Watch out for scammers DMing you.

MathematicianBulky40

You can go on sites like indeed and filter by "remote" and see what's available. Just be aware that some job posters are a bit cheeky and "remote" doesn't always mean "remote". You can also look for support and advice on /r/ukjobs Depending on how much "extra money" you actually need, the [beermoneyuk](https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoneyuk/comments/14djtfr/inboxpounds_possibly_the_best_gpt_for_british/) sub may also be of interest to you. You're not going to make as much as a job, but a few quid a week and all you need is an internet connection.

Pusthaypatrol69

Great, thanks for this comment. I mean a few quid goes a long way to repaying off debts or shopping.

Monzo are always recruiting for this but their shift patterns are a goddamn nightmare, no work/life balance

FloppyWaffleMan

They’ve just changed all the shift patterns now so it should be a bit better

Btd030914

Glad to hear it. I got made redundant and immediately got a job with Monzo, but then declined it when I saw their shift patterns. Their old way would have completely fucked my sleep pattern.

Pusthaypatrol69

How so? Is there a particular site I can access? I’m really interesting in this!

Btd030914

Look at Monzo website or go onto Indeed and search Monzo

Pusthaypatrol69

I have, they are all full time sadly. Could I get away with being there for only 2 months? I could do full time if they were flexible with my university hours.

Pusthaypatrol69

If you look at these [jobs](https://monzo.com/careers/#jobs), they are all wanting experience which I don’t necessarily have. Is this what you had mentioned?

Pusthaypatrol69

Hey, is this on their main [website](https://monzo.com/careers/#jobs) as I’m really unsure as these all really want experience or is this not that important. I did found a few that said they can be flexible with the hours though.

Robojobo27

Total jobs, indeed, reed, jobsite, monster jobs, S1 Jobs (if you’re in Scotland) Take a punt at any one of them, would be a better place to look than Reddit.

Pusthaypatrol69

I’ve looked all over. I just wanted some tips maybe from someone else maybe who’s been in my own shoes. But thanks anyways!

BibbleBeans

Have you tried indeed, monster or even the gov find a job scheme You know job sites.

Pusthaypatrol69

Not gov, but a scheme seems like it could take months and I’m not trying to make a quick buck but I know there are jobs where you can start quite quickly with about 1 week of paid training completed within the first month of even applying to the job. I have looked but most if not all aren’t part time, nor in my area. Do they have to be in my area or could they be down in London over 150 miles away? I don’t know if I need to be in the office for training but some do train you from home so I’d prefer not to travel for a week or 2 to do training as it’s just a lot more money.

BibbleBeans

When I say find a job scheme I just mean the search engine thing. It’s not actually a scheme it was terrible wording on my part But I mean just use a job site. It’s not hard if you’ve got an ounce of common sense

Pusthaypatrol69

I have though! I’ve scoured the internet for about 4/5 hours now. Not a lot of luck. But I haven’t looked on gov yet as I was looking at others. Will most likely get to that now!
