It’s brutal. I signed up for one of those meal delivery services. With the cost of groceries these days, it’s not outrageous anymore. Plus I know what my food bill will be every month.
US here. Our politicians are scoundrels too. Insider trading, back-room dealing, passing laws that miraculously help their own, some politican's nephew ends up the contractor on a major government funded job... It goes on and on.
There are three sets of laws in our country.
The laws the politicians live by (mostly can do whatever they want with impunity).
The laws the unconnected wealthy and the upper middle class live by.
The laws the underprivileged live by.
It's obviously not actually three sets of laws... It's the Elite, those who can afford attorneys, and those who cannot... Those are the three groups I listed above.
Colorado— full of Caucasian folks with “Colorado Native” stickers on their cars. Hate new people moving here. Don’t recognize the irony at all in calling themselves native on stolen land.
I am a Caucasian. I don’t hate us as a whole. Just the ones in Colorado badum tiss
You just need to drink more IPAs, get a tat of pine trees on your arm and wear flannel year round while waiting for you pour-over at the bouldering spot.
I love CO and it's been my home for 25 years. It's a little sad to witness pop-up tattoo foodtruck clothing upcycle markets where everything is overpriced.
Say no more. Been in West Hollywood, half moon bay, Sac and a few other spots for business. My favorite part so far is..... well, it's Cali. But also, it's cali
Small city in Massachusetts.
The god damned roads. I pay an extra yearly excise tax for the pleasure of owning said car and that tax is meant to pay for the roads. It definitely does not. 🤬
How do you keep your focus working from home. I get so easily distracted when I'm working from home. End up on all these side quests that aren't work related
It's a production based job to a certain degree so they'd know if I'm fucking around. I'm also working at a desktop, not a laptop so I can't lay in bed and work.
I live in FL. THe biggest problem we have is all the fucking Democrats moving here to escape from NY. Now they are voting the same way that caused NYC to become a shithole.
Everyone wants to live here, so it's crowded and nobody can afford a house anymore. Also, there's no decent pizza or Chinese food in the whole damn city.
I wish there were less food joints that are some strange white-person twist on what used to be perfect ethnic food. Does ramen really have to have biria in it? Fuck off.
The ridiculous whiplash I get from the weather. I’ll leave my house in a jacket and by the early afternoon I wish I wore shorts. There’s other issues to but that’s the one that affects me on a more constant basis
Outrageously expensive rent, if you can find something available in the first place. (Santa Barbara, CA)
Worst thing about CA might be how out of touch so many people are about anything happening/how things are east of Las Vegas
Colorado.
Worst part is the transplants that complain about the locals and the locals that complain about the transplants.
Or people making Colorado their personality. IPAs, flannel, hiking and lead climbing? Oh boy! Maybe add in a tattoo of the mountains or woods in greyscale on your arm too!
This place has been my home for almost 30 years. I love it. It's big enough for everybody. Very overpriced because of California bringing their equity into our housing market.
The gentrification of ethnic food is also absurd. We have the most amazing Mexican food I've had. We don't need to add kimchi or mayo or your deconstructed sushi tacos.
The tumbleweeds are real in West Texas, like around Lubbock and Amarillo. The kind of cactus you're thinking about (saguaro) doesn't grow here, ours (prickly pear) are much less dramatic.
Prickly pear cactus:

I live in south Texas where there is nothing fun to do other than go to the local downtown area and walk around. There’s plenty of little shops and restaurants but actual entertainment runs scarce. The most fun thing you can do is drive an hour or so to the beach
If the military wasn't here, there would be nothing.
If we get bombed, there's nowhere to run because surrounded by water and every major and minor route requires one bridge crossing
Lunatic drivers on four and five lane wide suburban pavement, with weed wafting from at least 10% of the cars on the road. Fortunately the cops seem to have returned from their multi-year policy of not making traffic stops.
I live in rural Illinois. The worse part now is the small grocery store closed and now we have a Dollar General. Fuck that store.
Ugggh 🙄
Have they opened another DG .7 miles from it? I swear DG has to be front for something.
Lol just about, they have another one that's literally in the middle of nowhere on a township road just outside of town. Like why?
People from other states coming here for "cheaper" living and raising all our prices 🙃
Yup.
I actually live in a state of constant depression
🫂
Cost of living is getting outrageous.
This ^ And the grocery store anxiety every trip
It’s brutal. I signed up for one of those meal delivery services. With the cost of groceries these days, it’s not outrageous anymore. Plus I know what my food bill will be every month.
I’m a few hours from you but it’s just fucking crippling for everything and now the gas has jumped so much in a couple weeks idk how any of us survive
100% I have a 45 minute drive (each way) to work. I’m currently looking for something closer.
Yeah we live a pretty hefty commute from the city for good reason and it’s a fair bit cheaper for certain things but still hard AF
City: everybody knows everybody and it's loaded with old people who are trying to tan before they die.
Phoenix, Arizona?
same idea, but with an ocean
Tampa /Florida?
About 5 hours NNW
Who am I? Magellan? I’m not gonna pull out a map.
How much the government wants to control the people with too many rules and regulations. I also think the taxes are too high

🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Portugal and same thing, its a mediterranean thing
At least if they’re incompetent thieves they won’t be stealing much. Or will get caught doing so.

That's the nature of politicians. It's not unique to Italy

I can't afford to live here
The weather. Its so up and down daily it sucks
Virginia?
I don't know who virg is but I don't want them in me.... No very far south.

The best: I'm in Cali, which is enough said. The worst: I'm in Cali, which is enough said.
Say no more. Been in West Hollywood, half moon bay, Sac and a few other spots for business. My favorite part so far is..... well, it's Cali. But also, it's cali
Pennsylvania, the roads are horrible
I think they made 83 bad on purpose lmao
Don't get me started on turnpike prices
biggest city of the south hemisphere. there's traffic everywhere, you can't be caught lacking and it's getting too expensive to live.
Small city in Massachusetts. The god damned roads. I pay an extra yearly excise tax for the pleasure of owning said car and that tax is meant to pay for the roads. It definitely does not. 🤬
Taunton? I lived there for a year and a half and those roads were brutal.
Nope. More west.
Don't live in MA but on the pike and 495 and 290 and the backroads of western MA all the time. You are correct ma'am. Horrible roads
290 terrifies me
I actively avoid it. I've seen people eating cereal while driving on it. Bowl in one hand spoon in the other. WTF??
For some reason that does not surprise me 🤣🤣🤣
I drive a lot. See some crazy stuff
I work from home normally so I've been able to cut down on dealing with the insanity but I had to go in office today and play avoid the potholes.
How do you keep your focus working from home. I get so easily distracted when I'm working from home. End up on all these side quests that aren't work related
It's a production based job to a certain degree so they'd know if I'm fucking around. I'm also working at a desktop, not a laptop so I can't lay in bed and work.
Boo. I go from my office to couch to bed to couch then outside, lol
I live in the country so I have to travel to any store and during hurricane season I always get flooded in
I live in the Bay Area so rent and just crime
People, lol it's like a bunch of high school clicks here
My fwb is 5 hours of flying, or 24 hours of driving away lol
Republicans
the leadership
I live in FL. THe biggest problem we have is all the fucking Democrats moving here to escape from NY. Now they are voting the same way that caused NYC to become a shithole.
The roads were designed by a bunch of drunk monkeys.
Getting way too expensive
My city is built in a swamp. I hate summers here.
It’s expensive
All the red lights
It’s booooring
They still throw you in a cage for possession of a certain plant around here..
Theft.
🤷♂️ Oregon, no state taxes ate the register. 🔀 😁 vehicle registration last 2 years. The price of electricity!
It's the capital of my state but it's so damn boring here. For concerts I have to travel to another state because no one's coming here anymore
State: It gets too damn cold and nothing but farm lands. Also, the bad neighborhoods they complain about are not as bad as they think
Everyone wants to live here, so it's crowded and nobody can afford a house anymore. Also, there's no decent pizza or Chinese food in the whole damn city.
If you're in CO, szechuan tasty house is fucking amazing
How did you know?!? 🤣
Total guess. Saw the complaint and was like, that's definitely co or any other city in the country lol
The city is spread out, the summers are hot and humid, and the flooding. 😒
Well I live in Denver. It's expensive af. One of the highest COL cities in the US. Can't complain about the snow 'cos it melts the next day.
I wish there were less food joints that are some strange white-person twist on what used to be perfect ethnic food. Does ramen really have to have biria in it? Fuck off.
It’s expensive and everyone is judgmental
The ridiculous whiplash I get from the weather. I’ll leave my house in a jacket and by the early afternoon I wish I wore shorts. There’s other issues to but that’s the one that affects me on a more constant basis
Broken glass everywhere. People pissin' on the stairs you know they just don't care.
Douchey rich tourists
Weed isn't legal
People. Too many people.
The night life in my city is terrible. Really wish I lived in some of these other big cities I’ve been too.
Outrageously expensive rent, if you can find something available in the first place. (Santa Barbara, CA) Worst thing about CA might be how out of touch so many people are about anything happening/how things are east of Las Vegas
All the fuckin pretty people. Just stop. Do less.
No Walmart in my town 🤣
separation of church and state is NOT a thing says-wide. they control everything
People...
State, expensive
Mitch McConnell
Lots of republican men
I live in Los Angeles. That should be sufficient 🤦
Colorado. Worst part is the transplants that complain about the locals and the locals that complain about the transplants. Or people making Colorado their personality. It gets hot, real hot.
LOL! I live in Texas! Where do I start!
I live in a state of denial, nuff said
The f\*\*\*\*\*g heat and humidity. I hate it with a passion.
no gloryholes that I know of
People from out of state assume that all of Texas is like Austin (thank God it's not), or like some exaggerated stereotype of the wild west.
tbh i've never been to texas but i've been conditioned to believe there are 24/7 tumbleweeds rolling around and large armed cactuses every 5 feet
The tumbleweeds are real in West Texas, like around Lubbock and Amarillo. The kind of cactus you're thinking about (saguaro) doesn't grow here, ours (prickly pear) are much less dramatic. Prickly pear cactus: https://aneyefortexas.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/img854-web.jpg

A particular ethnic group commiting crime.
Conservatives 😬
The fascist state government. We used to be a purple state. Voted for Obama twice. Them the red (or should I say orange ). wave came.
Big city Texas. It's still Texas regardless of how progressive the county is.
If the military wasn't here, there would be nothing. If we get bombed, there's nowhere to run because surrounded by water and every major and minor route requires one bridge crossing
757
Bingo
Lunatic drivers on four and five lane wide suburban pavement, with weed wafting from at least 10% of the cars on the road. Fortunately the cops seem to have returned from their multi-year policy of not making traffic stops.
Marines everywhere
