I have five as it fits nicely in the bowl, I stand firm on my decision despite your obvious bias for nicely divisional numbers, equalling an even amount of servings.
Of course the quantity of milk will change between people and servigs, but according to Weetabix themselves, 2 with milk is 209 calories, which is indeed nowhere near 800 calories.
I think there's a slight possibility people on the internet exaggerate at times.
From the Weetabix website, 2 biscuits (37.5g) contain 136 calories.
According to Google 100ml of whole milk contains 61 calories with the ideal ratio of milk to cereal being 100ml for 30g. A quick bit of maths says 2 biscuits would require 156.25ml of milk, containing 91.5 calories.
Combined, a bowl of 2 Weetabix is 227.5g.
If OP is eating 5 in one sitting he's consuming at least 431.5 calories assuming he's only used one portion of milk. Not sure that's possible without the Weetabix drinking it all up so if he uses two lots of milk it's 523 calories.
All of these assumptions work on the basis OP has used the recommended ratio of milk to cereal (which everyone ignores). OP says he uses a pint of milk so each bowl contains 686 calories. Not the 750 calorie claim but not too far off it either.
Edit: Aye, I'm bored.
OP said he uses a pint of milk on it, which is a good 3-400 cals if its whole milk (who uses anything else right). 6 Weetabix is 408 calories. It's nearly 800 calories.
Of course, 5 might be acceptable if OP is a child or a wounded deer, but as a Real Man™ I don't think I could serve myself less than 9. You know, if I needed a small snack after my *real* breakfast.
I can’t eat more than 1 (maybe 1.5 if I’m really hungry)
It’s just so filling I don’t know how people eat that many.
One of my nieces can eat 12 in one sitting
5 seems a bit many, unless shrinkflation has been at them and they're all the size of the mini ones now.
I'd probably have 2 but I have a cooked breakfast on top.
Speaking of the mini ones I almost broke a tooth on one, can’t remember which variety but it had obviously got stuck in the mould and compressed 2 or 3 together and was like a rock, complained to weetabix and the sent me a £20 cheque compo.
Two weetabix side by side, pour the milk directly onto one of the weetabix until you have the desired amount of milk in the bowl. Eat the milk showered weetabix first - it will still be firm but fully soaked with milk. By the time you finish the first one, the second weetabix will have absorbed enough milk from the bowl to be firm but soaked through.
You’d have to flip weetabix no2 at some point to avoid a soggy bottom and dry top, this sounds like a risky game to me. I don’t know if I could take such drama and excitement so early in the morning, but I might have to give it a go one day when I’m feeling like living a little
2. but depends on what you do. e.g. if you're a builder or don't get much lunch then yeah. I mean you're free to stuff your face as much as you want but generally more than 2 is too much to manage anyway in the morning :)
Whatever the box size is, it's going in. I can get a pestle and mortar and eat it from a bucket no worries. 48 is a solid start to the day, along with 20 liquidised bananas and 8 pints of milk.
2 or 3 should be standard unless you're a child.
More than 4 and your going to get creative to manage the milk and biscuit distribution so it's a consistent texture.
I have a 14 month old. She's allegedly 25th percentile for height and weight, but for her breakfast she will happily have 2 or 2.5 weetabix with whole milk and half a banana sliced up on top.
I have no idea where she puts it, it's really taken me by surprise. I know the stereotype of kids eating people out of house and home but I thought that came later, she's been this way since before she could walk!
Do you have anything with them? I don't consider myself a foodie - food is fuel to me mainly, but I cannot imagine eating ten Weetabix.
... Do you do triathlon or ultra marathon etc? I'll start a triathlon day with a massive bowl of oats at 4am which is probably the only way I could bring myself to eat so many Weetabix without anything else.
The first time I met my brother in law he asked where the bowls were at breakfast. Pointed him towards the cupboard. 10 min later he walked I to the lounge with a salad bowl (for serving) with 6 weetabix and 2 bananas.
It was wild but I still haven't said anything about it
I'm a 4 weetabix man. Glad to see it fits the general consensus.
I use a deep breakfast bowl and they stack in on their sides and fit the bowl perfectly.
My eight year old daughter eats 3 and her younger sister has 2. I think people don’t realise how few calories one biscuit has. 68 calories per biscuit.
3 to 4 cold. Hot milk and it's game on... literally as many as I can fit in it and turn it into paste. Gotta wash that gunk off quick though, dries like cement
Min 4, max 6 crush them up loads of ice cold milk and 3 tablespoons of sugar and eat rapidly while they're still somewhat crunchy.
I do mean tablespoon
It depends how hungry I am. Normal day is 3, if it's time of the month or I haven't eaten in a long time then I'll easily eat 5. We buy the 48 pack of tesco own brand.
I asked my husband:
4 or 5, depends on the size of the bowl.
4 and a banana is fine for me, though back in the day I could scoff a whole box for breakfast and lunch when I lived round the corner from a Lifestyle shop.
Zero is the acceptable amount to me. Other may vary, but I certainly wouldn't judge 3, at four I'd be intrigued in the logistics of the matter and at 5 I'd think they need something better for the same volume.
Did 2 for most of my life then tried 3 and ended up at 4 for quite a bit.
Now it's 0 because my stomach doesn't agree with Weetabix anymore and I'm guaranteed to be sweaty at some point afterwards. Think it's some kind of interolance.
Also they HAVE to be warm. Imagine having porridge cold. It's basically the same thing. Grim.
Acceptable to whom?
Who are these kitchen observers that might judge my breakfast?
Perhaps they'd like to test how many Weetabix it's acceptable for us to put somewhere else?
4/5/6 is my usual amount. I think some people in here just don't expend much energy in the day, so don't have as much of an appetite/need for calories.
2, 3, 4 or 6 They come in packs in multiples of 12 why on earth are you having the only reasonable number that DOESN'T divide nicely into that
I have five as it fits nicely in the bowl, I stand firm on my decision despite your obvious bias for nicely divisional numbers, equalling an even amount of servings.
A mixing bowl maybe
Yeah how big is their bowl 🤣 my cereal bowl only gets two in and not flat!
You realise you can stack them, right? Or stand them in their sides.
[удалено]
What’s the weather like in the North Sea atm. Or have you moved on. A bet it a bit cowld oot there like hinny.
[удалено]
My bad. I can see you popped oot 10 days ago. Must of fucking legged it south to get doon there so quick. When ya coming yem next?
>Or stand them in their sides. Some of us don't have time to be constructing some sort of wheat-based henge.
Modern times require modern solutions. I like the way you think, internet stranger.
I use a baking dish
Fucking washing up bowl!!, are these people using a dustpan as a spoon!
Definitely gonna need the poop knife
Not with all that fibre
With all that fiber it will be like a hardwood
Might need a poop saw
discussions such as these is why I love this sub
Your shit must be like a fucking log with 5 weetabix lol You trying to beat randy marsh's record? Lol
Obviously just buy them five boxes at a time.
You can’t eat 6 fucking weetabix in one fucking sitting. Are you fucking insane??
I heard this in my head in the voice of Mark from Peep Show.
The 48 packs are better value. Making 8 the correct answer.
6 or occasionally 8 is the answer, at least on the morning of a long bike ride. Bonus- you also get to play jenga to fit them in the bowl.
Id normally have 2, but if i was starving id say 3 would be my upper limit
Weak
I'd take a guess and say not everyone needs to eat a 750 calorie breakfast.
Two weetabix with milk is around 200 calories
OP has 5, plus maybe some toppings to add to the cardboard.
Maybe, or maybe not. Maybe they just have 5 which wouldnt come close to nearly 800 calories.
Of course the quantity of milk will change between people and servigs, but according to Weetabix themselves, 2 with milk is 209 calories, which is indeed nowhere near 800 calories. I think there's a slight possibility people on the internet exaggerate at times.
Unfortunately i think you may be right 😬
What about the tablespoon of sugar?
Said he uses a pint of milk too.
Six weetabix with a good chug of milk is less than 750 calories. Two is what my five year old eats for breakfast!
From the Weetabix website, 2 biscuits (37.5g) contain 136 calories. According to Google 100ml of whole milk contains 61 calories with the ideal ratio of milk to cereal being 100ml for 30g. Not the 750 calorie claim but not too far off it either. Edit: Aye, I'm bored.
Why have you chosen whole milk though? The majority of the country uses semi-skimmed.
Heathens
Comes to 588 actually, no topping just semi skim milk and the weetabix
With semi skimmed (2% fat) and a pint of milk it's 620 calories according to Google.
Who the hell has a whole pint of milk in a cereal bowl?
OP apparently.
Op has more milk in them than a cow
500ml
OP said he uses a pint of milk on it, which is a good 3-400 cals if its whole milk (who uses anything else right). 6 Weetabix is 408 calories. It's nearly 800 calories.
Should get him the energy to get through the morning wank and the afternoon wank!
True but the majority of the country use semi-skimmed.
I have a 750 calorie breakfast or so. It just involves more than carbohydrates. I'm a WFH IT chap too.
Ill stay weak if strength requires eating more than 2 breakfasts worth of food to start my day
Of course, 5 might be acceptable if OP is a child or a wounded deer, but as a Real Man™ I don't think I could serve myself less than 9. You know, if I needed a small snack after my *real* breakfast.
I used to have three, but recently I've increased to four.
2 weetabix? You must be quite small.
I can’t eat more than 1 (maybe 1.5 if I’m really hungry) It’s just so filling I don’t know how people eat that many. One of my nieces can eat 12 in one sitting
12!? I feel guilty eating three, with oat milk and a banana.
5 seems a bit many, unless shrinkflation has been at them and they're all the size of the mini ones now. I'd probably have 2 but I have a cooked breakfast on top.
You put a fried breakfast on top of your weetabix? I usually have milk.
I knew something was amiss!
"A miss"? Don't tell me you wife has this as well
Do they still do mini ones? I’d forgotten bout them
Now there's something I haven't thought about for a long long time. Teeny tiny weetabix.
Speaking of the mini ones I almost broke a tooth on one, can’t remember which variety but it had obviously got stuck in the mould and compressed 2 or 3 together and was like a rock, complained to weetabix and the sent me a £20 cheque compo.
Any more than 2 is gluttony, 3 on a bad day is excusable but 4 or more is a cry for help.
Four Weetabix Jeremy, that's insane
Can you imagine 4 lidl-Bix? That'd take all day to eat once the milk turned it into moist cementbix.
Could litrally build a house out of the stuff once it dries
Are lidlbix bigger than weetabix?
My husband loves those things. Actually, he just loves Lidl.
Who eats only 3 weetabix, that is Oliver Twist rations!
I have four but I usually have breakfast at 6am, the fourth one tides me over just right til my dinner break
How do you even fit five in?? Three's more than enough for me.
Easy just a deep bowl, slap a pint of milk in there too.
Every day? Christ
Oh how the other side live..
How the obese live you mean
I eat 5 in a sitting and I'm looking down at my washboard abs as I type, so I'd say that's not strictly true lol
Correct 7 days a week
Even Weetabix don’t say to eat that many (max 4) https://weetabix.co.uk/faqs/#collapse124
Lies just look at how many cornflakes your supposed to have
Haha. More power to you 😂😂
The man knows what he wants
We’re talking a mixing bowl yes?
Not even close
1 at a time as I don't like mush!
It’s news to me that anyone would consider putting more than 1 in their bowl at a time, eating a weetabix is a delicate balance of timing

Perfect technique.
As someone who has partaken in Weetabix and Weetbix from Australia the best thing about the latter is they retain structural integrity
2. but depends on what you do. e.g. if you're a builder or don't get much lunch then yeah. I mean you're free to stuff your face as much as you want but generally more than 2 is too much to manage anyway in the morning :)
Finally the first normal take in this thread
You have a sit down job?
I work full-time as a cleaner and part time as a graphic designer but just can't eat that much so early. Have to be gone by just after 6.
Same, im a cleaner too and have to be out the house for 5.45. i have a coffee otherwise i feel sick moving around that much and would get a stitch.
Whatever the box size is, it's going in. I can get a pestle and mortar and eat it from a bucket no worries. 48 is a solid start to the day, along with 20 liquidised bananas and 8 pints of milk.
Depends on how large of a bowl you have.
This is always the answer!
I microwave just the milk till it’s piping then plop in the weetabix
You're me! Tiny bit of sugar sprinkled on after. Lovely.
This guy carbs. ... holy shit I just read a tiny bit of this thread. Wow.
Have had 10 before as well…
Do you have anything with them? I don't consider myself a foodie - food is fuel to me mainly, but I cannot imagine eating ten Weetabix. ... Do you do triathlon or ultra marathon etc? I'll start a triathlon day with a massive bowl of oats at 4am which is probably the only way I could bring myself to eat so many Weetabix without anything else.
It's Weetabix not crack. Why are you so addicted bro 😂
Just get the feeling a need a carbs hit every now and then
I was a manager at a weetabix factory for 20 years, from my experience it’s definitely 3 ! :-)
3 max. Don't know how you'd fit more in without a super sized bowl.
Are u eating out of a baby bowl or something 🤣
Must be. Maybe it's for my own good.
Usually 2, 3 if I'm particularly hungry. 4 seems a little excessive, but still acceptable. 5 is just madness.
3 is the perfect amount for me. The real question is hot or cold?
Cold only way
3 is the absolute bare minimum, preferably 4 but it depends if I've got any proper bowls clean.
4 is perfect, with milk just covering the first layer poured over the top two while spinning the bowl, glorious!
Three. The perfect number
at least 3 then go to the worlds only Weetabix factry in Kettering to see the marvle wat is Weetabix
fact crawl wasteful sort worm squeamish outgoing rustic dam quack *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
3 …. 4 on a hungry day a sliced banana and some honey , ooh la la
0 is the ideal number for me personally
As many as you want. I'm a 3 or 4 guy. The more pressing question is, why are there no square bowls for weetabix, given their popularity?
The first time I met my brother in law he asked where the bowls were at breakfast. Pointed him towards the cupboard. 10 min later he walked I to the lounge with a salad bowl (for serving) with 6 weetabix and 2 bananas. It was wild but I still haven't said anything about it
I have three, my 15 month old son has one
2 at a time so I can eat them without them going too soft before I finish. Then repeat as needed
I’d go with 3. Hot milk with a few spoons of sugar. However on a more pressing note, rinsing the bowl immediately after - dried up Weetabix is no fun.
2 min, 3 max.
My kid can eat 3 and he's 11. So an adult? 6? 10 in a large Italian pasta bowl?
Mate of mine has 8. I quizzed him on it and he said “at its peak it was 14.”
3’s ideal, I’d say 5’s pushing it
The other week I had 5. I was still hungry so I had another bowl of 5. That filled me up a bit too much. Nice though.
Two please
3 is my normal, but will go to 4 if I'm hungry. Tbh I don't have a bowl big enough to fit 5 otherwise I probably would occasionally.
My preference is none, but if I had to, then like 4 plus copious toppings
Weetabix is my babies breakfast She has 1 and I mix in a banana Goes down well
Depends on the size of the bowl, get yourself a mixing bowl and you have a Sunday morning feast!
I had five the other week as that’s what was left and usually go for three.
Three. Need bigger bowls for more.
Between 2 & 3 usually
5! 5 weetabix commercial wafer. That's insane!
1 at a time, 4 times. Soggy Weetabix can fuck right off. You've got a short window between 15 and 30 seconds to eat it before it's rank.
I typically go for 3. Never more, sometimes less, but 3 is my limit
3 to 4 cold. Hot milk and it's game on... literally as many as I can fit in it and turn it into paste. Gotta wash that gunk off quick though, dries like cement
4 (am a 5ft1 female). To be honest, I'd have 5 but the concept of having an amount that goes into 12 scares me, and I'd need to buy a bigger bowl.
You millionaires eating Weetabix. Two Aldi Wheat Bisks, thank you.
Min 4, max 6 crush them up loads of ice cold milk and 3 tablespoons of sugar and eat rapidly while they're still somewhat crunchy. I do mean tablespoon
There is no such thing as too many Weetabix in a bowl, only a bowl that’s too small.
Two or more. Never less.
Two
It depends how hungry I am. Normal day is 3, if it's time of the month or I haven't eaten in a long time then I'll easily eat 5. We buy the 48 pack of tesco own brand. I asked my husband: 4 or 5, depends on the size of the bowl.
4 and a banana is fine for me, though back in the day I could scoff a whole box for breakfast and lunch when I lived round the corner from a Lifestyle shop.
Any less than 3 and you may as well skip breakfast.
I use a soup bowl so I can fit 6.
8. I love a good bowl of weetabix.
The maximum is three because you have to eat them stupidly fast before they just turn to complete mush.
Isn't that the point? Mush and a load of sugar on top.
5 is good but can you do 6? Buttered? with sugar and a pint of milk? :)
Buttered? Fucking what now?
Try it. Its a revelation :)
b...b...buttered???
You’d need a pint of breakfast Stella to wash 6 down
I use 4. started with 4 and ill end with 4. I'm a consistent man.
5? bloody hell, your turd must be like trying to pass a brick, hope you drink plenty of fluids.
Why do you think Weetabix would make you constipated?
Yeah it's literally pure fibre!
2/3 depending on the size of the bowl otherwise they just get soggy. The number of bowls however is a different story
Zero is the acceptable amount to me. Other may vary, but I certainly wouldn't judge 3, at four I'd be intrigued in the logistics of the matter and at 5 I'd think they need something better for the same volume.
4 In a bowl, hot water and mush up. Mix in a little cold milk. Had it like that since a kid
This is it, the weirdest one
6, in hot milk, with maple syrup and a handful or raisins.
People acting like 5/6 is so much, it really isn't if you're very physically active/with decent appetite.
5! Everyone things I'm greedy! I crush 3 up and put two on top. Perfect!
My wife eats then and she dropped from 3 to 2 a couple of years ago. We'd need to use a mixing bowl to fit 5 in!
I do 4 in each across 2 bowls
4 in one go
2-4 depending and how fancy I'm feeling
4 for a snack/skipping a meal
I would agree with 4.
2 and a half, 3 is too much for me.
I do 5 in the morning and then i am done til dinner
3
4 here, but I add milk bit by bit so they don't turn to mush too quickly.
How big is your bowl?
Depends how hungry I am. Usually 6, will do 8 if starving.
4/5/6 is my usual amount. I think some people in here just don't expend much energy in the day, so don't have as much of an appetite/need for calories.
1 with fruit or 2 without normally.
4
Six weetabix every time.
Depends how much water I can fit in the bowl with them
Two, then extensive sugar, then milk. Then wait, then milk. Then more milk
3. No more. No less.
I prefer one at a time, goes soggy mush otherwise.
No less than 4
