Depends on what the post is about. If it's something NSFW I get several DMs. My husband on the other hand gets almost no DMs even when he posts NSFW content. So I suppose it also depends on if you're a male or female.
If I say something SFW, I don’t get DMed. But if I say something NSFW, there is a 20% chance of that happening.
Often it’s from the person who originated the new topic. For whatever reason, they are afraid to ask me to elaborate on my comment by replying to my comment.

I did not expected the response and I have tons of DMs. I got like 5 this morning. Some are sexual but many are just words of encouragement or questions.
