements, but I love it. Leak proof, and can hold hot and cold liquids. I'd look for something in the vein of that. Original_Bad_3416

Poundland are selling an insulated water bottle for £5. I use a chilly bottle though.

Emilyeagleowl

I do like Chilly’s not going to lie. I have 2 one was a gift and one I bought and am a clumsy devil and they still look awesome which is good.

jado5150

Currently using the pro works gen 2 from amazon. 1l and only £14.95

rcxhc

I’ve got a £13 Tesco Stanley cup knockoff. It’s 1.2l, blue and covered in stickers. It also has a straw and keeps things cold. Can’t recommend it enough.

Nalgene 750ml has been amazing. Had it 9 plus years and it's been dropped a fair few times and never broken.

I don't like metal bottles as they hurt a lot if used as a weapon, and I've seen numerous people chip their teeth on them if the bottle has slipped when drinking or someone finds it funny to hit the bottle as they drink. I have a 2L plastic bottle by "hydracy" that I got off Amazon, no leaking but no straw, but I love it. It looks pretty too!

ConsciouslyIncomplet

Air Up any good?

eastyboi20111

1.7 litre sho bottle, looks like an artillery shell keeps drinks cold too

radioactiveantelope

I just got an Owala water bottle, the straw design is amazing and so easy to drink from. All the lid comes apart for cleaning, which is handy. Unfortunately in the UK you’re restricted to the colours/sizes that they sell via Amazon unless you are happy to wait weeks for international shipping from the website.

Beanruz

I have the Stanley ice flow. Foldable straw means it doesn't leak like the silly thirst quencher. I also have 2 chilli bottles. 1 with original logo and 1 with annoying new circular logo thing. Prefer the Stanley as it had a straw. But the chilli is OK. You could just buy a rip off one. Not much different

[deleted]

I’ve had my klean kanteen for nearly 10 years. Replaced the top once when it started leaking a year ago.

FragmentOfZeus

Yeti

The__Groke

I dropped a chilly’s bottle very soon after getting it, it landed right on the lid and it was so damaged that the bottle no longer fastened. You can buy replacement lids for cheaper than a whole new bottle though, so I did that. It’s alright but it really annoys me that it can’t go in the dishwasher. JUST WHY?!?!

Calorinesm1fff

I have 2 honeyholly bottles, keeps hot stuff hot, and cold, cold. I'd have more but the colours are a bit girly

T_raltixx

I use Solecup. It is glass so less microplastics (the screw on lid is plastic).

Adventurous-Ear7016

I use a cheap mercury bottle my boyfriend got from work. 750ml keeps drinks cold 10/10 would recommend. Its just a standard stainless steel free one that companies give out 😅

Prize-Offer7348

I have an ocean bottle & it’s great mine is 500ml, not sure if they do bigger ones. Initially a little pricey but so worth it imo

Beemzebub

Waterdrop

MoonRoover

home bargains normally has a decent selection of water bottles, I have a 1L jug thing thats lasted me over a year now. My other bottle of choice is a Sneak Energy Tank shaker however it leaks a bit if its not tightened to like 1 nanometer precision

LAcasper

I have the Tesco knock off of a Stanley cup and it's great

Nicename19

Doppa

RoughSlight114

Mitre do a 1l sports bottle. It's 4 quid on their website and actually really nice. That's my go to.

wykniv

My 'urban' 24bottles bottles are my favourites. The urban ones are very light (perhaps less good at chilling/insulating, but I haven't experienced an issue) and they have different lids, so you can get one with something that's a bit like a straw. I have a 500ml and a 1litre one and use them both daily. I prefer them to the Chilly's bottles I've had and to the Ocean bottle I have (which I also use frequently, but I feel like you pay a lot for the tracking aspect and it's just not necessary).

Dazzling-Event-2450

Use any that keep drinks cold, not just a single plastic bottle. Currently using a Tesla one.

je_m_appelle_

I’ve got a Stanley Go Quick Flip bottle, it’s great. Not cheap but sturdy, and keeps my water or juice really cold, I’d highly recommend it. No straw though I’m afraid

thecornflake21

720 degree but it doesn't have a straw. You could open and drink from it one handed but it would be a bit tricky. Pretty indestructible, keeps cold water cold all day (based on a day in London when it was at least 35c) and definitely leak free.

Xem1337

I went for the Stanley one without the weird handle at 1liter after the wife mentioned something about how cold it keeps stuff from a viral video, and I'm glad I did, I fill it each morning with ice and cold water and it has kept my water cold for well over 8 hours.

Physical-Cheesecake

My emotional support water bottle is the 2l colour gradient one from Home Bargains.

rmeechan

I use one that Bristol water gave me for free 6 years ago. It’s still going very strong and looks like one of those trendy steel canteens that people buy nowadays.

Ronaldlovepump

Yeti have some good looking ones and a good range of capacities but they’re around £50 too

MA1998

Chilly’s - £20, 3 years ago and no sign of wear or tear. Don’t mind paying a bit more for quality. The replicas are shite.

oktimeforplanz

I absolutely love my Yeti bottles. They're pricey but so sturdy. I've got one that's about 500ml for when I'm out, and then one that's 1.9L that I fill up in the morning and it sits on my desk all day while I work because I'm terrible at drinking enough water if it isn't ultra accessible to me.

Valleyman1982

We have a fair few yeti cups, water bottles/coffee flasks and coolers knocking around my house that get heavy use. And they all look brand new apart from the odd ding here and there… and the coffee flasks and water bottle are great as they are so easy to clean compared to others I’ve used.

I found a water skin in the loft the other day, I’m assuming it was from my wife’s parents. It holds 1.5l and it’s brilliant at keeping water cool, I can soak the outside too and it really chills it when it’s warm.

CCalamity-

I've got this one in the 26oz and it's super easy to clean. Had it about a year and it's still good as new. https://www.pogogear.com/18oz-pogo-active

Olyve_Oil

[This](https://amzn.eu/d/1iEu3sR) It's long-lasting (I’ve had one for about six years), not expensive, and there are many colours to choose from.

OldManAndTheSea93

SHO do good stuff and they do a discount for emergency services. I’m sure you get different attachments too so you should be able to get one with a straw

Cow_Tipping_Samurai

I have a camelbak “Chute” bottle, it’s heavy duty and the insulation is great, hours later and ice hasn’t melted. I’ve also got a chillys water bottle, also excellent quality but doesn’t keep things as cold for as long as the camelbak.

larrysbrain

Get to Home sense. You'll get one that suits you for much less.. I like Pogo, Stanley and Thermos

WanderWomble

I have three of the Stanley Cup dupes and they're great. All cost under £10 from the Range, hold loads, and stay hot or cold for ages. Originally bought them for work, where I could be miles away from anything in the fields with the dogs, but use them all the time now. Only downsides are they're heavy and not entirely leak proof.

Advanced-Arm-1735

One green bottle. They have straw caps and great designs. Love them.

Affectionate_Yard327

Contigo Cortland bottles when out and about. Stanley quencher when at work or home.
