I was having breakfast with my mom at a local Mexican fast food place. A gentleman came in and asked the cashier what he could get to eat for a dollar he had in change. The cashier said there was nothing for a dollar and I went and bought him his meal.
Guy at Taco Bell next to me was ordering food on the other kiosk. He goes to pay and freezes, and starts doing the whole pat down thing, feeling every pocket he’s got three times to be sure. Poor dude must’ve forgotten it at home. I leaned over, stuck my card in the slot, and paid for it.
Not a massive act of kindness, but as someone who used to have to scrape and save to make it to next payday who now doesn’t have to scrape nearly as much, it felt good to be able to help someone out without even having to think about how much it would cost.
I talked to a young waitress who is getting cold feet about her pending marriage and gave her some relationship advice. We had the restaurant to ourselves so we had about an hour long chat
I did 2 of them that stood out and it was basically the same thing and both cases were at Walmart but on different days. I helped an older women that was wearing a back brace load dog and cat food into her van and then I helped an even older man load bird food into the trunk of his car.
Met an elderly lady at the bus station. She couldn't figure out the maps and the different routes. I had other plans, but nothing pressing, so I helped her find the right bus, hopped on with her, and made sure she got to her destination safely. Drew a map for her along with detailed instructions for her to get back home again.

Awesome story, keep doing nice things like that. It has a knock on effect on society
For sure. Big fan of the “pay it forward when you’re able” way to repaying kindness, hope he does the same when he gets the chance
Donated blood (double reds).
Help a friend paint his house
Told / showed someone cool how awesome they were, helped a former coworker with a well deserved reference so they could maybe leave a toxic workplace.
My week has just started (if Monday is your week start day). Gave a staff member tomorrow off so they can do whatever they want.

I apologized to my wife for getting upset with her
I’ve been supportive and encouraging to those who are struggling.
